Cant sync anymore apps
I have been able to sync apps before but now for some reason i cant sync anymore apps. I have all ready bought the apps but when i sync itunes says 'itunes has encounted a proble do you want to send a error report or not'
Pleas help:)
If you remove an app, can you sync it back on or is this just with new apps you purchase?
Basic trouble shooting would include
1)turn off pc
2)disconnect all USB devices except mouse & keyboard
3)turn pc back on
4)disable all antivirus, spyware programs
Before connecting ipod
5) turn it off (Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red "slide to power off" slider appears, then slide the slider and then back on.
6)plug it in using a different USB port than before
Try those steps once and see if it resolves or at least gives a more specific error.

- Is the iPod signed into the iTunes account that purchased the app?
- You are syncing the apps right? You can't manual manage apps like you can music.
- Do you have restrictions set that would prevent installing apps? Go to Settings>General>Restrictions to check. -
Q10 cant sync google apps work email and calendar
its says unable to lookup connection information. Please try again later or use advanced setup.

I cant sync music or photos anymore
i cant sync anymore music or photos on my ipod. everytime i tell it to sync the new playlist i have created it tells me that i cant because there is not enough free space left in the music library to do so. i only have like 100 songs on there. what is it talking about and how do i free up space so i can sync more music.

- Is the iPod signed into the same itunes account that purchased the apps? To change on the iPod go to Settings>Store and sign out of existing iTunes account and sign into the correct one.
- Have you had apps o the iPod before? I\The iPod has to iOS 2.x or later. -

iTunes Store: Transferring purchases from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod to a computer
- Transfer other music by using a third-party program lke one of those discussed here:
Copy music from Ipod to new computer...: Apple Support Communities
- Connect the iPod to the computer and make a backup by right-clicking on the iPOd under Devices in iTunes and selecting Back Up.
- Restore the iPod from that backup. That should also get you the update.
- If in the USA, you can also redownload most iTunes purchases by:

If you're unable to sync with iTunes any more and the error states you need a newer version of Apple Mobile Device Support, I would check out this article:

The first section has you troubleshoot your device, which is always a good idea but you might be able to skip since the error mentions Apple Mobile Device Support as the culprit. The second section is for troubleshooting iTunes and Apple Mobile Device Support.

Purchased an app on wifi but finished downloading it on pc,cant sync it
I just purchased angry birds on ipad but i was not able to finish downloading it in a wifi zone. So i went home to finish downloading it on my pc. I finished downloading it but I cant seem to sync it on my ipad. And the icon where I was downloading angry birds used to be is still there on my ipad with "Waiting..." labeled on it, cant remove it. So how can I sync the app in my ipad so I can start playing it?

In iTunes under my device, under the apps tab, Why are all the options shaded out? I cannot make any changes, select any apps or do anything with the apps. I was able to load a few apps and sync but cannot sync anymore to my phone.

So the menu bar reads iChat, File, Edit, View, Buddies, Video, Window and Help
There is no Buddy List open.
There is no other window for iChat open.
In the iChat Menu you only have access to Status.
Is an item ticked in the list ?
Is this a green (Available item) or Red ( an Away one) ?
Can you access the Accounts option ? (Sitll in the iChat Menu)
Is anything in here ticked ?
In the Window menu any Logged in account should appear in the list (Between the Next Chat and File Transfer items)
It would be useful to know which version of iChat this is.
If no account is ticked (iChat Menu > Accounts) or not showing in the Window Menu, plus you cannot determine the Status and you cannot access the Preferences then you need to access your Home Folder/Library/Preferences
As the Library in the Home Holder is Invisible in Lion you will need the Finder's Go Menu > Go to Folder option (you can use it in earlier OS versions if you want)
Type in:-
~/Library/Preferences
Find the file called com.apple.ichat.plist
Drag it to the Trash and Restart iChat.
This will lose all the settings in iChat that you have changed from Defaults but there is no way around this.

Cant sync apps onto Itouch, symbols are grey
When I downloaded apps from Itunes, I couldnt sync the apps into my itouch, the symbols are grey. Why and what can I do about it? ( I recently upraded my Itouch to IOS 5.0.1,and I cant sync apps since then.)
the picture is somewhat vague,the black parts are the apps that I can use, the greys ones I cant use them, I cant find them on my Itouch either.

Recently i unchecked the box i tune wifi sync and try to connect my i phone using the usb cable provided. Now my macbook cant detect my phone, help!! I cant sync my phone anymore....
The update did not do anything.
AT&T cannot and will not do anything, they do not provide support for iPhones, Apple does.
The issue is not with the iPhone or iOS if you've reset network settings and tried forgetting the Wi-Fi Network, it is specific to the network.
Check the settings on the router, try disabling the security settings first... that will clarify the issue is not with the device but rather the Network. -
Mail.app got stuck and doesn't sync anymore
Ok, I'll leave all my comments and the frustration out of this post. As many of other people around I can't get Mail.app sync anymore with GMail server.
Unsucessfully I tried to remove and create the account, including deleting the account.plist file in the folder (just in case).
Looking into the console file, I spot this message, that doesn't offer any clue onf what's wrong.
Mail[7196]: *** -[__NSPlaceholderArray initWithObjects:count:]: attempt to insert nil object from objects[0]
or
Mail[7196]: An exception occurred during invocation of -[IMAPMailboxSyncEngine _goWithMessagesIfNeeded:]

Try to find the App on the phone and press it and see if the download resumes. If that does not work then power the phone off with the power button, restart, and try the first method.

If you are permanently moving to a new computer copy your entire iTunes folder from your old computer to your new one (see http://support.apple.com/kb/HT45270) as well as any synced content not in your iTunes library such as photos, calendar and contacts.
