Cant sync movies missing

I have an ipod classic and recently reset it. Now I cannot sync my purchased movies from my itunes library. It says they are missing.

When you synced the new 4S in iTunes is should have asked you if you wanted to restore it from the backup of your 3GS (see http://support.apple.com/kb/ht2109). As for the missing + sign in Calendar, go to Settings>iCloud and Calendars set to On.

Problems with Syncing movies to ipad4

I have just got 2 new ipad 4, and i have sat them up from a icloud copy from two different iphones. but one of them i cant sync movies to, but the other on does. i have gone trough the settings on both, and they are simmilar. what can i do?
the one that doesent sync movies -
i have sat the settings to manually manage files. And i drag and drop the movie in to the ipad (just lik i do with the other ipad), and it starts to go trough the sync on the top of itunes, but it doesent copy the movie over.
when i klikk the ipad tab, ang go to ipad content i find the movie under "movies", but its greyed outl. and isnt realy there.
what i Wrong???

I accidentally uploaded songs from cds to the wrong itunes library. i would like to move those songs to my regular itunes library that i use to purchase and download music, since my ipod cant sync to both libraries. how can i do this? please advise. thank

Cant Sync Rental movies to Iphone 3gs

I have an Iphone 3GS (version 4.1) and a Mac. I cant sync my rented movie to my iphone. I clicked on the movie tab, clicked move (moves movie from "rented Movies box to Iphone box), clicked apply. Half way through the sync, the movie moves back to the "rented movies" box. Nothing happened. No error codes or warnings or anything. Nothing on my iphone. I cant Clear my "sync-history"--- supposedly it helps, but i cant actually do it there is no such thing as clear sync history. hooray for extremely long download times and completely ridiculous sync methods.

I think the way to get pictures onto your iPhone, is to have a database of pictures in a folder in My Documents. When your iPhone is device connected to iTunes, goto the pictures tab for your device and you should be able to check off the folder that you made. When you sync, the pics should move over to the iPhone.

Thanks for your reply, but you might have misunderstood it a bit. I'm NOT trying to buy a movie. ****, I'm not even in the actual Apple Store, when this happens I'm in the library not the Store part of iTunes.
To clarify - I have purchased a physical copy of a movie which came with another physical copy which contains the digital copy. The digital copy is on the DVD, all I need is just to transfer this file to my iPod Touch, for example, I'm not trying to download it from the store or repurchase it and it's not any gift code that I've received, the digital copy is on the disc. This is the first time ever that I've purchased something on a disc and I'm not allowed to access it because the disc hasn't been purchased within my country.
So again - I'm not attempting any purchase or download any purchased digital copy - it's on a DVD I own physically so... why is even the region of my Store relevant, the code I enter is (as I assume) just supposed to check if it's a legal genuine copy (which it is, as I've said - there are 6 discs in the pack: 3 movies on 3 Blu-rays and 3 DVD containing these digital copies of them). If I own it, I think that's proof enough that I have the right to use it. I just don't get it. I fully agree with you and understand your point if there was any purchase going on here, but it's not, it's just - I put a disc into my computer and I can't access it

Is your original computer fried and no longer usable?
If you do not have a backup of your iTunes library on DVD or an external drive, you either have to start from scratch, meaning load all of your photos onto the new laptop, (if you have the photos stored elsewhere) and do the same with the music. In the U.S. you can download all of your purchased music again for free with the iCloud feature available in iOS 4.3. You would have to import any music from CD again that you had in iTunes as well.
There is a software available called iPad Transfer that claims to be able to transfer your iPad contents onto a computer. Your photos will not be in the original resolution from what I understand but I really no nothing about this application. You can read about it here.

There also data recovery services that you can look for as well. I have no idea what they entail and what they may cost but I think you can retrieve you contents that way as well.

I cant sync my ipod with my pc. i tried connecting it to several computers using several cables but though it does charge, it cant seem to be synced. itunes does not recognize that a device has been connected, so i cant sync music, photos or anything else.
my device is ipod touch 4. version is 4.2.1
what can I do?

I cant add videos to the iTunes library from my windows so i cant sync it with my iPad

I have the same issue too.   I have many (dozens) of movies that I have ripped from my personal DVDs.   For the past 18 months, I have been able to sync and play any of them at-will on my iPad (so the format is fine).
Today I tried to check a few to add (that I had on the iPad at one point in the past).    The iTunes interface on my WM7 PC went through the motions of synching ... the status bar on top even displayed the names of the 3 movies I tried to add as they were loading.   The iPad storage bar indicated that the 3 movies were loaded too.
But on the iPad - no.   No additional movies were showing.   Only the 3 I had added a few weeks ago during the last time I synched and swapped out movies.
This sounds almost like a clear case of a bug in the latest iTunes update. Oh did I mention that iTunes insisted on updating itself today?
*****.   Never thought I'd see such a blatant bug in an apple release.

Cant sync my photos

i used to have my photos file in D/ drive then changed it to the original picuteres file in c/ user
anyways i changed all my files from D/ to C/ i can sync music videos but cant sync photos all the itunes just stop working and i get the close close and check online for sulution and debug i choose debug andd i get this error " inhandled exception in iTunes.exe ( quicktime.QTS):0xC000005: Acces violation"
i tried deleting the photo chache reset sync history delete itunes and reinstall
it reaches about 690 pics out of 713 then it crashed i would really appreciate the help

i just found out that i cant sync my videos or movies to my iphone 4s today i tried using many apps to convert videos and still didnt work at all i have no idea if there is something my phone need i have an Iphone 4s with iOS 7.0.4 please help me i dont know what to do to solve it

the videos were in the correct format because i even made a new copy in itunes for ipod/iphone but it was not letting me sync neither videos or music but i fixed it the issue was that i was using a different usb cord than the original becuase mine was tolen so i bought one in ebay and i was using that one to sync my stuff and it was not letting me i was not getting any error message or anything it was like just syncing but nothing was being transfer to my phone so what i did was used the original usb cable from my ipod touch to try and sync and it worked. because i resetted to as new and everything but it was not working until i used the original usb cord to do it Thanks for answering

Photos Not Syncing; Photos Missing From Albums, No Error Message, Running iTunes for Windows & iOS 7.1.2

I am having an issue with syncing my photos on my iOS devices running iOS 7.1.2, the two being an iPhone 4s and iPad 2 Wi-Fi + 3G.
When I sync photos, I keep on having photos turn up missing from entire albums. I have tried everything I can to resolve this issue from the support article titled <a href="http://support.apple.com/kb/TS3697">iTunes: Unable to sync photos</a>, and nothing has successfully worked in any kind of permanent form. I have even gone so far as to sync albums individually with a limit of around 400-500 total photos per sync, (give or take), and tried using what very little options I have on the photos tab for my devices in iTunes to essentially trick the devices to sync the missing photos. Despite this, iTunes still fails to sync newly added photos from the source location.
I have even made the attempt of re-installing iOS 7 on both devices, and restoring from backup. Again with no avail.
My best guess for my iPhone is that as it is a 16 GB, not all of 15.6 GB of photos will sync to the device, (go figure), but that doesn't explain why recent photos aren't added OR why my iPad 2 of 64 GB has missing photos.
As of this post, I have an estimated 38,940 files, spread across 1,703 folders, (a large amount of folders being in some of the folders; from my knowledge never being more than two folders in). They are all in one dedicated folder on a hard drive I've dedicated to iTunes and music related files, (for the sake of AVOIDING this kind of nonsense, I might add).
As for the system OS and iTunes, I am running Windows 7 64 bit, and I am using iTunes 11.2.2.3, but will have updated to iTunes 11.3 by the time anyone responds.

I have the exact same problem.
Same kind of photos/videos taken with the same camera randomly sync.

I have installed itunes 10.7 several times. All goes well. After reboot, I go into itunes and check for updates and it says I need to download the update 10.7! (And so cant sync with my Iphone)

Thank you for getting me started on the track by mentioning "Revo" Uninstaller. The results of "Revo" spoke volumns on why a successful install of ITunes is so difficult to achieve. It is the evil "BONJOUR".
I then tripped upon the following site by Apple and the detailed directions (I read, printed, re-read and followed the instructions. It was intense) brought a successful ITunes, Quick Time and the lovely Bonjour home. Thank you for the start JD42.

I am having a weird problem with my phone every since it was updated this last time. I can sync movies from my computer to my iphone but any movies I buy with my phone I can not sync to the computer. But I redownload it to the computer and can then sync.

I can sync anything from my computer to the iphone. I can not sync movies bought on the iphone to my computer. I have tried everything and spent days trying to trouble shoot. I have uninstalled Itunes reinstalled, troubles shooted using the itunes trouble shooter and reset my phone and nothing works.

You are correct. Syncing should transfer any purchased media, including videos, from your device to your iTunes library provided your computer is authorized for the Apple ID used to make these purchases. You mentioned that you have uninstalled iTunes before, but if you didn't follow this guide exactly, uninstalling iTunes and all of its components in the order specified, it may not have been successful so you should try again: Windows XP or Windows Vista/7.

Is there a way to access my old Notes only? I still have my old back up but I cant sync to my phone or it will corrupt it.

I am using an iphone 5. Recently it malfunctioned and I was told by apple that my old back up had a corruption with it an caused my phone to malfunction. Apple had to redownload the operating system. I was also told that I can not use my old back on my phone I need to delete it and manually download everything. I DID NOT USE ICLOUD. However I do have my old back up still on my mac in itunes. you can restore from your backup again just to get the notes. once you've restored from the backup, copy your notes into your icloud notes group or email them to yourself - basically, get them somewhere else so they're not just locally stored on the device. once you've moved your notes elsewhere, restore the device as new again like apple had you do. this will again put a fresh version of the operating system on your phone like it has right now
there's no other way to access the notes that are in your backup
