Is your original computer fried and no longer usable?
If you do not have a backup of your iTunes library on DVD or an external drive, you either have to start from scratch, meaning load all of your photos onto the new laptop, (if you have the photos stored elsewhere) and do the same with the music. In the U.S. you can download all of your purchased music again for free with the iCloud feature available in iOS 4.3. You would have to import any music from CD again that you had in iTunes as well.
There is a software available called iPad Transfer that claims to be able to transfer your iPad contents onto a computer. Your photos will not be in the original resolution from what I understand but I really no nothing about this application. You can read about it here.

There also data recovery services that you can look for as well. I have no idea what they entail and what they may cost but I think you can retrieve you contents that way as well.

CONNECTING IPAD TO DENON VIA HDMI

Can I use my ipad to connect to denon HDMI port so that I can use it as a display device to view the onscreen menu of the denon.
As you know onscreen menu or GUI of denon is displayed only via HDMI port, so I want to connect my ipad to this HDMI out port of denon so that I can use it as a display...is that possible?

Im trying to sync my new imac with my ipads and iphones, I have alot of music on my devices and when I plug them in to the new imac i get a message that states this devise is paired to another computer (my opd PC ) When I logged into Itunes it uploaded my music the I had purchased in the past , But for the music that was burned from CDs it doesn't. I dont want to lose my music. what can I do?
Also, How do I change the computer that my devices are linked too. My old PS is broken and I will not be syncing my devices with it any longer.

While it isn't as easy to just use a Mac iDevice as media storage as Android and Windows, you can add documents and such like Word, PDF and others manually in iTunes to have them sync as well.

Can I sync my iPad and iPhone via iCloud

Sorry if this has been answered before, but I searched and could not find a solution.
I, obviously, did not set up iOS5 correctly because I now have two sets of Contacts on my iPhone. One is called Contacts from my Mac and the other is called from iCloud. I guess I was confused by being able to sync over Wi-Fi and also being able to sync with iCloud (maybe). Below is what I'd like to be able to do. Can I? If so, how?
My Mac runs Snow Leopard. ( I rely on too many Apps that run Rosetta to upgrade now.) My iPhone and iPad have iOS5. Can I sync my iPhone to my Mac using Wi-Fi? It seems the answer is yes as long as the iPhone is plugged into a power source and both devices are on the same network. Does the sync'ing occur in the background or do progress bars show up on the Mac and the iPhone? Can I use a PowerMat as the power source or must it be receiving power through the doc connector?
It appears that while I can sync the iPhone to my Mac, I can still back up the iPhone to iCloud. Is that correct?
If I do not plan to enter new data on my iPad, can the iPad be set up to receive contact and calendar updates from iCloud. i.e. iPad either pulls updates from iCloud or sync's with the iPhone data that's backed up in iCloud.
I think what I'm trying to do is have all 3 devices current without installing Lion in my Mac. I recognize that new data on the iPad will not sync to my iPhone, but that's OK.

Are iPhone and iPad both use the same Apple ID for iCloud?

Ipad Streaming Netflix via HDMI Cable Again

My Ipad quit streaming Netflix to our TV through an HDMI cable in early October, right after iOS 7 and the Netflix software update came out. Netflix issued version 5.02 in late October, and siad that fixed the problem. But that still did not help. Now Applle has issued iOS 7.0.4 to fix some bugs. They did not indicate that this was one of the bugs. But we can now stream to the TV over the HDMI cable again.

There is no ''true'' version of Firefox for IOS. There is a really cool app called Firefox Home though. Take a look at the Knowledge Base article [[What is Firefox Home]]. Why cant my TV see my Mac via HDMI?

Why cant my MAcbook see my TV? Ive connected with an HDMI cable.

I am having a similar problem with my Samsung DLP, but I'm going through a Monster HDMI switch. However, the same configuration works when I plug the HDMI cable to my Viewsonic LCD.
This configuration (HDMI box) worked up until a few days ago. I just dropped $100 a cable (3 cables) for some monster HDMI cables and it still doesn't work. It's like the ATV doesn't have enough signal to make it through the box for the Samsung (but ok for the Viewsonic). So logic tells me it's the TV (Samsung) but I wanted to see if others had such an issue and if there was any software fixes for the ATV.
I'm going to post the details of my configuration and ask what am I doing wrong...

This is my 1st BB and I cannot figure this part out.
I do not have wireless sync capabilities so I need to do it through Desktop manager and when I try it says:

So I click help and I get this:

Click Help on your device for more information about wireless data synchronization."
There is no info that I can find on my "device" that discusses this issue.

Had the same problem and saw ur post. Here is how I fixed my problem. The problem was my gmail account. I just reinstalled it on my blackberry to receive emails and it apparently erased all my contacts. On your phone go to "Email Settings". There should be a list of email accounts. Check each email account (for me it was gmail). Click on "Synchronization Options". There will be an Item called "Contacts" which will be checked. Uncheck it and click "Save". Go back into Desktop manager and "Address Book" can be restored.

I have been trying for months now and am ready to toss it in the bin and go buy a Samsung Galaxy Tab.. Also I purchased the entire seasons Gossip Girls and even though the money was taken once they were downloaded they disappeared when I tried to sync.. I own 6 Apple products and am ready to take my sons advice and buy a Samsung Galaxy Tab to match the samsung phone that he just bought.. Itunes is getting beyond a joke I have owned this Ipad for a year and would be lucky to have used it a total of 12 hours cause it isnt any fun not being able to update or play anthing cause it is supposedly linked to another acct.. Trying to get anyone to talk to is like pulling teeth.. Total waste of money...

You will need to restore using Recovery Mode. You can read about it here.

Or you can follow these instructions.
Disconnect the USB cable from the iPad, but leave the other end of the cable connected to your computer's USB port.
Turn off iPad: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red slider appears, then slide the slider. Wait for iPad to turn off.
If you cannot turn off iPad using the slider, press and hold the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons at the same time. When the iPad turns off, release the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons.
While pressing and holding the Home button, reconnect the USB cable to iPad. When you reconnect the USB cable, iPad should power on.
Continue holding the Home button until you see the "Connect to iTunes" screen. When this screen appears you can release the Home button.
If necessary, open iTunes. You should see the recovery mode alert that iTunes has detected an iPad in recovery mode.
Use iTunes to restore iPad.

whenever i plug it in and it appears in the side bar under devices the sync button at the bottom right is grayed out and cant be cliked on. whenever ive changed the settings it wont let me apply them either. ive restored it ecleast 3 times now in attempts to fix it. pleas help.

What Mac do you have?
To find out info about your system,
Click on the Apple symbol in the upper left of the OS X main menu bar. A drop down menu appears.
Click About this Mac. A smaller popup window appears. This gives you basic info like what version of OS X your iMac is running, the speed of your iMac's CPU and how much RAM is installed.
Click on the button that says More Info. A larger window appears giving you a complete overview of your iMac's hardware specs.
Highlight all of this info and copy/paste all of this into another reply to this post, editing out your iMac's serial number before actually posting the reply.
