CANT SYNC PHOTOS WITH ITUNES

Everytime I sync my iphone to with itunes it gives me this message saying the photos cannot be synced: Photos folder syncing has been disabled for iphone "Iphone"because the folder "I" cannot be found.
I have no idea what folder "I" is. Please someone help me!

See what your options are in the photo pane in itunes with your phone connected. Sounds like the folder you selected on your computer got renamed for some reason. Try to choose another folder from that list and try again to sync your pictures from your computer to the phone.

Cant Sync atv1 with itunes after updating OSX

recently reinstalled snow leopard and now i cant sync etc with my atv1. It comes up in the devices list but when i click on it all i get is a settings tab and a photos tab. Previously i had several tabs that would allow me to sync programs etc. Programs bought on atv not showing up in library--because i cant sync them. pleasse help!!!!

Go to settings/computers/your library and disconnect, then computers/settings/connect to iTunes and reconnect.

My iPad won't sync photos with iTunes & the photos tab has gone on itunes

I'm using an iMac with itunes version 11.1.5 and I have been trying to sync my iPad to add photos but it keeps failing. However i have noticed that there doesnt seem to be a "photos" tab any longer on iTunes has this option been removed??

You can never totally remove anything that you have purchased from iTunes, the App Store, or iBooks. Your purchases will always be tied to your Apple ID. You can hide those songs by going to Settings>iTunes and App Store>Show all>Music>Off. You can do the same for videos.
But bear in mind, all that you are doing is hiding the purchases and they will not be downloaded to your device unless you go back to that settings, show the songs again and then tap the cloud to download them to the iPad.

Syncing photos with iTunes

I have a bit of an odd setup with my pictures on my computer. I don't like using iPhoto, so I manually manage my pictures in a folder. However, I would like to sync some pictures from my folder to my iPod Touch. The way I did it was to import the photos I wanted to iPhoto and then sync iPhoto with my iTouch. However, this means there are now 3 copies of these photos on my computer: One in the folder, one in iPhoto, and apparently there's a sync list or something of "optimized" photos for my iPod Touch (I noticed during sync that iTunes said it was "optimizing" my photos, whatever that means, and that something was being written to my HD). Is there a better way to do this, perhaps using less space and being a bit more intuitive?
I know iTunes has a functionality to sync directly from a folder, but I don't want to sync an entire folder; I only want to sync a very select group of pictures.

This is just a guess but have you tried creating a new folder, Alt-Command-dragging the files you want (to create aliases) then syncing that folder?

I cant sync photos with my nano

everytime that i try to transfer photos i receive this messages:
"the iPod cannot be updated.An unknown error occurred(-50)"
"the iPod cannot be updated. The disk cannot be read from or written from"

Hey, My mums friends hubby is coming down on the 28th and hes switched on witht theses things, and once again i have the same problem I have no Ipod Tab, but the way i found you can do it if it works: Connect your ipod to the computer, (if you have the same iTunes as me) get a little tab called devices on the left hand column where all your playlists are and libary is. If the screen does not pop up automatically click the tab and you should get summary with a picture of you ipod model up. Then above the summary is a line of tabs click the one that says "Photos" its the 4th one. Then you should get a drop down tab with My pictures on or your related program. this should be next to a checkbox which says "Sync photo's from" click the checkbox then either selected photos or all photos. Then apply. When you get the message come up about the ERROR (-50) click (X) instead of ok, it will carry on processing the updates, try this 2 or times, if there is no hope for pictures on the ipod nano after that then email me after the 29th when my mums friends hubbys sorted mine out lol... <[email protected]>

I have just brought home a new ipad 2 and i cant get it to my itunes to recognise it, my pc was picking it up as a camera but i have stopped that . I cant sync it with itunes

i have just bought a brand new ipad 2 and i cant get it to sync with itunes on my pc, running windows vista. Tried all the stuff on the itunes diagnostics but still cant get itunes to pick it up. Any ideas.

Try both of these -
Connect your iPad to your computer
Open My computer / Computer
Locate the Apple camera icon
Right click on it and go to Properties
There should be a place to set what will happen each time the device is connected, set it to do nothing.

Im trying to sync my iphone wirelessly with itunes. I dont even have the option on itunes to allow wifi sync when my phones plugged in. All my products are up to date. Help ?

-I noticed when i have my phone plugged in to my computer, and stop the sync, i can go to my phone setting and press sync now because it wont be grayed out but if i unplug it, it goes gray again. I tried plugging my phone into the wall, and it stays grayed out.

That might be a damaged iPod photo cache, Kid.
If you delete your photo cache as per the following document, are you able to get a proper photo sync?

Wow, Superb troubleshooting so far! Usually for the symptoms you have described, I recommend the sub-step titled “If the device is not recognized while in Recovery Mode” located in Step 5 of this article:

However, it seems like you have exhausted all of the suggestions in that step. Did you happen to move on to Step 6: Check for third-party software conflicts? If not, here is the excerpt:
Certain phone and cellular device connectivity software from vendors such as Samsung, Nokia, Bora, Novatel, Sony, Android, LG, Sierra, Huawei, Pantech, or Motorola may cause your device not to be recognized. If you have such software on your computer:
1. Uninstall the phone or cellular connectivity software temporarily, and test. Contact the manufacturer of this software for assistance in doing this. If you use the third-party phone or cellular device for your Internet connection, try connecting to an alternate network using Wi-Fi or Ethernet.
2. Remove iTunes and all related Apple software by following this article (for Windows XP), or this article (for Windows Vista, Windows 7, and Windows 8).
3. After reinstalling iTunes, test the device.
4. If you still need your third-party phone or cellular connectivity software that was removed, reinstall this software and test your device to ensure it still functions with iTunes. Contact the vendor of your phone connectivity software if the issue returns.
Also, third-party security software may conflict with iOS devices connecting to iTunes. Follow this article to troubleshoot issues that may be caused by your security software. After resolving any issues you may have with your security software, you may need to try the steps in this article again.

Please somebody help !
When i connect iphone 3G to computer everything is ok, but when i try to connect with itune its not work and writing : " This iPhone cannot be used because the equired software is not installed. Run the itunes installer to remove itunes, then install itunes again."
I try everything and use all of itunes versions un all QuickTime versions - i already get all computer updates and i dont know whats a problem.
Im try nearly everything and now getting tired because i try to work out that nearly a two weeks.
Please help .

When I try to sync photo with itunes on my iphone 5, photos get saved in two different albums Photo gallery and one folder by the name of folder which I have sync...Why is that? Itunes version 11.0

You need to upgrade to SP3 before you can install the current version of iTunes.
Or backup your library and move it to a newer computer.

HT4236 Syncing photos with itunes

When I synced my photos from my computer to my ipod touch it created two photo albums. How do I delete one of them off of my device?

They are not Duplications.
Photo Library is the Summary of all photos synced from your computer.
Example here:
I have two folders synced to iPhone namely "Car" and "Personal", I can either go to specific folder to display only the photos in that folder or go to Photo Library to display all photos from all folders.
Car - 20 Photos
Personal - 11 Photos
Therefore Photo Library - 31 Photos.
