Cant't get photos on to my nano

I just bought an iPod nano today, and got the music onto it no problem, but I can't get photos on it. I have iPhoto 4.0.3 and iTunes 5.0.1. But when I try to put photos on according to the guidelines, it just tells me I need iPhoto 4.0.3 or later. So it seems to think my version of 4.0.3 is out of date. Any ideas on this one...it's driving me crazy.

just for fun, try to limit the nano's available playlists to one small playlist and try to sync again. (don't forget to point your nano at a couple iPhoto albums in the preferences (which I suspect you have already done).
The photo-capable iPods (nano included) load music first, photos second. If you are loading > than your nano's capacity with music, you'll never get pics.
I have several playlists (about 3.5 GB total), leaving ~0.2 GB leftover for photos.
By pointing my iTunes/nano preferences at these playlists (I have capped the smart playlists to a fixed GB size to prevent them from growing out of control), I have had no problem with photo syncing.
I'm away from my mac right now, so I can't tell you what verison of iPhoto I am using...

How do I get photos FROM my NANO ONTO my PC?! Please help!

Can anyone please help? Back in December I put loads of photos and music from my pc onto my nano. Then my pc got badly infected and I lost everything! I went a bought a reconditioned PC as my old one wont boot up or anything.
Anywho, does anyone know if it's possible for me to get my photos off of my nano and put them onto my PC?
I tried with the songs and went and lost them all. I don't want to lose my pics as I have no copies of them anywhere! Not too bothered about losing all my songs as I can replace them.
Can anyone help at all or must I just face it that I am going to lose all my precious pictures?

Cant get photos off of a Samsung Trender and onto my iMac

I'm trying to get photos off of my daughter's Samsung Trender phone. Every bit of info I can find speaks in terms of using a Windows machine. When I hook her phone up via USB it doesn't mount so it's a bit of a dead end. Is there a driver of some sort I need to be able to see the phone?

Have you tried using Image Capture with the phone conected by USB? Of that doesn't work follow Larry's suggestion.

Can't get photos from iPhoto to iPod

My iPod software won't recognize my iPhoto library so I can't synch pictures. When I select the iPod Option to synchronize photos from iPhoto and do an iPod update, it doesn't transfer and photos from iPhoto and in fact it unchecks the synchronize photos option in the iPod software. I'm using a 60GB video iPod w/the current iPod software, iTunes 6.0.1, iPhoto 5.0.4 on an iMac G5, running OS X 10.4.3.

Getting Photos from iPhoto 5 to an iPod
create a special Album in iPhoto for the Nano and place those photos in it you want on the iPod.
connect the Nano to the Mac and when mounted in iTunes open iTunes' preferences and go to the iPod Photos section - Figure 1.
scroll down till you see the album and select it. If you don't want the full sized image files to be copied to the Nano do not select the Include full-resolution photos box.
close the preferences and when the syncing is completed dismount the Nano and then disconnect from the Mac.

Cant access my photos and videos on N95

After I installed the latest software update for N95 my cellphone started to act weird. First: everytime I try to access the "gallery" it freeze the cellphone so I cant see my photos and video. Thats VERY annoying and my battery metter can be fully charged and in a few hours all of a sudden my cellphobe start to beep "low battery".
Everytime I try to see a photo my N95 freeze and stop responding and I have 2 options: 1) turn off the cellphone or 2)press the red button(hang up).
When I try to change my photo on MSN Messenger the phone also freeze. Everything that is photo related freeze my cellphone.
I still can take pics and record movies but cant see/watch them. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Do you mean your photos in the Photo Stream?
First her system and iPhoto version should support iCloud and Photo Stream: OS X 10.7. 5 and iPhoto 9.4 or later.
Next, she would have to log into the your iCloud account in her System/iCloud preference pane and enable Photo Stream:
She would also have to enable Photo Stream in here iPhoto Photo Stream preferences:
If she enables all of the iCloud features in the System/iCloud preference pane she'll be syncing your Contact list with hers, bookmards, etc. If you want to have her only get the photos do not enable any of the other items. If she has her own iCloud account she'll won't be able to use it.
If you want to create a Shared Photo Stream
so she could view the phtotos you put in it without using your iCloud account the system requiremets are: OS X 10. 8.2 or later. This Apple document describes what is needed: iCloud: System requirements

Despite having followed all advice for connecting the lightning/sd card reader, I am unable to import photos onto the ipad. Could it be related to how the card is formatted?

No. But you can take a photo of the video with your Mac.
With the iPod connected to your computer, click on the iPod, open the DCIM folder & move the video file onto your desktop. Play the video & when you get to the part you want to take a picture of, put Quicktime on pause. Take a screen shot (appleshift3) or (appleshift4 for cross hair cropping) of the paused video.

Thanks for the help, but i've actually done that before.
It does not help, because it only shows the photos on the camera roll and do not show the photos synchronized with that pc that i dont have access anymore.
The photos/albums all appear on the ipad, i can see it without problems but i cant get them out of the ipad to save onto pc for backup.
And i reaaly need it, as it is the only place that i actually have these photos now...

To open Raw 5D Mk 3 photos you'll have to either:
a) upgrade to CS6, or

Getting photo albums off my iphone 4s I have Windows 7 which I have down loaded to

just cant seem to figure out how to get photos off my phone I have no more room and it says i have 4000 photos and cant do anything more (syncing)

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought there was no workaround in iOS 7 if Find My iPhone can't be turned off on the phone. I thought that was the whole purpose of the change, to keep thieves from restoring a stolen phone.

ok everyone i had the EXACT same problem just today as well. i turned my iPod on and when i tried to play a song nothing happened, my screen is frozen, and it's making me angry. my nano is sitting in front of the monitor on the computer desk and slowly losing battery power, or so i think. i tried shutting it off, but it wouldn't do anything and the LCD screen won't even go off either it's still on too/___sbsstatic___/migration-images/migration-img-not-avail.png is this week and possibly the next week after national iPod malfunction week??
