Cant transfer my music on my laptop

I have a laptop with iTunes on it and it has all of my music on it. I can transfer songs to and from my iPod Mini easily and it works fine, but when I go to try and transfer music to my iPhone it wont do it. It says session has timed out. But I have a Gateway desktop PC and Im able to transfer songs from the PC to my iPhone.

iPods and iDevices in general do not get installed... they are synced with the computer.
iDevices are not backup devices, use the backup of the computer to put the content back.

You need to transfer the iTunes Library from the most recent backup you made before the hard drive was replaced.
You can't transfer the full iTunes Library from the iPad back to iTunes.
There are third-party Windows applications that will transfer data from an iOS device, but they don't re-create the iTunes Library exactly as it was before.

Connect it to your computer and restore it as a new device. Then chose what music you want to sync with it and do so just like your Touch does.

If you have it and your music is in the library. Do this. Connect you ipad to your computer click on ipad button in itunes next to summary click on music add check mark to sync music click on entire music library and hit apply at the bottom of your screen.

CANT transfer new music to iPod!

I cannot transfer my music from the computer to the iPod! I have downloaded the new 7.o version. The computer tells me that my computer "is not authorized to play these songs." try playing the songs for a few seconds in itunes. are you asked to authorise them? if so, do they transfer after doing that?

I recently changed my email address and my apple id, I did all that using the options that the apple store gave me. As soon as i was done, i attempted to purchase an app and my iphone gave me a message saying that my apple id was never been used before and that i needed to add my credit card info, i thought that was weird because i already had all that info with my apple id. So i retyped all my info and now it seems like i opened a completely new apple id, there is no record of all my purchases and when i try using my old apple id, it says that it wasnt found. Im just trying to get all my music and apps that i paid for back, so if anybody could help i would really appreciate it.

if you are talking about the iCloud website, then it sounds as if you have auto-entry going on. You need to clear the login field and enter the new ID and then the new password, and elect to save these when prompted.

You will have to move them from your old computer or your backup copy of your old computer to the new one.

To move an iPhoto Library to a new machine:
Link the two Macs together: there are several ways to do this: Wireless Network,Firewire Target Disk Mode, Ethernet, or even just copy the Library to an external HD and then on to the new machine...
But however you do choose to link the two machines...
Simply copy the iPhoto Library from the Pictures Folder on the old Machine to the Pictures Folder on the new Machine.
Then launch iPhoto. That's it.
This moves photos, events, albums, books, keywords, slideshows and everything else.

How do I transfer my music from my laptop to my iPhone? I've already checked the sync only checked songs and videos box, the manually manage music and videos box. I only want to sync the songs I checked, but it transfers all the music.

I dont want to transfer all the music just the checked ones. My macbook transfers all the music from my library to my iphone. I dont get it. Please if you could help that would be terrific.

Are you pressing the Sync button to transfer music after connecting your iPhone or do you have the option checked to 'Automatically Sync when the iPhone is connected?'
Have you tried manually dragging and dropping music from your library into your phone?
