Cant transfer purchases?????

why when i authorise a new computer can i not just listen to my purchases. why make it so hard? the tunes are greyed out so that i cant play them. what am i missing? i tried transfering them on a cd but adolf refused this aswell (should of realised really)
so when you synch the ipod on the new computer it wipes it clean THEN HOW DO I LISTEN TO MY PURCHASES? AAAARRGGGHHHH THE MOST FRUSTRATING THING IN THE WORLD.

Ive Authorized My Computer..But Cant Transfer Purchases!??

Hi,
I wanted to transfer my purchases today, so a pop up came up and said Your Computer is not authorized.
So i authorized it and it was succsesful. But evrytime i click transfer purchases it just says Your computer is not auhtorized.
Whats up?
and how can i do it?

I cant transfer purchases to a playlist because of data execution prevention the programme closes

I am trying to transfer itune purchases from my library to a new playlist. Every time I click on a track I get an error message "Data Execution Prevention" and the programme closes.

UPDATE:
I figured out how to find previous purchases (That tutorial is for a mac. I have a pc) Now it only gives me the option to download via iCloud. I do not want to do that because that just another headache waiting to happen.
UPDATE 2:
My mistake, it doesnt give the option to download via iCLoud. It just says they are already downloaded to my computer, which is BS because it never worked in the first place. So is there any way to tell itunes to "check again" to see if the music in question is, in fact, on my computer?

Cant transfer purchased songs to mp4 player

Hi can anyone help me?
I was given an MP4 player (no name brand from ebay)and an itunes gift card the problem i seem to be having is that I can transfer the songs that are already in itunes to my MP4 player but when i transfer the purchased songs it shows them on the MP4 when connected to my computer but they dont show up on the MP4 when playing songs, any help would be great. thanks Tamwah

Except for iTunes Plus content, purchased files from the iTunes Store cannot be used on a portable device other than an iPod, iPhone, and a handful of Motorola cellphones.

I Cant Transfer Purchase

I have an iphone 3g and i am unable to transfer the Sat Nav UK & Ireland App to my itunes, it says that i have transferred when i actually haven't, i have tried authorising my account but it already is authorised, any help?

i can see the app on the iphone just like any other app, it has an update that it wont let me do as well

Itunes closes when trying to transfer purchases from ipod or iphone

Using a PC with Vista. Installed iOS 5 this morning. Cannot update either ipod touch 3g or iphone 3g with software update until "prior purchases are transferred to itune" - unfortunately every time I try to "transfer the prior purchases" Itunes closes completely. I've been working on this for hours now. Anyone got any ideas how to get around this?

If you are using iTunes, you cant transfer purchases in the iPod to the Mac, you need 3rd Party Software.

Cant Find My Playlists - Being asked to transfer purchases instead

Problem 1 - I had 2 playlists on itunes that now i cant find when i open the program. Does anyone know what to do to retreive my playlists?
Problem 1A - Now when i connect my ipod it asks me if i want to transfer purchases to my ipod library, (the playlists on the ipod were originally synced from this computer and are the playlists that i cant find when i open itunes on my computer), I am scared to transfer the purchases because these items on my ipod came from the library it now wants to transfer to.
Any help is appreciated.

You are looking at the Store drop-down menu at the top of iTunes (on a PC with iTunes 11 press alt-S and the Store drop-down should appear) ? e.g.

Do you mean you can't stream movies etc. You can only play media over Airplay, you can't share data from other apps.

Cant put "purchased" songs on "iPOD"

Im sure its just because of this new version of iTunes I can remeber several updates where one was messed up and giving various errors. I think it was 6.2 to 6.5 and then a week later an update came out and fixed it.
I was using 7.0.2 and it was working fine. I recently purchased "korn unplugged" and "sevendust alpha" Now I can not manually move the songs to my iPOD.
I tried moving from one playlist to the other and that odly put the songs in the playlist on the iPod but the song count didnt go up and the songs didnt appear under IPOD>Music. When i click on the songs in the playlist i get an exclaimation point on the left like it cant find the file. Oddly enough the songs plays fine in iTunes, they just don't transfer to the iPod.
I deleted a song on the iPod, reset it and tested it, the song was not a newly purchased song and it went right on to the iPOD so i tried a "korn unplugged" song. Same thing happens, same results, cant transfer one of my newly downloaded songs.
Updated to 7.1.1 (which installed fine), but....same thing, old songs transfer fine new songs wouldnt transfer. My software for the iPOD is 2.3 and that is the latest version. I reloaded the software and that made no difference.
I know the 5 Rs and the hidden folder fixes, those didnt do anything.
I have never had a problem with my iPOD, but cant seem to quit having problems with iTunes and purchased music. All those filters to keep the RIAA happy are really messing stuff up, authorizing, protected aac's are annoying, they never used to be 'this annoying'
I have come to the conclusion this is another bad update for iTunes and next week there will be a fix. But if someone can persude me otherwise, im all ears.

my computer was stolen. The i-tunes acct my i-pod was registered to was on this computer. Why cant i transfer my purchases from my i-pod on to my new computer i-tunes acct?

Makes sure that the new computer is authorized, "Store>Authorize This Computer", then plug your iPod, "File>Transfer Purchases from iPod".

HT4527 How do i transfer purchases

I am not able to get the "transfer purchases" option in my itunes account. I have the new updated version of itunes and it is much more confusing than the old update. I can't seem to find anything I want or need to find. (I personally do not like the new update).
Basically I am wanting to update my IPAD to the newer 5 version instead of my 4.2.1 version and it says I need to transfer purchases but I cant find that option anywhere. And Im not sure if doing a full backup will prevent me from losing my music, apps and photos.
