Cant unlock phone! Help!
Hi all! Does anyone happen to know Verizon default pin code? My 4 year old was playing with my brand new S5 and apparently the phone locked on her. So instead of asking me to do pattern she must have tried to do it herself. Which in turn locked my phone! I already tried the pin I entered just in case I forgot my pattern. That's not the pin. I think she may have even attempted that too lol that's only thing I can think. My phone will reset after 2 more failed attempts. I've tried the pin I chose a couple times, last 4 of phone, 1111, 1234, 0000. Please help! I JUST started my service today! Not a good beginning lol
I do not have Android, but I have heard it will ask you to enter Google account credentials. Maybe someone else can way in to confirm.

partner smashed her screen trying to get stuff of it but she ahs a screen lock so it wont connect to itunes how can i get around this please help
You can't unforunately; if iTunes won't detect the device the /BEST/ thing you can do on a windows computer is go to the Start Menu > Computers > and check to see if the windows computer had detected the device as a camera, if yes; Lucky you, If no; you're outta luck

Someone else has put a password on my phone. I have read all the restoring or backing up methods but when I go to do those it says to turn off find my iPhone in my setting. If I cant unlock my phone I obviously can't turn this off. Help
If you have a lock code, how did someone change the apple ID for "find my phone?" You should go by the apple store and let them help you.

Hello there, i have an i Phone 3GS which was locked on the network Orange from U.K i finished the contract last year, but some how i cant unlock it to be able to use on a different network. tried to restore it on itunes but it says unable to process at this time.
under UK legislation, if your are out of contract (and not owing the carrier any debts!) they are LEGALLY obliged to unlock you, and within a certain number of (few) days.. search OFCOM for the regulations.
That said, they are also entittled to charge you for this (usually about £20!)
I believe, that this can also be done via an APPLE STORE, but the first option is always the Origional Network carrier.
Orange has a terrible repuation now for customer service (which is just one reason they changed their name to EE!, and yes, this is fact which is why they came Bottom in several recent customer satisfaction surveys.. so they are not going to rush to help you leave them are they..) -
Had trouble receiving texts, I did an IOS update, it lost everything on my phone. I had it synced to the computer it synced to my sister's iphone data and now I cant unlock my phone or do anything. I am receiving texts from her contacts meant for her!

A few months back I Dropped my iPhone 4 and I cracked my screen and now i cant unlock my phone due to touch screen not working plus there are blurred lines across the screen and I can't see anything that it displays.
Now when I try too connect my iPhone 4 to iTunes on my computer at home an error message comes up saying that I have to unlock my iPhone 4 for it to communicate to my device.
But the problem is that I can't unlock my iPhone 4 because I'm unable to see the key pad and my touch screen no longer responds when I touch it.
I just want to reset my iPhone 4 back to its Factory Settings & start all over from the beginning.
How can I unlock my iPhone 4 with iTunes on my computer or any other option you suggest me trying.

If Verizon return it to Apple it wil not be handled by Apple
If Verizon also use unauthorised repairers you may be lucky

Bought my iPhone 4 from Dubai even though it's a factory unlocked phone I don't have a FaceTime button in setting so I'm wondering is there anyway I can get the FaceTime with out jail breaking my device it's working on iOS 4.3.5 , I read so much about getting it after u jailbreak Ur phone u get FaceTime but can I get it with out jail breaking my device as I'm using it in india please reply guys
iPhones purchased in the UAE do not have FaceTime installed and FaceTime will not appear regardless of where the phone is taken.
Jailbreaking will void your warranty with Apple, may permanently render your phone unusuable, and will eliminate the possibility of getting help from Apple or its forums including this one.
If you want FaceTime on an iPhone, sell that phone and purchase one from one of the authorized iPhone dealers in India. -
When i connect to itunes, it says in itunes- Itunes could not connect to the ipad "Name" because the ipad is locked with a passcode, but ovbiously i cant unlock my ipad. HELP!!!

Oh - I see that you have that article linked to your post above. Read the entire paragraph in item #1. It tells you what to do if it is asking for a passcode. -

I'd say you have a better chance of not loosing anything if you connect to your home computer-- but it's not certain. Yeah, I'd imagine it's very frustrating. I'm surprised Apple allows these huge updates outside of iTunes.
