Cant update only certain apps, gets linked to a random apple ID that isnt mine, but checked app store and its signed in with my ID. HELP =[
Im trying to update the facebook app on my iphone 4s, but when i click update .. an apple ID that doesnt belong to me shows up and asks for the password.
Ive checked that im logged in with my own apple ID in the apps store but somehow it shows up with a different apple ID when i click update.
I only have one apple ID and therefore could not be the old / new apple ID problem and phone is completely new ...

How to delete an app ? Press and hold any of the apps and after a couple of seconds or so they should start to shake. Then press the 'x' in the left corner to delete the ones that you don't want, and when you've finished deleting press the home button so as to stop the shaking. If you don't get the 'x' on any of the apps that you've downloaded (you can't delete built-in apps) then check that Settings > General > Restrictions > Deleting Apps isn't set 'off'. Then buy and download the app with your own account.
Or how to do something else ?

At first, it can be difficult to determine which version of Numbers you are using. The user interfaces are different, but if you are new to the apps you may think you are using the new version when if fact you have launched the older version. Make sure you are using Version 3.x. Then you won't get the message that you need a newer version.
Use Spotlight to launch Numbers. After typing Numbers into the search field, pick the result that says "Numbers -- Applications".

The Early 2008 MacBook can only go up to Lion...the compatibility requirements for Mountain Lion and Mavericks are the same http://www.apple.com/osx/specs/ which says Late 2008 MacBook.

I would recommend closing all applications in multitasking and power cycling the device. Once you have done this attempt to download the application and accept the terms again.
If an app is unresponsive but the system seems to respond to button presses, you can force the app to close:
Double-click the Home button.
Swipe left or right until you have located the app you wish to close.
Swipe the app up to close it.
iOS: Force an app to close
If you are still experiencing issues, you can always download the application through iTunes on the computer. This will allow you to accept the terms through the computer.

ever since I updated my iPod software my iPod will not connect to the app store and won't let me download anything. help
Hook it up to your computer and open itunes. try to download hte apps via your computer. Every time you update hte software you have to reagree to the itunes terms of service. Sometimes it's hard to get it to come up on the device, but is easier on a computer.

Any update will cause problems for a few users. And those users will rush here and post "the sky is falling" stories about their experience. The 99.99% of people who have no problems after an update won't bother to post here; indeed, most of them don't even know ASC exists. FWIW, I had no problems with iOS 7 on my 4S. Your problem is most likely not related to iOS 6, but you should probably update anyway. After performing the OS X 10.10.2 update, OpenGL applications, for example Starry Night Pro fail to run, there are numerous windows update/refresh problems (incomplete refresh, remnants of window/frame borders), and some applications, for example Google Chrome are unusable, as cursor motion in the application window causes the display to flash horizontal bars in the window.
I've tried a variety of things, including downloading the most current release of Xcode, turning on/off transparency in Accessibility, graphics switching, and a few other things, but the problem persists.
The App Store display behaves similarly. I am running a MacBook Pro.

Update failed causing App Store and other apps to not open anymore
HELP!!
I was trying to make a general update of OS X v10.8.2 as sugested from the App Store, but something went wrong and it showed "could'nt be updated because of a problem". Now I can't open App Store, Mail and iTunes shows a message saying "This copy of iTunes is corrupted or is not installed correctly. Please reinstall iTunes". Only I can download anything anymore and the App Store won't even start!

HT201371 A "bug"?. Need touch ID only for app store and no passcode to unlock the Phone!
Hello. I have an Iphone 5S and have a doubt about the touch id. I want to use it only for getting apps from the apps or itunes store. To unlock the phone i don´t want neither touch id or passcode. Is this possible?
I´ve tried all the options available.
- if only select touch id for app store, it keeps asking me the passcode to unlock the phone
- If i turn the passcode off, it doesn´t allow me of course to use touch id anywhere...

If you're using Touch ID, it takes no longer to unlock your phone than it does to pick it up. That's the whole point. It certainl doesn't take 5 seconds. Of course, it also doesn't take 5 seconds for me to enter a 4 digit passcode.
