CANT UPDATE PAYMENT INFO WITH PREVIOUS PURCHASED!!!

hi, i wanna ask you, why i cant update apps? they said that i owe apple for previous purchased. i think that i already pay the apps. please help me! and i cant update my payment info, i cant put it to none!!!!

Not sure if this helps .. but it appears that whenever Adobe's payment processing backend has some internal issues, it puts the subscribers into some  HELL. The only way I found it to be working is - call the customer support from your country, and speak to a CSE.
The same incident happened to me this month. Subscription failed warnings, and Email alerts. I logged into my account, but could not update credit card details. When I tried adding another card, it throwed errors. So I called the local Adobe Customer support, and gone through the painful IVR thing. But at the end I was able to reach a CSE and he helped in fixing the issue.
The Solution:
Call Adobe Customer Support.

PS : It is pathetic that Adobe's payment processing is not upto the quality, and recent breaches has made the life of subscribers bad. I really love those old Retail boxes. I never had any billing issues.

    I have a subscription to Photoshop CC Photography Program. Recently changed my Credit card after the ADobe Security Fiasco and now I get an error message each time I load up Photoshop CC telling me my subscription is about to expire in XX Days. Now currently down to 3 days.

         it has been a while since we have last spoke, I would like to let you know, I am still working on getting used to the switch from windows to a Mac/Apple system. I do have a new question for you, I did purchase In Design CS5.5 through journeyed.com through Cuyahoga Community College of which I attend as a student, is there a way to purchase an online book through iTunes to learn that as well? Also, you know me, the struggling student, I would also, when and if the book can be purchased through the iTunes, would need to know if you do know of a much easier book for struggling students like myself and at a reasonable price as well for the In Design CS5.5 program. Our campus bookstore had closed early, and, so did the colleges library and our local library here where I do live, so, I cannot go to either place to purchase a book or to take out a book, plus cash funds are low at this moment as well but, I do have money left on the iTunes account to use, if it can be used. So, can it be used, the iTunes money, towards finding a low priced online book? I am in great need of assistance as I have a project due for my one course for this Tuesday, September 4, 2012.

    Every time I try to download a free app or even upgrade any of my apps for free it tells me to put my Apple ID I do that then it say there a billing problem with previous purchases.     Content is tied to the account that bought/downloaded it and it can't be copied or transferred to a different account - for apps only that account can download updates to them. So if you downloaded it via one account and then created a new account, you will need to use the original account to download updates or authorise it on your computer's iTunes.

    I think that the expiry date will be shown as asterisks, and I don't think that the security code will be re-displayed either (similarly only part of the actual card number is displayed) - just in case somebody gets access to your iTunes account then they can't see your card details. If you aren't getting any error messages when you've entered them then that implies that iTunes has accepted them as being valid.

    I can not update my payment information with my new card.  It keeps saying what I entered doesnt match my banks info.  I checked with the bank and have it in exactly like they have it but it still wont take it.

    When I go to download a free app, or update an existing one, I receive a pop up saying "sign in required" so I put in my Apple ID password.  I'm then brought to a screen titled "account settings" and with text in red saying "there was a problem with a previous purchase.  Please update your payment method". I've tried a couple cards now, and every time it either says the same thing or to contact apple support. 
    I have no idea what's wrong.  Anybody have an idea?

    The 'problem with a previous purchase' message implies that iTunes wasn't able to collect the money for your last purchase - until that is paid you won't be able to download anything else from the store, including free items, updates to apps and redownloading past purchases.
    You will have to enter payment details that are accepted by the iTunes validation, or (and if they are available in your country) redeem an iTunes gift card onto your account : Pay an unpaid balance in the iTunes Store - Apple Support

    i have just tried to update one of my free apps, and it says there was a problem with my previous purchase, it directed me to my billing information, (baring in mind this is for a free app) and i re-entered it all several times but it is still telling me that there was a problem with the previous purchase? what do i do??   • Why am I getting a "Problem With Previous Purchase" when I haven't purchased anything?

    Sometimes, quite randomly when I open anything on my iPad or iPhone and try to update an app or something of the like, iTunes asks me to verify my billing information. It gives me the reason "There was a problem with a previous purchase." And asks me to enter my security code on my debit card. When I do, even though I have plenty of money in my checking, it tells me I was declined and refuses to let me update anything.
    I don't understand where the previous purchase problem is coming from, seeing as I have made no recent purchases.
    This happens quite often and after several days of entering it again and again it will randomly work and everything will be back to normal. Later, at random, it will happen again and this whole process will repeat.
    Please help me understand why this keeps happening.
