Cant upload files to creative cloud

How do I upload files to creative cloud. When I try to upload it doesn't give me the option to open the files and upload. It says I need a folder. I thought I had a folder?

Hi Daley Planet,
if you're still experiencing this issue, can you try the steps below?

1. Quit the Creative Cloud desktop application.
2. In Terminal, copy and paste this command:
rm ~/Library/Application\ Support/Adobe/CoreSync/options.tix
3. Launch the Creative Cloud desktop application and start syncing.
WINDOWS
1. Quit the Creative Cloud desktop application.
2. Open the Start menu, and type 'cmd' in the search box, then enter to start a command prompt.
3. Copy and paste this command at the command prompt:
del %APPDATA%\Adobe\CoreSync\options.tix
4. Launch the Creative Cloud desktop application and start syncing.

  • How do I share files uploaded into the Creative Cloud with other creative cloud members?

How do I share files uploaded into the Creative Cloud with other creative cloud members?

    Should be easy.  Try this...
In Thumbnails view, click the little triangle (pointing downward) in the lower-right corner of the asset you want to share.
In the blue icon bar that appears, click the Share icon (the third icon from the left, just right of the trash icon). The Share dialog should pop up.
In the Share dialog, enter the email address of the person with whom you want to share the asset, then click the Send Email button - they'll receive an email with a link to your asset. OR
You can also copy a link to the asset and then paste that into your own email client if you prefer.  To do that, click the Link icon (looks like a "chain", and is to the right of the email "envelope" icon) - then click the Copy Link button.
Note that the Share options won't be available if your asset is set to "Private" - you can control whether an asset can be viewed (or downloaded) by others by clicking the Public/Private control (green or red "lock" icon).
You can also access the same Share controls if you click on the file to see it one-up (you can do this from either Thumbnails view or List view); click the Share icon near the upper right corner of the browser window (to the right of the asset name).
    Hope that helps.

  • I was uploading a 15 GB file to creative cloud, it's taking ages, so I decided to send it by mail. how can I stop the sincere now?

I was uploading a 15 GB file to creative cloud, it's taking ages, so I decided to send it by mail.

    The FAQ is at http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/creative-cloud-connection-faq.html#id_74925
Is there a file size limit?
With Creative Cloud Connection preview, you can upload files up to 5 GB. If you attempt to upload anything larger, you can see some unexpected errors.
With the Creative Cloud website, you can upload files up to 1 GB. If you attempt to upload anything larger, you can see some unexpected upload failures.

  • I can't download the files I uploaded to the Creative Cloud

Earlier today I uploaded some files to the Creative Cloud. I am now trying to donload them on another computer. When I click on the file in Creative Cloud all I get is a gray screen underneath the Creative Cloud header. As a result I cannot download my files. This is a frustrating problem for an already lackluster feature of Creative Cloud.

This issue should now be resolved. If you are still experiencing a problem please reply.

  • How can clients view video file that I upload to my Creative Cloud area?

How can clients view video files that I upload to my Creative Cloud area?  Is there a special password that they have to use to gain access?
    Thanks for any guidance.

As a video professional, i agree and am VERY disappointed with this policy.  I attended CC presentations at various conventions, film festivals and meetups for a year-and-a-half before I made the leap to CC, and no one EVER mentioned a restriction to transferring video files.
Whether it's to save storage space or not, that's how it APPEARS to the end user.  Anybody who knows ANYthing about how video pirates commit their crime (which it most-certainly is), knows that there are plenty of FREE, untraceable (or nearly-anonymous) resources to carry it out.  The need for anyone to pay $30 or more per-month to do it with an acct that has their info attached to it is ludicrous!  If anything it's CONTRIBUTING to piracy to encourage creatives to transfer their material to collaborative parties using a less-secure, more heavily-trafficked third-party service than the one they're paying for exclusive use for.
Adobe's policy makers need to review this restriction and remove it or provide ANOTHER reason why it exists because this one doesn't fly.  And if it continues, make sure a disclaimer gets inserted in CC pitch presentations because likely half of the attendees are working with video.

  • Downloading InDesign book files from Creative Cloud files

    Gang,
I'm working on a project that has me using the Creative Cloud files to store the changes I make. I know I'm not using all of the features, but with my own personal account on two machines and my employers site license on the other, I end up using the browser version of Creative Cloud to upload and download files on my work computer.
When I download a book file (.indb), Creative Cloud and my browser seem to get confused as to what kind of file it is. Creative Cloud asks me and doesn't have an option for InDesign Book. When it downloads, it downloads as a .octet-stream file. I later go to Finder and change the extension to indb and life is good.
Is this a bug or a feature?

  • Unable to sync files to creative cloud

I cant sync my files to creative cloud from my mac. It says syncronising is turned of, but i havent turned any thing of ?

    HI Christopher,
in order for us to understand the possible cause, would you be able to send us some log files?  I'm looking for the CoreSync.log files for the period you're referring to.
You will find the Coresync.log file here -
    Mac - /Library/Application Support/Adobe/CoreSync/CoreSync-yyyy-mm-dd.log
(On Mac, you need to use the Go To Folder option from the Go option in Finder (menu at the top).  Then in the pop up enter:
    /users/username/Library/Application Support/Adobe/CoreSync/
Then select go, this will take you to the folder containing the .log files.)
Please email the log files to [email protected] and [email protected]

  • Can I download my files from Creative Cloud?

    Hello,
An Indesign file was uploaded onto our creative cloud from another computer.
I need to access and edit that file. Am I able to download it?
    Thanks

Just to add that, I had exactly the same issue this morning, so it is certainly a more widespread problem rather than an isolated case.
For Adobe's benefit, here's a summary of what happened for me:
All cloud files automatically moved to trash on turning my computer on and auto syncing. All folders remained, but empty.
Files still existed online through the browser, in the Files section and had not been put into Archive.
When I got home to my personal Mac, the exact same situation happened as above. Though I made sure to do a backup before connecting to wifi and allowing it to sync!
Tried signing out and deleting the Creative Cloud files folder, then signing in again, hoping it would re-sync and create all my files again to match what was online, but it just created the directory of empty folders again.
Was on a call with support for an hour which was painful, with them taking control of my screen but having no idea what to do to fix it.
As with you guys, I'd like to download all my files again (not including Archive), but as a batch and not one by one online! Hopefully the sync will fix and download the lot again automatically.
Have you worked out what's wrong yet Adobe?
    Thanks

  • Uploading PSD to Creative Cloud

I am trying to upload PSD to Creative Cloud Assets as the instructions say.  When I click on the PSD logo with the plus sign, the files window pops up.  I select the Creative Cloud folder .  Then I get stuck.  If I hit the open button it says no such file. I would appreciate any advise to help me get passed this hurdle.  Thanks! Liz

What happens to my files on creative cloud folder after the end of my subscription?

Creative Cloud Help | Creative Cloud / Common Questions
"What happens to my files in the cloud if I cancel or downgrade my membership?
Your Creative Cloud files are stored on your desktop as well as on the Creative Cloud servers. If you cancel or downgrade your paid membership, you will still have access to all of the files in the Creative Cloud folder on your computer and via the Creative Cloud website.
Your account will be downgraded to a free membership, which includes 2GB of storage. If you’re using more than 2GB of storage, you will not be able to upload any new files to the cloud until the amount of online space used in your account drops below your allotted amount.
If you are over your storage limit, you have 90 days to reduce your online usage or you may lose access to some or all of your files saved on the Creative Cloud servers."

  • IPad does not let me add files from creative cloud into ps touch.

When I attempt to add a file from creative cloud into iPad ps touch I receive a connection failure message.  I have tried this on two different wifi locations.  Sync works as I can see the file I uploaded from a desktop computer into creative cloud, but I cannot go to new from creative cloud, choose a file, and click add.  It gives me a connection failure - downloading failed -image cannot be loaded.  please try again.  My desktop computers work fine on the same networks.

This is happening to me as well and the service department had me on hold for 1 hour and 10 minutes and couldn't help.
