Cant use my 5.1 Sound in vi

Hello.
i have a Creative XF-I Soundblaster Extreme music card SB0670
Ive recently Updated windows to vista and cant use the 5. sound. Iv'e downloaded the the newest drivers and then im in the Creative Console laucher i cant change my current settings for speakers i can only have 2/2. sound and cant even change to 5..
Any ideas how i can solve this problem?

Even if you select more than 2 speakers in Vista, the original source of sound will need to support the extra speakers in order to be mapped to those speakers. So playing say a MP3 on a 5. system with no processing features of the card enabled (such as CMSS-3D) will only result in sound from the front 2 speakers because that is all that are contained in the file. If you are just referring to testing the speakers in the surround sound config panel in Vista, I don't know what to suggest as it seems to work fine for me. As far as DVD's, you'll need DVD playback software that supports Dolby Digital or DTS decoding in order to get 5. sound. As far as sounds coming from the wrong speakers... I have no clue. I lost count of how many times I installed and uninstalled the Creative drivers/software in XP because of that problem. I never did figure out what it was causing it, but it hasn't happend to me yet in Vista. While researching the issue it did seem that a lot of the people with the problem were using Logitech webcams.Message Edited by jasonamd on 06-0-200706:28 PM

I have a new 5th gen ipod. For some reason in the ipod prefs in itunes I dont have any options to add video or photos the only options that I get are for music and podcasts.
I have reinstaled itunes 6.0.1 (3) about 4 times each time cleaning every file of the mac that has anthing to do with itunes.
Even though my ipod shows in my desktop and itunes list and in the system profiler under usb 2.0 I still cant seem to reformat the new ipod. When I use the restore option when I load the ipod updater it says to plug it in. Yet its clearly there.
I have also deleted the ipoddriver.kxt file as well

You can purchase the newest version of iPhoto on the Mac app store. Cost (in US dollars) is $14.99.
It sounds like you downloaded an iPhoto update to take version 9.1 up to 9.3. You can't use it with version 8.x.

If deleting then reinstalling the apps doesn't work, then contact the app developer for support.
It sounds, though, like your internet connection is simply very slow.
Try making a backup, then restoring the iPhone as new, and testing again.

Do you mean this sound card?
If yes you should read the user manual firstly. The 4in1 media card reader is only designed for flash cards like, SD card, SDHC card, etc.
This Creative sound card requires a ExpressCard slot (34 or 54).
I have checked the user manual of Satellite L450 and its not equipped with such a card slot

You have not, the OP has Lion so no disk, and you can't re-install until after you install, which hasn't happened yet.
To the OP, use BCA to download the Windows Support Software, follow the instructions to install it in Windows.

It sounds like your Personal Hotspot is not functioning. I would try the troubleshooting from this article named:

Verify that Personal Hotspot is enabled by tapping Settings > General > Cellular > Personal Hotspot.

If one connection type doesn't work, try another (for example, instead of connecting using Wi-Fi, try using USB or Bluetooth).

Reset network settings by tapping Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings.

Sounds like Netflix is only allowing the latest version to connect to their servers. There current app requires iOS 5 or later. If you have a 2nd generation Touch you will not be able to upgrade to that version.

Sounds mostly likje a bad KB, do you have another to test with?
Or...
One way to test is to Safe Boot from the HD, (holding Shift key down at bootup), run Disk Utility in Applications>Utilities, then highlight your drive, click on Repair Permissions, Test for problem in Safe Mode...
PS. Safe boot may stay on the gray radian for a long time, let it go, it's trying to repair the Hard Drive
Reboot, test again.
If it only does it in Regular Boot, then it could be some hardware problem like Video card, (Quartz is turned off in Safe Mode), or Airport, or some USB or Firewire device, or 3rd party add-on, Check System Preferences>Accounts (Users & Groups in later OSX versions)>Login Items window to see if it or something relevant is listed.
Check the System Preferences>Other Row, for 3rd party Pref Panes.
Also look in these if they exist, some are invisible...

I have the gen 3 apple TV and somehow i can no longer airplay, from my mac book pro, ipad, ipad mini or iphone. It used to work on all of my devices and now I cant see the icon.
When I open my remote app it tells me that I have to turn on Home sharing on my itunes or apple tv. It is turned on, on all of my devices.
I have been trying to trouble shoot this issue (all of my devices have the latest updates) and I still cant use my remote or air play
Any suggestions on how to fix this?

When you tried syncing, did you connect the phone, then click on the phone icon near the top left of iTunes, then click on Apps under Settings in the sidebar, then find the app in question and click the Install button beside it before clicking Sync at the bottom right?

Welcome to the Apple Community.
In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your iOS device, you need to delete the account from your iOS device first, then add it back using your updated details. (Settings > iCloud, scroll down and hit "Delete Account")
Just enter your existing details, don't try creating a new account.
