Cant view album/movie cover on this computer

Please help! after many disruptions with itunes7 and my lil baby(my ipod), i've finally got things in order and now when i try to view the available movies I see this- "album covers can not be viewed on this computer" and then it says "itunes has encountered a problem and must shut down". Has anyone else experienced this or can anyone help me?? i have a 30G

well, if any of you guys solve this issue,PLEASE let me know how you did so. This is very frustrating and i cant call apple or they are going to charge me that ridiculous $45 to talk to a "genius". I'm getting frustrated dealing with these new upgrades that, when we encounter problems, they want to charge us to fix. This discussion forum should be answered by their professionals, not by people who are looking for solutions to the same problems. I just want to scream right now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cant sync iPhone because itunes says this computer is no longer authorised

whenever i try to sync my iPhone 5s to my computer (iMac.. the older/thick one), it backs up and works fine until it starts to download music and apps. it says that it cant sync to my iPhone because the computer is no longer authorised for the purchases made on the phone, it gave me the option to authorise (which it already was) so i did, still didn't work, so i reauthorised and reauthorised a couple of times. i first started to notice the problem when i updates to IOS 8 (iTunes v12.0.1.26) so i don't know whats at fault. i have a 4th-gen ipod touch (6.1.2) that syncs without any problems. i dont know what to do anymore , i just want my new songs on my phone. is there any way i can fix this because having to carry my ipod and my phone everywhere is getting quite tedious.

Welcome to Apple Support Communities.
It sounds like you’re not able to sync your iPhone 5S with your iMac because of repeated alerts to authorize the computer. Take a look at the article linked below, it provides more information about the alert message that you’re seeing and possible resolutions.

I cant view album artwork in my itunes anymore

For some reason my itunes always says it cant veiw my album covers.
But it used to, help!

Cant view rental movie on ipad

I have an ipad 2 with OS 7.1.2. I have rented a couple of movies from itunes and cant seem to find them anywhere. When I look in "Videos" they are not there, I don't even see a category for movies or rentals. I have tried using the search feature, I've done a hard restart, I've logged out and back into iTunes. When I plug my ipad into my computer and look at the contents in iTunes there, I can see that the movies are there, but they are nowhere to be found when I look in the ipad itself.
I am leaving soon for an almost 2 day train trip, I'd really like to be able to watch the movies I paid for, someone please help!!

I understand you have rented a couple of movies from iTunes on the computer, the following information will help you sync those rentals to your iPad.
How to rent a movie from the iTunes Store on your computer

Once the rental is downloaded, you can watch it on your computer or transfer the rental to a supported iPod, iPhone, iPad, or Apple TV (1st generation):
Connect the device and select it in iTunes.
Click the Movies button.
Select the movie, and then click Move.
After all movies have been moved, click Apply in the lower-right corner of iTunes.
You must be connected to the Internet to transfer a rented movie.

Cant view .avi movie?!?

hello, i have never been able to open an ".avi" movie on my computer, and it has just finally gotten to the point where i am frusterated.
does anybody know why this is, or what i can do?
I am running quicktime 7.1.3.
When i open it it says error opening movie.

Go to version tracker and search for Mplayer OSX, it plays avi files and is free.

Perhaps you need to install the Flash player? The other two browsers are a separate concern; Internet Explorer uses the so-called ActiveX version of Flash and Chrome bundles and automatically maintains its own copy of Flash. You can easily obtain a version of Flash that works with Firefox from here:-

Cant view dowloanded movie on windows PC but have been charged.

I purchased a movie and received email notification of card being charged - I cannot locate the downloaded movie anywhere it doesnt show in itunes under purchased [ i use a windows PC not mac]. It doesnt shopw up on iph4 either.

i am sorry - i did do all of that. But I am hitting a brick wall. The closing comment after I did so said install complete and followed up by saying :
You may have installed Mac OS X software that is older than your current version of Mac OS X, and may not work properly. You should do this even if you currently have the latest Mac OS X update installed.
BUT when I check to see what version of QT I have it says 10 (not 7) even though I clicked on 7. I think I need to uninstall everything and start again. Sadly, i dont even know how to do that!

ITunes 7 cannot browse album covers on this computer error and crash

Installed iTunes 7 yesterday, and now every time I try to go to certain pages in the iTunes store, such as movies or tv shows, I get an error saying "iTunes cannot browse album covers on this computer". Then iTunes immediately crashes. Has anyone else had this problem? Any fix??

I have the same issue. Not sure if this has anything to do with it, but I was on the Cover Flow View and it was working fine. I clicked on the full screen icon and the entire screen went random (meaning totally random pixels of color all over). I pressed the escape key and the normal screen returned, but it only showed a black section where the covers had previously been. I restarted iTunes and it started giving me the same message. I also can see them in the lower left and on the Album View. Just the Cover Flow view doesn't work. I downloaded the latest iTunes today and I keep all of the Windows updates on.

I just built a new Computer and sucessfully moved my iTunes Library and music over (Windows 7, Itunes 10.3.1.55). I am getting a message on the cover flow view that states, "iTunes is unable to browse album covers on this computer". This Cover Art is showing in all other views, so it is there. I upgraded QuickTime and even install Safari. This did not work. I have a very large music collection and prefer the coverflow navigation. Any suggestions on how to fix this?

I too am having a very similar problem with cover artwork in Itunes version 10.3.1.55 for my Windows 7, 64 bit computer. Certain Artists or Albums cover art will not show up and also when I try to manually add my own cover to the album it does not save. I can however, view with the coverflow option but its useless without all the cover art. I would greatly appreciate any help with fixing this very annoying problem.
I've looked into the direct x suggestions and that doesn't seem to be the problem. Thanks anyway, Polydorus.

Cant view my albums by artwork

Hello,I have the latest version of I tunes, but cant view my library by artwork, (right hand side button) where the album covers are displayed in a circle like a jukebox. My mate can do it on his computer but on mine it just says "I Tunes is unable to browse album covers on this computer".

Start -> Control panel - Add/Remove programs.
Select QuickTime and then Repair.
