Cant view movies recorded on new iPhone iOS
updated iPhone 4S to latest version of iOS. Since then movies recorded on the iphone won't display on Quicktime Pro for Windows XP (black screen, video tracking needle moves normally, and sound plays back, but no video. . Removed QT Pro, then downloaded and reinstalled QT Pro from scratch on the Win XP pc. No success. Your topic is misleading. According to your post, you are not having issues viewing videos on your iPod. The problem is viewing the videos on your desktop using Quicktime. You will be better off posting in the QuickTime for Windows forum.

I have a third generation apple TV and it works great with renting movies and streaming from my computer's library. However, it is extremely slow uploading movies recorded on my Iphone 4S. It doesn't matter if my Iphone 4s movie is streaming from my computer's library or directly from my phone it takes several minutes to buffer just a 1 minute video clip. Clandherr, I'm having the same issue. Streaming a 1:43 video I recorded from my Iphone 4S took 10 minutes to Airplay onto my Apple TV 3G. I've also experienced lag when it comes to YouTube and Vevo videos. I've checked my Network Configuration on my Apple TV and I've got a great signal and I'm using the Apple Extreme as a wireless router with 5Mhz speed. My internet speed is super fast as well. Not sure what the heck is going on.

hey Im having trouble transfering the videos that i recorded using my new ipod nano I turned the ipod to enable disk use and i can see where the movie is on the ipod and i can drag it onto my desktop , BUT when i try to view the video using quicktime the video looks all green and fuzzy and u can only hear the audio of the video but u dont see any picture other than green and fuzzy wierd on the quicktime screen???!??!?!??!?! i can view the videos fine using the ipod but i cant view them on my pc ??? can someone help me? and is anyone else having this problem??

Problem viewing photos after restoring new iPhone 6
Got a new iPhone 6 yesterday. Followed the basic steps to duplicating my old 5 to the 6 and synced perfectly. However, when I went to view my photos, I noticed that nearly all of them were blank/white. The phone recognized that there were photos but would not show them or load them. Can I get some help on how to get my photos to show? I also have iCloud Library Sharing turned on.

After reading your post, it sounds like you are experiencing an error with the Camera app on your iPhone. You may want to consider restarting the device first, and then resetting if that does not work. This article provides detailed instructions for Restarting, and Reseting:
Turn your iOS device off and on (restart) and reset
How to restart
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button on the top of your device until the red slider appears. Then drag the slider to turn your device completely off.
After the device turns off, press and hold the Sleep/Wake button again until you see the Apple logo.
How to reset
You should reset your device as a last resort and only if you can't restart it.
To reset, press and hold both the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons for at least 10 seconds, until you see the Apple logo.

Why can't I get my contacts to move to my new iphone
I am having trouble with moving all of my contacts to my new iPhone. I am hardwiring the IP5 to my MBA using iTunes and checked the correct box. I moved all of my checked music and bookmarks but no contacts. Is there something I'm overlooking?
The answer to the iCloud question is no. I do not sync to iCloud because I use my phone for business and my iPad for pleasure. I only sync my phone through my MBA so I can control my sync'd files so that I don't have a lot of personal junk on my phone. My music transfered and my essential bookmarks but nothing else.
The second question is that I do not use Exchange. -

I have noticed that my iphone 3GS app store crashes when trying to view "purchased" apps. I never had that problem since i updated to IO6. Now I have updated ot IO6.1 and still have the problem. Need Help. Never could view movie on my new Apple TV
Christmas gift of Apple TV has been very disappointing. It appears our DSL Download spead is less than desireable for an Apple TV, however I started downloaded a movie - waiting 6 hours and went to bed. The first thing to check would be your internet download speed, you can do this at www.speedtest.net.
HD movies require a recommended speed of 6 Mbps, while SD movies require a recommended speed of 2.5 Mbps.
Netflix uses an adaptive format, i.e. it varies it's quality according to connection speed and can go as low as 0.5 Mbps, although it won't look too good.
You have two options:
You can download to iTunes on your computer, it likely won't download any quicker, but it will stay there and so don't need to worry about stopping the movie in the middle (movies downloaded to the computer will need to be fully downloaded before they will stream to the Apple TV).
You could also switch to SD (settings > general > iTunes Store), your movies will download more quickly if you do this. -
