  • How can i delete synced photos on my ipad, when i cant view the photos on my pc

i cant view my photos on my pc, but it already synced my photos from my library and i want to remove them.

If you want to remove them all, connect your iPad to your computer via iTunes.  Once your iPad is recognized on the left side, click on the device once to open it in iTunes.  Click on Photos and uncheck Sycn All Photos and click apply and they will be removed.

  • Can I load photos from iMac onto iPad2 model A1395?

Can I load photos from iMac onto iPad2 model A1395?  The model A1395 is described as "wi-fi only" and has a 30 pin connector for charging.
[By contrast, this is NOT the iPad2 model A1396, which is described as "Wi-Fi/GMS/GPS AT&T" or the Model A1397, which is described as "Wi-Fi/CDMA/GPS Verizon". Nor is it the model A1337, described as "Wi-Fi/3G/GPS (Original)".]
Wi-Fi only seems to me to have an ominous ring to it.  I am synching with my iPhone through the iCloud, if that is of any use.
In addition, I should note that the photo files I want to look at in the iPad are large files, a little over 100 MB in JPEG format.  The desire is to display the whole image (these are archival photos of heirloom quilts) and then be able to focus in on specific details (by enlrging them so that the stitching and other details can be seen).  I mention this because I tthink there may be some 30 MB limit on the size of a file that the iPAD can handle.  Would I be able to examine a larger file (but perhaps npot as large as 100 MB) if I had 64 MB memory in the iPad?

WiFi only refers to the fact that the iPad connects to the Internet via WiFi because it does not have cellular capability. That has nothing to do with the ability to put photos on the device.
Sync the photos from the Mac via iTunes.
Connect the iPad to the Mac and launch iTunes.
Click on the iPad name on the left side under devices.
Click on the Photos Tab on the right.
Select the folder from which your photos are located in the Sync Photos From Heading. If you use iPhoto - select that or navigate to the specific photos folder on the Mac.
If you use iPhoto, select all of the albums, or events that you want to sync. If you use another photos folder, you can select one level of sub folders within that main folder.
Click on Apply in the lower right corner of iTunes
Having 64GB of storage also has nothing to do with the ability to view the photos on the iPad since that refers to storage capacity. However, the larger the storage capacity, the more photos the iPad will be able to hold.
I know of no limit on the size that a photo needs to be in order to be viewable on the iPad.
If you use iCloud, you can sync photos that you shoot on the iPd and iPhone across devices via Photo Stream, but it just be turned on for this to work. Settings>iCloud>Photo Stream on. Any photos that you take on one device after photo stream is turned on, will sync to the other device.

You can transfer photos outside of iTunes. I do it all the time. THat said, i have a 50/50 success rate with them. I'd avoid sandisk and kingston, their bundled software triggers the 'too much power' warning.
I've had mixed luck with lexar, some work, some don't.
I did have good luck with an older 4 gig geek squad one.
Look for drives without software on them, without bright LED lights and I haven't gotten any larger than 4 gig to work, but that may just be me.
For a less troublesome way? h onestly, I use a SD card that I've formatted with the DCIM folder. I've never had one of them trigger the 'too much power' warning. Just make sure they're not SDXC. those don't work.

  • Transfered photos from IMac with Iphoto 9 to a mac book with Iphoto 11 now Iphoto 09 errors out saying "You can't open your current photo library using this version of iPhoto."

Transfered photos from IMac with Iphoto 9 to a mac book with Iphoto 11 now Iphoto 09 errors out saying "You can’t open your current photo library using this version of iPhoto. You have made changes to your photo library using a newer version of iPhoto. Please quit and use the latest version of iPhoto."  We have not updated or changed anything on the IMac all we did is transfer photos. Any help would be appreciated.

LarryHN is correct. The only way this message occurs is if the iPhoto Library database is upgraded to a newer version.
You could try holding SHIFT-OPT-COMMAND when launching iPhoto from the dock and checking only "Rebuild the iPhoto Library Database from automatic backup" and hope it restores the previous database prior to the upgrade.
If that doesn't work, you can install iPhoto '11 on your iPhoto '09 computer. If I understood the iPhoto '11 Mac App License agreeement correctly, you can install it on any personal, non-commerical computer you own running 10.5, 10.6 and 10.7.

  • I cant view my photos.

i cant view my photos. i can see them on small thumnails but i cannot click to view. it shows an exclamation mark????

What version of the OS and of iPhoto '08? What has changed since it worked? where is your iPhoto library located? If on an external disk what format is it (hint it must be Mac OS extended (journaled)  ). Have you "cleaned up your Mac using any software - like CleanMyMac2 or MacKeeper or others (Hint - do not run clean up software - it is not needed and often causes major problems)
If you have not cleaned up your Mac backup your iPhoto library and launch iPhoto while holding down the option and command keys until the first aid window appears - repair permissions and if needed repeat and rebuild your database

  • Cant delete recurring event from iMac to Macbook Air

I Cant delete recurring event from iMac to Macbook Air.
I have an event scheduled for Wednesday each week, I delete it at end of day. If i delete it on my Macbook Air it deletes fine on my iMac just fine. But if i delete it on my iMac first it stays on my Macbook Air...
I check the preferences and both computers are configured the same way..
It use to work before i upgraded both computers to Yosemite...

Yes and no. AirDrop is used to send a file from one computer to another. A Contact isn't a file so AirDrop isn't the best way to move contacts from one computer to another. If you own both an iMac and MBA and want to keep the two computers synced, the easiest way is to create an iCloud account on both computers. Any calendar event, to do, contact, or note you create on one will sync to the other. If you just bought a MBA and want to move data to it from your iMac you should use Apple's migration assistant. Personally I think the easiest way to migrate is to perform a backup of the old computer to a USB external drive using TimeMachine and then connect the TimeMachine to the new computer and use Migration Assistant.
But can you exchange contacts using AirDrop? Yes. Select the contact(s) you want to transfer, export them as vcards to a temporary folder. Then AirDrop the folder to your MBA. Now run Contacts and then drag the vcards onto the Contacts program icon in the Dock.

  • I cant export my photos from my mac to my ipad , bluetooth wont      se

i cant export my photos from my mac - osx - 10.6.8 to my ipad air , bluetooth wont recognise it

That's because Bluetooth is not supported out of the box for the transfer of photos to the iPad from your Mac. There are third party apps that let you transfer over WiFi or Bluetooth. I use this one. There are others in the App Store that you can check out.

You can also sync photos from the Mac to the iPad using iTunes.

  • I am unable to view ATV settings from iMac using AirPort utility

I am unable to view ATV settings from iMac using AirPort utility. Having problems with ATV quitting Airplay since recently updating.

I was interested to know if I could configure, or at least view the settings of my ATV from a Mac computer. This is because I have it connected to a projector rather than a HD TV and so it is not always convenient to view settings directly from the ATV display.
Anyway I tried finding it using Airport Utility and it does not show up (Mavericks running Airport Utility 6.3.2 on one iMac and Snow Leopard running 5.6.1 on another).
When I click on File>Connect Other it asks for an IP address and password. I doubt if knowing these would allow me to connect.
The ability view settings and configure ATV from Airport Utility would be a useful feature. We should suggest this to Apple via feedback:

  • I cant print a photo from computer.

I cant print a photo from computer. I can print a photo if I send it to the printer via my computer. The touch screen dont give me a choice of to get photo from computer. Only scan from glass or memory card....Not computer

What printer model?  Printers generally do not have the capability to access computer's hard drives to access pictures or other files.  You can print from the computer or you could load pictures from the computer to a camera card inserted in the printer nad then print the pictures from the card.

  • Transfer photos from iMac to iPad

Hi Guys - can someone tell me an easier way to transfer photos from iMac to iPad.
Perhaps I've misunderstood, but this is the process I currently go through
create folder called "iPad photos" on desktop
create event called "iPad transfer" on iphoto
copy and paste items from iPhoto to desktop folder
when complete, drag photos from desktop to iphoto
then move the resultant "untitled event" to merge with "iPad transfer"
sync iPad with ONLY "iPad transfer"
This works. However, I've then got exactly TWICE the number of digital photos in iPhoto !
I have the originals, and then the duplicates imported BACK into the iPad transfer folder - so obviously I'm using up valuable memory.
Can someone suggest a simpler more efficient way ?
    Many thanks.

I'm guessing that you are going through all of those steps because you have photos in a number of different events that you want to copy to the iPad and that those events also include photos that you don't want to go to the iPad?
    Two options to consider:
    1) Create an Event for photos that you want to move to the iPad and move all of the photos from where they currently are into that Event. This has the advantage of grouping all of the photos into one Event but the disadvantage that they are no longer in the Event where you may have wanted them for other reasons.
    2) What I do. Use the iPhoto "Album" feature. A photo inside iPhoto can be in one Event and in one or more Albums without occupying any more space. Create an Album (iPhoto File menu New Album) and name it something like "iPad Photos". If you desire you can create additional Albums and drag them onto the main Album to create sub-albums one level deep for better organization. Then simply drag photos from Events to the desired Album and they will be in both places. Then when you sync, select the Album (e.g. "iPad Photos") to sync.
