Cant view/open messages on my PC Suite!

Hi PC suite experts:
need your expertise on this one
Im not able to open or view any messages on my PC suite--after two PC suite updates and one phone firmware update along with numerous PC suite Cleaning and Reinstalling
I can open the contact and calender page, but whenever i switch to the messages, window will display a communication center error for window to report, and it will close up the communication window
makes it hard to manage my messages using PC suite
Can anyone provide insight knowledges to help me solve this problems??
I currently have an E66 RM-343 with 300.21.012 firmware
PC Suite is 7.1.30.9, with connectivity package at 9.23.3.0
Im running Window XP version 2002 service pack 3
the error message display shows:

Hi all,
I am using Nokia 6680. I was using PC Suite 6.5 previously and i cant read my sms messages from the PC browser, nor the PC Suite.
I follow the advice from this forum to upgrade to PC Suite 6.84, and i still cant read sms messages from my PC. does anyone have antidote to this problem?

Cant view video message after skype vanished

hi there, im very confused. i sent a video message to a contact i send videomessages to all the time with no problems. but today when i logged on to my laptop, the skype rpogram had vanished from my computer. its wasnt anywhere even in my programs list. i reinstalled the latest version , no problem. restarted my computer no problem. sent a video message no problem. but when i recieved a video message i cant view it. please view print screen. please help.
also could i download this video? so i could view it offline? would that work. can you resend video messages? im very confused.

Please, run the DirectX diagnostics tool (32-bit version).
Go to Windows Start and in the Run box type dxdiag.exe and press the OK button. This will start the DirectX diagnostics program. Run this diagnostics and save the results to a file. Please, attach this file to your post.
Be aware that you will have to zip this file before attaching it here.

Cant view video message

Hi,
A friend of mine sent me a video message but when i click it.It shows an error "Oops something went wrong.Please try again or get in touch if you need help".What should i do to view the video?
I can see the small preview of the video in the box but when i click the play button on it.It tries to load and pops up the above error.
I use the version Skype 6.21.73.104 and i constantly keep updating my skype whenever necessary but it still pops up some or the other errors.Please help.

I cant view my messages using pc suite. As soon as i press on Messages, it shows connection to mobile lost. Cant see the messages in my pc. Want to save my messages and do a format.Pls help.!

You lose the connection to the communication centre? I'm not updated on pc suite these days, but couldn't you try backing up your messages using content copier?

i'm been using PC suite 6.85.14 from past 3 months.. everything works fine, recently new update to ver 6.86.9.0.
i start having problem reading & Send text message from PC suite. the rest just working fine. i can backup, view contacts, sync calendar & contacts.
i was thought it was because the new version might have some bug, i uninstalled this new version, cable driver, pc connectivity solution and install back ver 6.85.14.
same thing happen with error message "unable to read text message from phone", when i press new sms button, on top showing "Text message editor - no phone connected" but it is connected. i can do other things..
anyone know what is the problem??

Try closing the Mail app completely and see if it works properly when you re-open the app : from the home screen (i.e. not with the Mail app 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the Mail app to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
If that doesn't work also do a reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

And excactly on what system? Sounds like the "illegal seek" message on Mac. If so, download again using another browser.

If you cannot view Video messages, make sure you are running the latest version of Skype (6.5). If running Windows you will need to be running Windows 7 or higher.

I had the same problem a year ago when I did an iOS upgrade. Now if I receive an important photo I save it to the Camera Roll
No way I know of to retrieve them unless you have a very recent backup to restore from maybe?

Hi, I just now installed Thunderbird 24.3 and am using Thunderbird for the first time ever. From having had Outlook Express before, I am used to the app opening to my full list of mail boxes (Inbox, Sent, Car, Cat, etc.) upon clicking the app's program icon. In TB, however, I am instead finding that TB opens showing the *latest e-mail message I had opened* -- no list of mail boxes. I end up having to click the upper left arrow in TB numerous times until I can no longer click leftward any more, at which point the tab appears that names the latest e-mail message that I had opened previously, at which time I can then *click* on that tab, which magically opens the list of my e-mail boxes that I wanted to show in the first place. I would like avoiding this rigamarole in the future. Thanks for any insights.

One reason I chose to go with Thunderbird when I changed from an XP PC to Windows 7 (besides TB being free) was the clearly written support and easy forum posting method I saw online. This continues to hold true -- Still so glad I chose Thunderbird! Thanks again.

Can't open/view Text messages

I click on a contact to read my new message(s) and my screen turns white and says "loading" and it never actually loads and shows me the new message. This happened out of nowhere tonight (nothing happened to the phone tonight) and I can still view emails and browse online. I can also still compose a text message and send it successfully. I have tried restarting the phone, I have tried shutting it off completely, cleaning it and putting it back together and trying again, but nothing is working. Please HELP.....this is driving me crazy!

I can certainly understand how important is it to be able to read your text messages! In this day and age texting has grown to outpace phone calls on cellular devices. Have you checked how much available device memory you have on the Incredible 2? If not then I would recommend making more memory available by performing the steps below:
Delete any long threaded messages from the text message inbox.
Clearing data and clearing cache on commonly used apps.
Move pictures and videos to the memory card.
Uninstall any unused apps downloaded from the Market.
Remove any anti-virus apps or task managers.
Delete any widgets that's not being used from the main screens to free up RAM.
Remove any live wallpaper from the background.
Manually stop unnecessary or unused services in settings.
Delete any 3rd party messaging apps from the device.
Once you have done the step above then retry your text to see if you are able to read the message. Also, test to see if you are able to read new text messages, just in case there is an issue with the one message that you received. If you are still unable to view the messages on your incoming text then the next step is a factory reset. I have provided a link below on how to complete a factory reset on the Droid Incredible 2.

As always, I recommend that you verify that your contacts and calendar entries are backed up on your Gmail account. You also have backup assistant to use for archiving your contacts. Once this reset has been complete then the device would need to be reactivated. This is a fairly simple process as there is a tutorial that walks you through the process. After the device is reactivated and setup, please test all voice and data services then test your incoming text messages. If you continue to have this issue then please reply to this message with your findings so I can further assist.

Can't see sms messages on Nokia PC Suite 7.1.30.9 ...

I am trying to access my text messages using the PC suite. At the moment, i am able to see only mms messages, however the sms messages are not displaying. i have tried to play with the options in the software but am unable to view them. Upon opening the pc suite, i am able to see that ther are about 2000 messages on the phone, but later it changes to 71 and only shows me my mms messages. Can anyone help?
