Cant view the page after upload!
hi
i recently did a design in catalyst.
from the tutorials i watched they always say "you have to upload all the files". when i upload them i get the error message frow the browser "directory listing denied".
why do i get an error like this, how can i solve this do ou guys have any ideas?

Good to hear you have this fixed. Sounds like this has to do with the default page name on server where you are posting the files?
There are three commonly used default page names that you can use on most Web servers:
index.html
index.htm
default.htm (on some Windows servers)
It's a good idea to stick with index.html or index.htm on most servers, as default.htm is most often used on Windows servers, and isn't as common as it used to be. Take a look at this thread for more on renaming.

The page content is moved to left about 40%. But there is no horizontal scroll bar below the browser so its impossible to see the content on the right side of the page. I think its a bug.
@James - So is Flash Firefox's Achilles' Heel? It's a bit disappointing if Safari and Chrome could run PS.com without a problem. I was hoping it was a setting I could change or tweak to make everything flawless again. I really don't want to migrate to another browser.... :(

I have purchased the "Sky Sports TV" app but since my satellite subscription have been cancelled I cant view the channels anymore. I am unsure why I am paying a monthly fee of £4.99 if this does not entitle me to watch Sky Sports, as there is no other functionality in the app other than watching tv channels ( which I cant do currently)

In application express under object browser i cant view the list of tables

In the application Express workspace when i click on Object Browser, we have a list of existing tables which displays. But cant view the table list now. could you please help. I can retrieve the data from the table in the region. I dont know how it got hidden.

Others cant view my pages (using: TOMCAT 4.1.24 server)
I create pages.. JSP and regular HTML pages but when i give someone over the internet my IP address to view it the get error. However when i use my ip address instead of http://localhost:8080 i can view the pages. What is the problem???

not sure, but dialup isps don't usually permit in coming http requests. I can't tell right now, I'm behind a firewall myself. -

Safari cant open the page because its not connected to the internet
iPhone 3g connected to my wifi at home just fine for first 3 weeks, now wont connect and getting error message "safari cant open the page because its not connected to the internet" Signal strength is excellent, other wireless devices are connecting fine.
Ive reset network settings, modem and router but still getting error messages.Hey man, I have this same problem and it all started with 2.0.2. This is the worst update Apple could have given us. I love Apple products, and I loved my iPhone 3G until this update. I think 2.0.2 has caused more bugs than it claims to have fixed. Safari doesn't work anymore (3G or WI-FI) and I can barely pick up 3G unless I'm outside or near a window (whereas before 2.0.2 I could get 3G even in the underground tunnels of my university campus). My iPhone is no fun anymore and actually pointless, I might as well revert back to my original RAZR v.3, at least that thing worked as it was designed to.
I hope Apple issues a new update that just cancels out 2.0.2 and reverts back to 2.0.1....that one worked absolutely fine (at least I got no crashes of any kind with that version). -

Ive been trying to open research articles through google scholar, when i click to open the page it doesnt load and comes up with Safari cant open the page, too many redirect occured trying to open (then the web address). This might occur if you open a page that is redirected to open another page which is then redirected to open the original page.
This also happens when i access the databases through my universitys library web page - and it still wont let me load even the actual webpage let along particular article.
This is happening on my ipad as well - but this is not happening on my iphone or on my other lap top which is not an APPLE.
i know its not my internet as i used the same internet on the other comp and i also used it as wifi and without out wifi on my iphone.
PLEASE HELP! i need to study!!

Empty Caches
Safari > Preference > Advanced
Checkmark the box for "Show Develop menu in menu bar".
Develop menu will appear in the Safari menu bar.
Click Develop and select "Empty Caches" from the dropdown.
Remove website data.
Safari > Preferences > Privacy > "Remove All Website Data".

How can I get my iPhone 4 to update my updates from my app store of it keeps telling me error 3150 or it tell me to refresh the page after updates and the updates are still there asking me to update them again?
Make sure iTunes on the computer is logged into the account on the phone.
Plug the iPhone in.
In the popup window warning about wiping your phone, hit cancel.
In the left pane of iTunes, the phone icon should be there.
Right click on it, select transfer purchases.
Note: this will only transfer music bought from iTunes. Not mp3's from amazon or ripped from CD's. -
What does the red text mean when I view the Page Source of a page I am developing?
I am using Dreamweaver 8 to develop a simple web page. When I view the source code in Firefox, it marks mistakes (i think) in red text, like if i forgot to close some code. However, it also marks all the /'s red that Dreamweaver puts before closing a section of code. You can see my page at acoustiyah.com. View the page source in Firefox and you'll see what I mean. I can code this by hand without those slashes, but do I need to do that? Why are those forward slashes red?

So those slashes will not cause a problem in Google search rankings or something like that? There must be some reason that Firefox doesn't like them, right? Or is it just because the Firefox dictionary isn't expanded enough yet?

Are you seeing any error message or notification ? <br />If so what ?
If the page fails to load try clearing Reloading with the Ctrl F5 shortcut to force loading without the old new cached files. If that does not help try cache and clearing cookies for that site.
