Cant view video on the internet

when i go to a site and it has video, I see a Q with a ? over top of it. why cant I view these videos

I went to youtube.com and viewed a number of videos with no problems. They are using the Flasplayer 8 internet plugin which came standard as a Universal binary on your new iMac.
Have you downloaded and installed anything to do with Flashplayer since you got you Mac? If so, you probably installed the PPC version of Flashplayer that overwrote the Universal version.

Can not view video over the Internet on WVC80N

I set up the web cam, set up the port forward etc so now I am able to:
   1. view/change web cam settings inside my home network.
   2. view video inside my home network.
   3. view/change web cam settings over the Internet.
But I am not able to view video over Internet. Every time I did so (using IE browser), after clicking the view video button, I got an error : There are too many user connections or the device is busy, please try again latter.
Anyone has a fix on this? I set up port forwarding on port 1024 (that's how I can chage settings over Internet).
I spent 2 hours on the phone with Linksys tech support but they could not find the reason.

Who is your ISP? How you are trying to access your Camera from the remote location? Along with Port 1024 you need to do port forwarding for port 80 on your router for the Cameras IP address. As WVC80N works on your HTTP Port.
To access your camera from the Remote location, you need to use http://wan ip:80.

Cant view video on the canvas properly

Hey, i have been editing on FCP, and when I put clips pn the timeline, I cant see them on the "fit to window" mode. The video blows up and I can´t view the whole image.
How do I fix this?

DVCPRO doesn't mean anything. HD sequence doesn't mean anything either. If you can't be bothered to actually check the item properties and give exact information I can't help you.

Cant view videos in the event browser

Normally, when you import a videofile into FCPX, and it appears in the Event, you can move over the clip with the mouse and it shows you the clip.
without changing any preferences from one day to another its not possible to do it..when i move the mouse over the clip, nothing happens..
when i click on it and drag the part i want, it works..
if anyone had the same problem it would be nice to hear any soloutions..

You may have accidentally turned skimming off. The keyboard shortcut is just the letter "s", so it is quite easy to hit by accident if, for instance, you were expecting to type something but the text box did not have focus.

Can't see video on the internet?

What software am I missing that I can't view video on the internet? I've tried downloading windows media player, and now I don't see anything, nor while on the internet do I get a message as to what is needed. Please help this non-tech person!

First welcome to the discussions.
There are 4 Players that are used by developers depending on the Media they choose to include on there site.
(Realplayer)(Quicktime)(Macromedia)(Windows Media Player).
You may also need to check to see if you have the latest JAVA Update. Go to your Apple and then click on Software Update. Please be sure to read through this link before you do anything.

not sure about your expectations but no ios device ever supported getting an mp3 file from other sources then itunes store or itunes on your computer

I hope you are referring to Flash Player and you have installed it successfully. Ideally, you should be able to view Flash videos available in Internet.
Do you have any issues in viewing videos?
If so, please let us know your operating system (Windows XP, 7 or Mac) and the browser you use (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari).

Adobe Flash player enables you to view Videos but not download them to the local drive. You need to use other non-adobe softwares for that.
If you are facing issues watching the videos due to flash player not installed then you have to tell me the OS and browser you are using.

Youtube works on Blackberry, tested and proofed.
I am using a Pearl as well and running v4.5 handheld software, how about you? Go to Options > About.
If someone give you helpful hints, please click on Kudos.

The "restore disk" is built into the Mac. See About Recovery.
Need more specifics about what error messages you got while installing Adobe Flash.
However, you can almost avoid Flash altogether by setting YouTube to play the HTML5 version instead.
Click the Try something new! link at the bottom of the YouTube page.
I don't know about the sound issue. Might be hardware as you think. Try other headphones to check.
