Now to answer your question, have you checked that you have all your settings for access point and data access correct with your network carrier? and have you tried going to http://m.youtube.com and does it play videos there? Or have you tried a dedicated app from the Nokia Store such as cuteTube and does that play videos?

Hello, ive recently just got Nokia 500, i've updated all the upgrades and everything, now i want to watch videos online, but i cant, there is like a "Flash Player" sign on the top left corner, this is strange because i cant watch videos on youtube.

Can't watch anything online that requires a login into verizon.

Ok so basically if I try to watch anything for instance

It asks me to login to Verizon, I do. Then it tells me "To watch videos, you will need to subscribe to FiOS TV."
Well I already have FIOS TV as is pretty obvious if you look at my acount.
Also half the time I get Java oracle server errors or just any kind of random error.
Why is this happening, can you please check your servers or whatever is broken on your end.

When you do a live chat - I would just ask them like this "Hi, I am trying to use the FiOS TV online website, and any show and any network I click on does not like my log in credentials. can you check to see what I should be using? Today I am using the following username _______" thanks

HT202213 why did the homeshare icon interupt netflics tv and now I cant watch anything

I dont understand why this homesharing icon service just showed up and now I cant get past it choices state either homeshare or settings? I was watching a series on netflics at home where I dont have access to a computor when this occurred and now I cant see or do anything.I even unplugged our wifi and tv then plugged it all back hoping it was just a cliche.?

ITunes freezes or cant access anything online

I am using the 64 bit version.
This past week or so iTunes would stop doing any sort of online access including the store, genius, or Ping.
I used the repair option in the installer bu that didnt work so I reinstalled it. That seemed to make things worse as now it wont even open.
So I tried going back ot an older version of iTunes from about 5 months ago and that still had the same issues. Not sure what I should try next. My only other idea is copy my music folder somwhere else, unintal again and then paste the folder back. But if there is a better option I'd like to try that first.

Might be the Flash plugin causing this...
Uninstall the old then reinstall new > Troubleshoot Flash Player | Mac OS
And empty your browser cache more often.

CPU Uses at Least 50% of its Power when I Watch Movies Online.

Whenever I watch anything online (be it Youtube, Hulu, etc) my computer shows that I am using at least 50% of my processing power (usually much more). This only happens when I watch something that I assume is in Flash. I could run Photoshop, Garage Band and Final Cut Pro simultaneously and not get anywhere near that number. But with only Safari open, if I am watching something online, the computer is definitely working overtime. (I get the same result in Firefox and Camino.)
I did the most recent update which I think had a Flash upgrade the problem remains. The reason it worries me so is that when the CPU's usage percentage climbs, as does the core temperature-- sometimes around 200 degrees Fahrenheit. I can't imagine it being safe to allow my computer to run at the temp for any extended period of time. Equally troublesome is the fan. If I am watching something online, the fan is running, constantly.
Has anyone else had this problem? I know there is a program that allows me to control the fans, but I'm hesitant to use it because I figure that if the fan is running, it must be needed. Any advice?

When you play a DVD, what does your CPU use go up to?
I just did a couple of tests...even though this is an older G5 it has a recent (modified) ATI graphics card, hardware accelerated and Quartz extreme enabled.
I show approx 70% (out of 200) CPU use when playing a Youtube video and 45% to 50% when playing a DVD...which points as much to Leopard's graphics routines as it does to Flash video, at least in my case.
Flash must be optimized for PC/Win because Youtube CPU use is practically nil.

I cant watch videos. Flash player is asking me to update but Firefox is blocking it.

When ever i go to watch videos on youtube or any other apps, the screen goes black. you can hear the video but you cant see anything. how do i fix this?

i have an ipod tough 3g and its like about 4 to 5 years old it works perfectly fine except the home button is abit messed up and the ipod sometimes crashes. but other than that everything is fine. so i was watching something on an app and then al of a sudden i dont see the video i can just hear it. i then think its just the app but when i go on youtube the same exact thing happens. you click to watch a video and you can hear it perfectly but you cant see anything. the screen is just black when u ONLY watch a video. this happened last night so yea.i really hope somebody can help me figure out how to fix this and whats wrongwith it:)

When it goes black do a very short press of the button on the right upper side of the phone and the screen will reappear. Make it a very short quick press.
OTOH, if you are using the speaker so you can watch the screen as you are talking when it goes dim touch the screen anywhere that it is blank and it will again go bright. On long calls you have to repeat this.
Many folks have had the same problem you described and what I have told you is the best and ONLY way around the screen going blank during a call.

After I downloaded firefox 4.1 when I go to open documents I get a "system call falied" I cant open anything help!! It is also missing off my desktop

After downloading the newest firefox every time I go to open any documents, pics etc I get a "system call failed" I cant open anything and all my icons disappeared from my desktop and were unclickable when there after this initially happened.
