Cant watch downloaded TV show

I can't watch a TV show i have downloaded if the internet is not connected. I downloaded a series and during stormy weather we turn electrical items off and i was going to watch dowloaded program on battery operated computer and a window comes up saying computer is not autherized to watch program. So i connect to internet and autherize computer, itunes says comp is already autherized. Whats going On?

If you are not able to watch TV shows from the iTunes Store on another computer, make sure you've downloaded the latest version of iTunes on that computer:

Why cant I download TV Shows and Movies

I recently purchased an iTunes $50 voucher to purchase TV Shows and movies off iTunes and I have been told that I cannot because I am not in the US. I have just wasted $50 that I could of went out and bought box sets when they came out.
I want to know why and if i can download tv shows and movies out of the US ( i am in australia), I bought a 30GB video ipod to watch the TV Shows and movies, but when I found out I am disgusted that we cant do it.

Sorry, but as has been said here many times already, the movie studios (so far only Disney and Paramount even in the US) have not licensed Apple to sell movies outside of the US. There's nothing Apple can do unless and until they're granted the rights. When, or indeed if, this will happen, no one can say, though Apple has said that they hope to be able to offer movies internationally sometime in 2007.
As to TV shows, there have been no indications if, much less when, the show owners will ever license Apple to sell them outside the US.
Again, sorry, but we'll all just have to wait and see.

What app do i need to watch downloaded tv shows

I am a ipad newbiw. I have recently dowloaed 2 shows from i tunes,. They are shown as downlaoded on my ipad but i can only watch the preview. i have sync with my pc and can watch them on that but do not seem to have an app that lets me watch them on the ipad. ???

If you've downloaded them to the iPad or synced them to it from your computer's iTunes then they should be in the Videos app :
iTunes on the iPad is just the iTunes store

ITunes quits when I try to watch downloaded TV shows

My iTunes quits each time I try to play any episode of the TV shows I've downloaded. I've rebuilt disk permissions, restarted my computer, deleted the shows and re-downloaded them - done the basic tricks that usually solve the issues my computer is confronted with. I purchased my MacBook Pro from Apple in August 2012, and haven't had any problems of this nature until today. It's not refurbished or pre-owned. I've been able to watch these shows before, and it's only today that they suddenly force quit - and, when I scroll in iTunes, there's a distortion midway down the screen. I downloaded a software update today, and I'm wondering if that could be the cause of these issues, although it wasn't an iTunes update. I'm baffled, and since I'm currently in a small European town (sans Apple store) I'm loath to use my precious phone minutes to call Apple. I wondered whether any of you have had similar problems, or tips for procedures I ought to try.

Update: I opened iTunes in Safe mode and got this message: "This movie requires QuickTime, which is not supported by this version of iTunes." I've searched past forums and have tried to open iTunes in 32-bit mode, but it still crashes when I try to play a show.

Poor reception when watching downloaded TV shows

Don't know if this is really the right place to post this, but, when I watch TV shows that I have downloaded from iTunes on my Mac, they are choppy, slow and pixilated. They kind of choke.
Any settings I can change to make viewing a little easier on the eye (and the patience?)

I am experiencing the same thing as Laurel on my Powerbook G4. Choppy playback when I enlarge the view to anything above "actual size". This wasn't happening a month ago, and I can't figure out what's going on, nor is there any troubleshooting advice that I can find for this for Mac users. It's frustrating, because it's just started this, and I would like to watch in a view that's bigger than a 3x5postcard without a bunch of jumpy frames.

Cant watch my TV show from iCloud on my iPad

I opened my video app and tapped "TV Shows," I picked my show and as I tried viewing the newest episode (by the way I bought the season pass) my iPad did not show the iCloud icon next to the episode (it does on all of my other episodes) and then said "Complete my series." Why doesnt iCloud recognize the new episode and why is it telling me to complete my series when I've already bought the entire season pass? Does having a good internet signal have anything to do with this? I have internet but the signal will go in and out quite frequently so I was just wondering.

My internet is currently working with a good signal but when i open my videos and select the tvshow tab my iCloud is recognizing all but the 3 latest episodes. I want to watch it but I dont want to download the episode from the iTunes store because I dont want to waste my free storage on my iPad. This is so frustrating, it was working perfectly two weeks ago but not right now.

Trying to watch downloaded TV shows and noo sound!!

I am trying to watch movies and 24 episodes that I downloaded on to my computer and they will play but there is nooo sound! I know for a fact all my volume buttons are up because if i try to play a song from my itunes library i hear it perfectly fine but for some reason the tv shows and movies will not work! I don't know what to do!

I have the opposite issue. I play my tv shows and movies on itunes off my computer but all I get is the audio. The picture shows up in flashes every couple of times but does not stay on. I have the most recent Itunes (7.6.1)available and am running Windows Vista. Any help available?

Yes, just double click the movie in iTunes. It will start playing in the bottom left corner of iTunes. Click on the video in the lower left corner (on the actual video that is playing) and it will open in a bigger view with a fullscreen option.

Watching movies and downloaded tv shows etc....

In order to watch downloaded TV shows or movies on my HDTV using my mac do I have to purchase apple HDTV? I bought some xtremehd cord thinking it would work... wrong! If there is a cord or something that I can purchase please tell me which one(s), any help appreciated.

Cant play Powers tv show

Hi all Yesterday I got problems with logging into PSN. That problem is gone now but it would seem that I cant watch Powers tv show anymore. When i try to watch it it says that I need to be PS plus member... but I allready am. 3 days ago I watched 5th episode without anny problems. I tryed to log off and on but it didnt help. Anyone know what I should do ?

I purchased a tv show and I sync'ed it with my ipad. Now, I cant find the tv show to watch it on my ipad. I went to the "videos" app (as suggested in other discussions) but the only thing to show up is "shared." The things that are "shared" are old music videos... not the tv shows I sync'ed or any of my other tv shows. Please help.

Using a family members iPad with my apple ID to watch a tv show I have purchased on my brothers device - get 90 day download warning - why?

I live in Texas and am visiting my family in Georgia. I didn't travel with my iPad as there are 4 at home I can use. I sign my brothers Apple ID out in the iTunes Store sign in as myself and attempt to watch a tv show I have purchased and get the for 90 days you can't download anything form iTunes to this device with a different apple ID warning. Why can't I just stream this tv show on my brothers device since I have purchased it on my device and am logged into iTunes on my brothers device with my apple ID? What a pain in the as?.

First of all would not be streaming the show on his iPad, you would be downloading a purchased item on his iPad for free. And it is something that was not purchased with his ID. It was purchased with your ID. I believe that Apple does that to prevent users from giving each other purchased content without buying it on their own. That's my take anyway.

I cant watch netflix on ipad, it wont let me download update because ipad doesnt have ios 4

When i click on the netflix app, it says to update to the latest version of the app. So when i try to download the update to the app, it tells me i cant download the app because my original ipad does not have ios 4. So now i cant watch netflix on my ipad at all?? Please help.

Hmmmm, what to do. I know.......update your software on your iPad . If you have iOS 3.x a lot has changed, and you need to connect your iPad to your computer and install the latest OS via iTunes. Downloading content to use with apple tv on television, can you download multiple shows and then watch them later or just one at a time, watch then download the next one?? If multiple downloads are possible how does one do it?

Content can be downloaded to iTunes on a computer and then streamed to the ATV via HomeSharing.
