mac book pro will not play videos...any suggestions?

Hi,
Is is YouTube videos or videos on your harddrive that won't play?
If it is YouTube, make sure adobe flash player is installed.
If it is videos on your harddrive make sure you have the correct app to play the format of video. (ex QuickTime for QuickTime videos)

1. System Preferences > Other/ Flash Player > Advanced > Delete All
     Press the "Delete All" button

I cant watch videos. Flash player is asking me to update but Firefox is blocking it.

I cant watched videos on YouTube or online stream. its says "This plugin is vulnerable and should be updated. Activate Adobe Flash." When i try to update it Firefox is blocking it for my own protection. Please help me with this problem, i have a Macbook Air.

Forget the "update now" box.
Go to: http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/distribution3.html
Get Flash Player 16.0.0.235 for Mac.
Close FF once you have download the file from Abode and begin the installation.

How to run serato video on macbook pro

Trying to run Serato video on Macbook Pro. I have the newest MBP with discrete nvidia graphics card. I cannot figure out have to run dual display. I can run mirror display, but this is nto what I want. I want to run the video part on sceond tv monitor and the serato program on the mpb screen. Thanks guys .

If you have your iPod set to Manually manage music (iTunes -> Preferences -> iPod -> Music... Manually manage music), then you need to manually manage videos as well.
Just drag and drop them onto the iPod, like you do with music files.

Now to answer your question, have you checked that you have all your settings for access point and data access correct with your network carrier? and have you tried going to http://m.youtube.com and does it play videos there? Or have you tried a dedicated app from the Nokia Store such as cuteTube and does that play videos?

It is also worth noting Internet Explorer will use different FlashPlayer plugins, even though the version numbers may correspond with those used by Firefox.

Usually firmware updates are for the hardware itself to fix things and to prepare for features of the next operating system.
You see, I have it too and I'm on 10.6.8 with a Early 2011, the reason I haven't installed it is because it's been constantly changing and causing people issues like this fellow.
EFI 2.1, then 2.2, then 2.3 and now it's 2.7? LOL
