Cant watch vidoes on the internet???

I got a pearl 8110 and i've tried to watch videos on the internet like hulu but cant watch only thing that i can watch is youtube??? Is there a flash player i have to download or what i am confused??? This is my first blackberry... Thanks

The "restore disk" is built into the Mac. See About Recovery.
Need more specifics about what error messages you got while installing Adobe Flash.
However, you can almost avoid Flash altogether by setting YouTube to play the HTML5 version instead.
Click the Try something new! link at the bottom of the YouTube page.
I don't know about the sound issue. Might be hardware as you think. Try other headphones to check.

After ios5 upgrade cant get out to the internet via wireless, it wont get past our Smart Filter (web filter)

I just upgraded my 3GS to IOS5, and now at work when i am connected to our WiFi I can no longer get out to the internet.
A little back story on how it worked prior to ios5:
I would connect via wireless, and then load Safari and type in a webpage I wanted to go to. A pop up box would come up, to authenticate me on our Web filter server (Running Smartfilter), I woudl enter my regular Active Directory username and Password and boom, i could then surf to my hearts content.
After the upgrade, I connect to the wireless, load Safari, type in the webpage i want to go to, and the progress bar moves abotu 3mm and then stops, I never get the smart filter prompt.
I have tried a full reset on the phone, forget network, reset all network settings, I even tried putting in the IP address of the smart filter box as a proxy and still it doesnt work. I have gone to smartfilters website to see if anyone else has posted there, or if there was a clue as to why it doesnt work, but nothing so far.
anyone else having this problem? any ideas?
If it wasnt broken, why would apple mess with it! a LOT of companies run smartfilter as well as other web filters. I thought apple was trying to seduce corporate customers, and so far a lot of poeple are dissapointed that they cant get to the internet.

I am having the same problem. The issue also occurs with Safari on Mac OS 10.7. I work for a school and I am sure that other schools are using smartfilter too.

Why cant I get on the internet with my 3gs?

I was using a samsung focus windows 7 phone with my simcard then my friend upgraded to an iphone 4 and I got his old 3gs to get away from the horror that is the windows phone. Now I cant get on the internet with the phone unless im on wifi but I can still make phonecalls and text with the phone. Do I have to call apple to activate with my sim or something? I was under the impression it would just work?

The lock icon is the screen rotation lock. It has nothing to do with this.
Did you inform AT&T that you have upgraded to an iPhone? The data plan must be provisioned specifically for an iPhone in order to work correctly.
If all you did was take your old sim and pop it in an iPhone, it's not going to work.

Cant view video on the internet

when i go to a site and it has video, I see a Q with a ? over top of it. why cant I view these videos

I went to youtube.com and viewed a number of videos with no problems. They are using the Flasplayer 8 internet plugin which came standard as a Universal binary on your new iMac.
Have you downloaded and installed anything to do with Flashplayer since you got you Mac? If so, you probably installed the PPC version of Flashplayer that overwrote the Universal version.

I cant download apps from the internet! WHY? AND HOW?

So I downloaded Game Maker from its official website and GTA from 4shared I guess.....after the download, when I double click on the Apps, a pop-up pops up saying "The App or whatever cant open becasue its from an unidentified developer" and beneath that is states the website I downloaded it from. I really need Game Maker! What shall I do? HELP

If you've downloaded it on your iPad then it should be in the built-in Videos app :
You should be able to watch films/tv shows that you've downloaded directly on your iPad, and/or synced from your computer's iTunes, in that app without needing to be online.

TS1398 I have a little symbol in the upper right side of my iPad that looks like a lock and now I cant get connected to the internet. Can anyone help me ( my granddaughter was playing on my iPad before this happened)

If you see a lock icon in the upper right corner of the screen - then the screen orientation is locked.
Try the side switch above the volume rocker first and see if that unlocks the screen. If that doesn't do it, double tap the home button and swipe to the right and look for the lock icon all the way to the left.
If the screen is unlocked but still will not rotate, reset the iPad.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the button
For the WiFi issue try Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings. You can also power cycle your router, Unplug it for about 30 seconds and then plug it back in.

Watching Videos on the internet

I've been using this MacBook for quite some time, over a year I'd say.. But after I managed to tinker with the video driver AND have it reinstalled because I failed miserably, I stand at a problem that is quite annoying itself.
You know those flash videos? Like the tutorials here at apple.com? So the thing is that every now and then there is a white flash of the video when it plays. Now this occurs somewhat once every 1-2 seconds, and it is really, really annoying.
My other problem is that if the video (say, an HD video) is not at the edge of the screen (like the top of the video touches the lowest part of the bookmarks tab) than it seems like a bit washed out of colours.. not much, but noticable.
I'm using Firefox 3 by the way. Do you think that switching to another browser would solve my problem? Or is there a driver you'd recommend? (note: I will NOT install anything that tinkers with system stuff if its not made by Apple.)

Never hack your system unless your prepared to do an erase install if something goes wrong or have restorable image to install.

The driver I would recommend you use is the one that came with leopard.
But as you say you have reinstalled that driver and you are getting the same results you may have done more damage to your system than you realise when you tinkered with it.
I would suggest reinstalling your system using the erase install option. If your system still shows anomalies when playing video and any other screen anomalies then run the hardware test that came with your mac to check out the integrated video of the logic board.

Cant download anything from the internet, Unknown error pops up and stops me

This is the error message that pops up when trying to download anything:
/Users/jfeiven/Downloads/ could not be opened, because an unknown error occurred.
Try saving to disk first and then opening the file.
It appears when trying to download anything.
Please help!

Take it back to the Apple store. You should not have to deal with anything on a machine that is 1 week old.

Since new version i get spambed with popups dispite restricted settings, i need help because i cant use the internet properly any more due to constant barage.

Sine the new version downloaded ive had nothing but problems, at first it was faster and smoother, then every time i clicked on something or stayed on a page for more than a few minutes it would redirect me to another page to do with a game or other spam or it would just open a new window.
Ive been an abid user of Firefox for years now and this is the first serious problem ive ever had, id really like it sorted or directions on how to restore everything back to how it was in the last version. I just cant do anything on the internet any more because of it.
