Cant watch youtube videos
i know i made a second post about this i messed up. so i cant watch any youtube videos on firefox but i can watch them on google chrome and internet explore. when i try to play a youtube video i cant cick play and the video is all black i post a screen and show you.
Guys i can watch youtube videos now its just that when i played a video the screen was black but after a while i can watch youtube videos on firefox now.

You are correct, there is no flash player on the iPhone, find an alternate browser that may be able to help your quest.

I cant watch youtube vids, listen to music from some sites or videos from FB or anywhere else. Help! I have read some of the help answers but the Flash settings change hasnt helped me. I am on tumblr, soundcloud, Fb etc and Im frustrated that I cant play music or watch videos without switching to IE or AOL. :(
First off, you are on a VERY out of date version of Firefox, which could be the problem, but is also leaving you wide open to attack from many different security holes. You first thing to do is to go to [http://www.getfirefox.com www.getfirefox.com], download the newest version to your computer and install it.
AFTER doing that, do the following:
Run all Windows Updates, install all needed service packs, etc.
Update your graphics driver (Firefox uses your graphics card for some rendering, and an out of date graphics card driver can cause problems. [[Upgrade your graphics drivers to use hardware acceleration and WebGL]]
Update all your plugins (Flash, Java, etc.): [http://www.mozilla.org/plugincheck/ http://www.mozilla.org/plugincheck/].
and finally, if you still are having trouble, reset Firefox. [[Reset Firefox – easily fix most problems]] -

A Good One Windows XPYouTube uses Flash Video.
You need to install the free Flash Player (now Adobe).
You may also need to adjust your QuickTime Control Panel MIME Settings. Under Miscellaneous remove the check mark for Flash Media.
Quit and relaunch any open browser for these changes to take effect. -

1. System Preferences > Other/ Flash Player > Advanced > Delete All
Press the "Delete All" button
Install Adobe Flash Player.

Quit Safari.
Restart computer. Relaunch Safari.
2. Enable Plug-ins
Safari > Preferences > Security
Web Content: > "Enable Plug-ins".
or
Internet Plug-ins > "Allow all other plug-ins
3. Check whether you are currently in YouTube HTML 5 trial.

At the bottom left of the page uncheck the box beside
"You are currently in the HTML5 trial".
4. Reset Safari.
Click Safari in the menu bar.
From the drop down select "Reset Safari".
Uncheck the boxes next to all items.
Check the box next to "Remove all website data".
Click "Reset".
5. Turn off Extensions, if any.
Safari > Preferences > Extensions
Now try YouTube.

Up until last week I had IE9 and was able to download and watch YouTube videos with my son and play Facebook games. Then one evening I tried to pull up a Yo Gabba Gabba video on YouTube and the video window was blank. I had watched this video the night before with him, and the only thing I can think of is there was a Flash Player update that tried to download. I saw several posts that suggested downloading a new broswer, but I waited for 3 nights thinking it was just a glitch. I finally gave up and sent a pm to one of my friends who is a Internet Service Technician. She told me to download Mozilla Firefox, which I did, and the problem seemed to be solved. I was once again able to download and watch YouTube videos, as well as play games on Facebook. And it seemed my pages, pictures, etc. all downloaded 10x faster. That worked until the next evening and suddenly I once again could not download and watch YouTube videos.
I checked my system and it found that Adobe had done an automatic update so that instead of just having Adobe Flash Player 13 Active X I now had Adobe Flash Player 13 plug-in. I also noticed that Adobe Air was downloaded on my computer. I went in and uninstalled the Adobe Flash Player 13 Plug-in and I was once again able to download and watch YouTube videos. But when I tried to play games on Facebook I was told I would need to install at least Adobe Flash Player 10.0.2. I went to find that or an older version but each time I tried to download from Adobe I would get the Adobe Flash Player 13 Plug-in version, and once again I was unable to download and watch YouTube videos. I was, however, able to play the games on Facebook again.
Remember when I just had Adobe Flash Player 13 Active X I was able to do both while having Mozilla Firefox. I have looked all over the internet and I cannot find recent articles that talk about this problem. Can someone please tell me what I can do so that I can keep Mozilla Firefox, as it is 10X faster than IE9 and with Firefox my Facebook doesn't crash all of the time? But I also want to have the ability to download and watch YouTube videos with my son, as well as the play games on Facebook.
I should also note each time I went to uninstall Adobe Flash Player 13 Plug-in I received an error message saying there was a conflict with Mozilla Firefox and I first had to shut it down before the uninstall would proceed. Also, I received a reply on Adobe's Facebook page from a Tech who had me check to see if I had the latest version of Flash Player. I did have the most recent version. He then asked me to go to my add-ons and enable Shockwave. I followed the instructions and it was already enabled (or it said always activate). Neither of those helped me be able to download and watch YouTube videos. Fan starts to make loud noise when watching youtube videos
Hello there, I have been having a problem with my Macbook Pro for a while and I hope I can find some help here. My Macbook Pro has the problem that when I am watching youtube videos and I have the fullscreen option on, if the video is lasts, say more then 4 min or so, then after a while the fans start to kick in and they keep getting louder and louder for no reason.
It also does this sometimes when I open the spotlight to search for something, although that hasnt happened as much lately. But this is really getting annoying, I mean, why would a simple video from youtube, make the mac go all crazy as if I was rendering or exporting video, its nuts. I have all the updates installed too.
I also went to an Apple store, and of course when I try to show the person the issue I have, the macbook pro works just fine! Its somewhat random. I told the guy that I have Applecare and if they could just hold onto the machine and test it out themselfs and the guy tells me, that I have to pay THEM for this service if they dont find anything. What the? Is it my fault if the issue doesnt come up during their suposed testing time? What if they just dont do anything to it, and then say they dont find anything, and im suposed to pay for this even though I have Applecare? There must be something wrong.
Anyway, I really appreciate any help and guidance I can get on this issue. Btw, my Macbook Pro is the second generation one, the one with Intel Duo Core 2, 2.33 ghz, 2 GB ram and the ATI video card. I also recently ran Disc Utility from the install disc and I repaired some issues on the HD, but its still the same.

I have just downloaded the iStat Widget and I noticed that the fans were at about 2800-2900 rpm and the sound wasnt noticable, I then played a youtube video that lasts for 5 min, although already on the 1 min mark the fans were getting louder when running in full-screen mode. I then checked iStat and it peaked at around 5994 rpm. I then stopped the full screen viewing and it went back to 3000 rpm after a while, and now it seems to be locked at 2400 rpm.
What I dont get is, why is it that when I play videos from my hard drive and watch movies, even in full screen mode, it doesnt get near 5990 rpm at any point, at least I dont notice any loud fan sounds. Although that has happened when I watched a HD video from my desktop that lasted about 6 min, but the fans didnt go as loud as right now.
Also, a few days ago, I was playing a small flash game on the net, and I got the same problem with the fans as with the youtube videos. I read that youtube uses flash, is this right? Could there be something on this? I have downloaded the latest flash player version though, so I dont know whats going on. -

So, I am kinda confused. I searched around the net and all that, and I found out that there's this thing in setting where you turn on the "closed-captioning". So I turned it on and tried watching videos in YouTube but IT didn't work. Also, I remember one time that I can use CCin YouTube. it's weird.
I remember that they said if the Cc were encoded in quicktimes you can see the CC but if it's flash you can't. So I figured it's impossible to watch YouTube videos with CC. However, if anyone knows another way to watch with CC on YouTube, tell me please. Thanks.Sorry, but I don't know if there is a way.

installed adobe flash 13 and i cant watch any videos i uninstalled it installed it and the f-ing adobe pagesays its missing a plug in and im looking at the plugins and lo and behold its plugged in and i downloaded mavericks about a week ago the funny thing the game i play on a igg website works just fine but when i want to watch a video it plays 18 secs and quits

When I watch YouTube videos on my iPhone 5 it sometimes suddenly drops in quality so much the whole video goes blurry and it's almost impossible to watch anything?? Help also I think it might have to do with my wifi but I'm not sure. Sometimes I also try to skip to sections of a vid and it just lags for ages and nothing happens.
