Dear all,
after upgrading to SAPGUI 7.10 I can´t switch to Excel in ALV. Even Export to Spreadsheet isn´t working.
Switch to Excel inplace:
View cannot be switched: Product is not installed or integration is not active.
Message no. 0K000
Export to Excel:
Sap ties to create a XXL-List Object.
Any idea or solutions?

previously we are able to used spreadshit through export,but now system is asking to save fiel in exl sheet.
We have following status,
SAP 500 ,support package SAPKE50036 level 0036
kindly advice the required fiel which has to be download and then apply.I have gone through your mail but didnt able to find mention file .Kindly help out in this.
where will we get requird file?

ALV Export to Excel after Upgrade to ERP2005

Hi Guys and Gals,
We have a bespoke ABAP report which prior to the upgrade to ERP 2005 created an ALV list and from the menu list, we could select: -
List --> Export (we then had the following options):-
Word Processing
Spreadsheet
Local File
Additional Function of SAP Query
XML Export
However, after the upgrade only Local File and XML Export are selectable all the rest are grayed out and therefore <i><b>not</b></i> selectable. The code never changed before or after the upgrade.
Any pointers will be greatly appreciated.

Sounds like it could be a Basis issue to me. Check with them first. I haven't come across this problem myself so I could be wrong.

File- Export not working after upgrade from 11i to R12

Hi,
File -> Export not working after upgrade from 11i to R12.1.3 in few systems. Can you please let me know what could be the issue.
If export record count more than 200 it is working fine in all the systems and if change the profile option "Export MIME type” value to ‘text/tab-separated-values’ from application/excel also it is wokring.

Longer running export to Excel after BW7.3 upgrade & HANA migration

Experts -- I'm curious if anyone has encountered issues with longer running exports to excel from Web Analyzer after they upgraded to BW 7.3 and/or migrated to BW HANA?
We have encountered a very elusive issue with our users running into this issue where the export either hangs or returns a series of error messages. OSS has not been of help as the issue is unable to be consistently reproduced.

Hey Sebastien - Thank you for the response. I work with Justin and can provide the additional information here:
By export what we mean is that users running BEx reports from our web portal are clicking on the 'Export to Excel' button and it is taking an extremely long time. This is happening even when the report result set is relatively small. We never had any issue prior to the upgrade.
There have been a few error messages reported, but this "Open Dialog" error is the most frequent.
We are very familiar with the 500,000 cell limit and these error are taking place on report output well below that limitation.
These reports do not use hierarchies.
Prior to 7.3 we were using 7.0 EP1 SP7
We appreciate any help or suggestions.

Export to Excel after ATG 12.1.3

Hi Y'all...
Have another question for all of you.
We're in the process of upgrading one TEST instance to ATG 12.1.3 (for support policy adherence) - and find that after the completion of all steps fro teh ATG 12.1.3 upgrade, that the 'Export to Excel' functionality that used to work on the non-upgraded instance, now does not work i.e. it does not export to Excel - instead it exports to notepad/wordpad.
Is there a profile option that I should be re-setting for this to go back to 'old' behavior?

Web Query (.iqy) not working in Excel after upgrade to 11.1.1.6

After upgrade 11.1.1.5 to 11.1.1.6, the Web Query (.iqy) does not work. After open the .iqy file in Excel, entered the user and password, it only pulls in "PK" in one cell, instead of the expected analysis report. This was working in 11.1.1.5 before upgrade.
Does anyone know how to correct this issue? Is this a bug in 11.1.1.6, or required some new configuration settings?

Some export presets missing after Upgrade to LR5

I recently upgraded from LR 3.6 to LR 5.6 (Windows 7)
Upon opening LR 5.6, I noticed that while my catalog has successfully migrated, SOME of my customized export presets are missing. I see all of them in the C:User/Appdata/Roaming/Adobe/Lightroom folder, but only some appear as options in LR5. (They all appear in LR 3).
How do I restore these?

You shouldn’t run any export/import. All your application should be in place.
You should check the patch installation log for any reported errors. The file is called apxpatch.log, and it should be found in the directory where you unzipped the patch distribution file.

Cannot export to Quicktime after upgrade 9.4.3

I saw another thread about this but what they suggested is not working for me. I am also a professional photographer who has been using iphoto as a quick way to create a slideshow to bring into iMovie or FCP for tweaking. Yesterday the option for 'custom export' was there after going under File > Export > Slideshow > Display now there is only one export button showing and when you click it, it does just that, exports to M4v, which is of no use to me whatsoever.
Please tell me I am missing something here....

Network Mode Switch No Longer Possible After Upgrade

Hello. I can't switch from 3G/H+ to 2G any longer. I could do this when I still had the OS 7.0 running on my Torch 9810 (AT&T). This changed after I upgraded to the OS 7.1. Now, when I go to the "Networks and Connections" option, all I see is "Manual and "Automatic"...I don't see any options to switch between 2G or 3G/H+...Even when I try switching manually to 2G (selecting 2G from the list of available networks), it still stays on 3G/H+...I have just upgraded to the latest official release: OS 7.1 Bundle 1997 (7.1.0.694 , Platform 5.1.0.507) but still, there are no changes on that. I need to have this feature because staying put on 3G/H+ means faster battery consumption and I don't want that. Please, your assistance is needed. Thanks.

Is anyone having trouble using parenthesis to show negative numbers in excel after upgrading to Yosemite?

Since upgrading to Yosemite, I can no longer reflect negative numbers with parenthesis using excel. All of my existing spreadsheets also no longer show parenthesis, creating formatting problems. Is anyone else experiencing this and is there a solution?

Indesign crashes exporting to pdf after upgrading to windows 7

I recently upgraded to windows 7. Indesign cs4 worked fine...until i tried to export my 16-page document to a pdf. I got the message: Adobe Indesign CS4 has stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop working correclty. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available. (And it hasn't notified me, ha ha ha...) I tried with a one page document, and it was able to export it. Then i tried six pages of the doc and it won't export. ANy help out there?

I did a system restore, but that didn't help.
I tried exporting the indesign file page by page, since it could do a single page. I discovered only page 5 was causing the problem.
I will recreate page 5 from scratch and see how that goes. Something could be corrupt on it, but it had not presented a problem when I was using Windows XP and had exported the exact same entire 16 page file befor upgrading to windows 7 last month.

Switch on classic GL after upgrade to ECC 6.0

We are in the process of upgrading from 4.6c to ECC 6.0. We intended to use the classic GL for the start and switch to the new GL next year. However we inadvertently failed to switch on the classic settings during install. Is there a way to turn on the classic GL on the fly without starting over and reinstalling?
Any ideas would be appreciated.

There is no such thing as to 'failed to switch on the classic settings' . By default when you upgrade the classic GL runs. Only if you want to use the New GL, you need to activate in the Financial Global Settings, the new G/L feature.
When you activate data continue to populate the old tables namely GLT0. This is for you to compare the data in the old with the new, if satisfactory, then de-activate the old GL.

Discoverer 10G Not Opening Excel after upgrading to JAVA 1.6.0_45

I'm testing Java 1.6.0_45 on EBS version 12.1.3, Discoverer 10G. Everything with EBS is working alright. But when try to export results of a Discoverer report to Excel, it does not automatically open the spreadsheet. We didn't have issue with earlier JAVA version (1.6.0_5). Java console shows the error "java.lang.SecurityException: showDocument url permission denied". Any direction in resolving this error is greatly appreciated.

Problems opening documents (zip files, excel) after upgrade to Snow Leopard

Since upgrading to Snow Leopard I have not been able to open a lot of files. Mainly, zip files and excel documents (which I had no problem opening before the upgrade. It seems that when I save the files down (from my email or whatever) the files go into the "Archive Utility" program, I try to open them from the Finder but they still won't open (or unzip).
When I go to open an excel document (most likely from a PC user), I get a msg that the file isn't formated for excel. However, before the upgrade to Snow Leopard I had no issue opening this same file in Mac Office-Excel.

I have not experienced those problems, but I do not receive Excel spreadsheets via E-mail. My Stuffit Expander version is 13.0.2.
You might want to check your Excel preferences to see if there is a setting that needs to be changed (compatibility?). I use Office 2004 so your version may be different.
You could also trash preference files to see if something happened during the install.

Premiere export - low quality after upgrade

The only thing that I remember changing was that I updated Premiere and a few other Adobe programs from Creative Cloud. The next day I tried exporting the same video with the same export template, and the quality went from perfect to terrible. The video looks incredibly compressed and low res even though I export it to 1080p, 2-pass 50mbit h.264 variable bit rate.
The ONLY thing that has changed is that I updated the program. After FX and a couple others as well. But every single video I try exporting looks terrible with h.264. I got it to look decent when exporting to some Quicktime format, but I need the standard h.264 compression.
Did my codecs gets corrupted or something during the update? I actually installed Premiere CC just now and uninstalled Premiere CS6 to see if that would help but it's giving me the same issue.

I've discovered the culprit.
Somehow, the latest update to Premiere Pro CS6 and also Premiere CC have a weird thing going on when exporting to h.264 using the settings I've posted above, namely the VBR 2-pass thing.
When Premiere Pro CS6 is updated to the latest version or Premiere Pro CC, it gives me what I mentioned above. However my older version of Premiere Pro CS6 (version 6.0.3)) doesn't give me this issue and is working fine. I've checked this on two systems so it's got to be some bug.
By the way, the file size is WAY, WAY smaller when it exports to that compressed/blocky look. It's like the VBR thing isn't working right.
I already edited some stuff in the CC version (about 10 videos) so I won't be able to export them in that format until this is fixed. I guess I need to report this bug to Adobe somehow unless the staff sees this post.
