Canvas/Viewer Zooming past 100% question?

When I zoom the Canvas or Viewer past 100%, I think I should start to see actual pixels. By the time I get to 800%, I should be able to see the actual pixels, albeit very small. When I do this with Apple Intermediate or Apple ProRes MOV's, at like 800% I see what looks like VERY smoothed pixels. Is my output going to look like that? When I convert my input with a 3rd party codec such as CineformHD at the same resolution (I'm using 1920x1080 with all codecs), and when I zoom in, I start to see the pixel structure as I'm used to in Photoshop. I like it much better when I see the pixel structure.
Is FCP actually smoothing the view with the Apple codecs because it thinks it looks better with a smoother view? (Though when I make a change in the video parameters, for a brief second, you actually see the pixels then it switches back to the smooth view.)
I guess the question is, is that what its doing--smoothing? And the second is, can I make it so that the apparent "smoothing" doesn't happen? Thanks.

Why are images opened in new tabs expanding past 100%

When opening an image of any type in a new tab, it will scale down as normal, but when clicked to "fullsize," it zooms in past 100%, approximately the equivalent of two adjustments of the scroll wheel in.
Example: I have a 1920 x 1080 display, and if I expand a 1920x1200 image, the width far exceeds the horizontal boundaries (which should be identical, allowing no horizontal scrolling. To better describe this, here's an example: http://i.imgur.com/UfbqFnD.gif

I have a high dpi display (1920x1080, 15.6 in screen,) have tried setting Firefox to Disable Display Scaling on High DPI Settings, but to no avail.

Reader Open View Zoom Problem

I converted a Word 2007 document to pdf format using the Word pdf converter "Save As Pdf." I have Reader XI to read the pdf document, but the pdf document opens in 136% view and I cannot make it open in 100% view. Using the "View" control only changes the view during the current session. When I close out the document and open it again, it opens in 136% view. The "File," "Properties," path doesn't help because Reader does not contain an "Initial View" control, which is present only in Acrobat. How can I change the view to open in 100% in Reader?

Please set the default zoom as 100% in Reader's preferences.
Edit -> Preferences-> Page Display
Set Zoom as 100%
Click on "OK" button.

Zoom past edges of image

Hello,
I am having an issue that i cannot figure out, i might have hit some kind of shortcut or something... When i zoom in 100% to an image, i use the navigator to go to the corner of the image. however when i look at the image (i am in the corner) the scroll bars show that i can go further than that! so if i use the scrollbars to get to the corner it goes right past the image... now i know i can do this in fullscreen mode... (F key) however i have tried that and know that i am NOT in that mode, yet i can still scroll past the image. any thoughts on what or how to change this back to stop at the edge?! thanks in advance!

Stacked canvas view placed on the content canvas

Hi to all,
i am developed a one form ,i.e placed the stacked canvas view on the content convas.
i create a two data block's with same table.
one data block for content canvas and one for stacked canvas.
in the content canvas i taken two fileds with scroll bar and remaining fields placed on the stacked canvas.
these stacked canvas view put on the content canvas.it dispalying and
executed succesfully.
here i am getting one problem i am displying the 10 records at a time in both canvases.my requirment is placed on the
cursor on the content canvas particular record scroll down then automatically show the same record details in stacked canvas and
content canvas scroll bar is changed automatically stacked canvas scroll bar is changed.

This is not necessary. Just create one data block and then assign the block items to your Content and Stacked canvases. You can display items in a data block on different canvases. By doing this, there is no need to write code to synchronize the records because they are part of the same data block so they will automatically scroll as you navigate through your records.

Problem with Bridge CS6 and zooming to 100%

When I click on a file to zoom to 100% it zooms to 800%. I had the same problem in CS5 and fixed it by deleting the com.adobe.bridge.plist, but this does not work with CS6 and I don't even find the plist. I have a Mac with OS X 10.8.2. I found two plists, com.adobe.CSXS.3 and com.adobe.CSXS2Preferences but it didn't fix the problem deleting them.
I use the zoom function alot and would be very grateful if someone could help me. I do not like the preview workspace with the little 100% window, I prefer zooming to 100% by clicking on the file.

It does not work on a Mac, and they have only one set og +/-, at least my Macbook Pro has.
That is a bit strange, it always has worked for that way on both my Mac Pro and my MacBook.
I can use the scroll wheel on my mouse to enlarge the 100 % preview from loupe in preview window to 200, 400 and 800% but also the + and - keys from both my qwerty key board and the number pad of my extended keyboard for the same result.
Hitting tab for full screen preview I don't even have to click, both aforementioned + and - keys set to 100%, 200, 400 and 800% as well my scroll wheel.
All those methods work on both MacPro and MacBook.

Any Way To Have Dreamweaver Cut Off Text Past 100%?

Does anyone know if there is a way to make Dreamweaver cut off your text if it is past 100% of the screen size? Thanks.

It's no big deal though.
The thing is I want it right at 100% so it fills up the width of the whole screen. But, it doesn't work right, because people have different size screens for one thing and the other thing, what I want is a straight line across the screen. Like if you were to go to style>underline and then, continually hold down the shift+ctrl+space bar until it got all the way to the end of the screen. However, when I actually preview it in my browser, it is not the whole screen (much shorter). So, then the only option is to make it really long to ensure that it does actually go to 100%, but then I would have to have Dreamweaver cut off/delete any extra text because I don't want a horizontal scroll bar across the screen. And, I don't think DW can do this. Too hard judging the 100% and it would be different on different monitors anyway, so guess I won't be able to do it. It's no big deal though.

Problems when zooming to 100%

I've been playing with the cs6 beta for a few days (mostly ACR) and today I started working on photoshop proper to retouch an image I took, when I zoom to 100% all I get is artifacts and repeating patterns like its not displaying the image correctly. If I zoom in even further it justs zooms on the pattern it had. If I zoom out to 50% I see my image as if nothing has happened

mmm haven't had any problems with my vid card until this last driver update, still I'm in xp and my comp is a little old. Anyways I was asking if anyone else has the same problem and if there was another solution than to just update my vid card drivers...

Problem with my Canvas Viewer

Never had this problem before in over 8 years of Final cut editing...
No images appear in my canvas viewer when I am editing! The canvas viewer is there, but no images appear when the playback is idol.
Obviously this is pain in the neck if I want to position images, crop images, layer images on top of each other, etc.
However, when I press "play", the playback in the canvas viewer works fine. I can watch everything that is in the timeline just fine. But once I stop the player, whichever point I stop at, that image is frozen there, until I press play again. Even when I click a new point on the timeline, the frozen image does not change.
I just spent half a day clearing out my hard-drive. The Ram disc space says it's okay. And I even ran a disk utility check.

Any suggestions? Anyone ever have this problem?

Whether or not the hosts do delete your posts, do not make the mistake of believing that deleting something from the internet is so easy. Once those posts have been archived by other sites that monitor this one, they remain archived. People may still be able to find your cached posts on Google, for example. In the future, you should not post anything anywhere online if you are not willing for the world to see it.

Yes you can use the VIEW-->video out-->digital cinema desktop preview command and monitor on your mac screen(sometimes you need to use the refresh video device command to gain access to digital desktop. Displaying +standard def miniDV+ on a mac screen may display bad quality as standard def in small frame dimension.
Or
Use your camcorder as an analog interface to monitor via firewire on external TV set or broadcast monitor. Standard def only. And the quality will be there as TV set has less resolution than your mac screen.

A canvas is a surface--inside a window container--on which you place the interface items and boilerplate objects that end users interact with when they run the form. By default, any canvas you create at runtime is assigned to the window named WINDOW1. To explicitly associate a canvas to a specfic window, set the canvas' Window property accordingly. While you can create and delete canvases in the Object Navigator, you will use the Layout Editor to accomplish most of your canvas-related tasks.
There are five types of convases:
1-Content
This is default canvas when we create form. It Specifies that the canvas should occupy the entire content area of the window to which it is assigned. Most canvases are content canvases.
2-Stacked
Specifies that the canvas should be displayed in its window at the same time as the window's content canvas. Stacked views are usually displayed programmatically and overlay some portion of the content view displayed in the same window
3-Tab
Specifies that this canvas will be a container for one or more tab pages.
4-Vertical Toolbar
Specifies that the canvas should be displayed as a vertical toolbar under the menu bar of the window. You can define iconic buttons, pop-lists, and other items on the toolbar as desired.
5-Horizontal Toolbar
Specifies that the canvas should be displayed as a horizontal toolbar at the left side of the window to which it is assigned.
