Canvas zoom and Button List

I wanted to put a Zoom to 100% button in my Canvas Button Bar, but FCP will not let me drag any of the zoom buttons from the Button List into the Canvas Button Bar. I just wanted to confirm that other people are seeing this before I submit a feedback report to Apple asking for this to be added.

What version of FCP? I'm not seeing this on my FCP 6.0.1 setup (hardware & OS listed below). I'm able to successfully add the Button Bar for Zoom Level 100% and am able to get it 'work' when I click on it.
Of course, as with any button bar, the annoying part is that clicking the button bar does not make the window active (ugh), so if another window is active, I have to activate the Canvas, then the button bar will work...

When I do 'WEBUTIL_FILE.FILE_OPEN_DIALOG' the explorer is opened and it shows some bittons ('List','Details',etc).
My problem is that the buttons 'List' and 'Details' are disabled and I need to use them.
And a question ¿could I hide any of the icons in the explorer?

TheThe "Zoom in" ( ) and "Zoom out" (-) buttons stopped working

The “Zoom in” and “Zoom out” buttons stopped working when I open a pdf file within Safari. I'd appreciate some direction as to what I should do.

Create buttons for Rotate, Zoom, and Pan in a 3dscene

Hi,
I am designing a 3dpdf and my client wants to play it in a touchscreen monitor.
The problem comes about rotate, zoom, and Pan inside the 3d scene. As this function are activated by mouse left and right button I need to create some buttons to make these functions available.

Canvas children and mouseOver

Simply put, I have a repeating canvas that contains buttons,
an image, and a text field. When the user rolls their mouseOver the
canvas, a child canvas becomes visible with buttons inside of it.
Works great when you make sure that the mouse stays only over true
canvas area and not over a child inside of the canvas. If it falls
over a child, it fires the mouseOut and the buttons become
invisible. Essentially, you can't click on the buttons because they
are a child and the mouseOut goes off, making them invisible! How
can I keep the mouseOver alive, even over a child?

1) cascading phase as the event goes from the top of the
display list through all parents of the control that dispatched the
event.
2) targeting phase, as the event goes through the target, the

- not all events bubble
- you may need to add an event listener twice, and have the
arg to addEventListener for bubbling to true and then false if you
want to listen during cascading and bubbling phases.
Now you are probably confused, so ignore some of what I said,
and concentrate on listening to mouseOver events in the Cnavas, and
then when the event handler is called, examine the target and
possibly currentTarget properties of the event object to see if it
is the child of the Canvas, and then act as appropriate.

Zoom and Pan

Hi,
This is a weird question.
Inside a 3dannotation window, Zoom is activated when press down right button and Pan when left and right buttons are pressed down.
Can be these two functions be asigned to keyboard keys?
Lets say when I press key number 1 Zoom is activated and when I press key number 2 Pan is activated.
The goal is to view a 3dpdf in a touchscreen monitor. There are some on-screen Keyboards applicattion that allows you to create and personalize buttons so zoom and pan would be available on a touchscreen monitor.

Plugins for Adobe Reader are not a trivial thing, not least because you need a license key from Adobe to sign the code before it'll work. Because of product timetables I don't have time at the moment to get involved in your project but if you want to go the plugin route I suggest asking in the Acrobat SDK forum, which is where most of the C++ programmers hang out. I'll add the SWF-proxy idea onto our list of future tutorials but it'll be a couple of months before I get round to it.

I am have problems with firefox 5& 6. It does not display correctly. I have tried the no squint and the internal zoom. Some pages load ok, others like yahoomail, load tiny unless I zoom and then other pages have problems. Why? What else can I be doing?

I am frustrated. With the no squint, which has a mind of its own, then some pages are fine, in others the type is too big or too small for the frames. If I use the default Firefox zoom that is no better. I have to set things for like 130 percent and am constantly having to click on the zoom and change things. I never had that with previous versions? Why can't Firefox just go back to displaying text in the correct frames at a decent size?

I have played with all the options in no squint and the default zoom thing. My email list in yahoo remains tiny tiny, other things do not. If I enlarge that, then other things are too big. I never had this problem with older versions of firefox. I never had used any zoom features, it all sized itself correctly.
To troubleshoot, I tried to open the same things with chrome, and it had much less of a problem sizing the type etc.
I am kind of at my wits end here.

You can re-download content purchased from the iTunes store (availability varies depending on location) using the purchased option which is revealed in the iTunes app on your iOS device by tapping the more button at the bottom of the screen.

Try double tapping with three fingers and see if that reduces the screen image. If it does, unlock the iPad and go to Settings>General>Accessibility>zoom>Off. If double tapping with three fingers doesn't work, try triple tapping the home button instead.

BRFplus and creation of info record and source list

I would like to use BRFplus to fill out MM values and after that automaticly create info record and source list for this MM record. The first step is ok, but creating IR and Sourcelist I am not sure. What is the best way to do so?
-> Calling FM? If so how should I use the Result Data Object and Dispatcher field in BRFplus?

Hi,
Yes could call FM using BRF+ Procedure Call-Function Module. And map the exporting parameter (results of FM) to BRF+ ruleset parameter and do the further processing.
When you assign FM name then in below container UI you can add all required parameters using "Add Parameter" button.

If your are having a UI like ME52N and you want an attachment feature in each row, I have below suggestions:
Suggestion 1: If you use ALV
Add a column in list of type Xstring or which ever suits your document specificatio
Add a Button on the ALV for attachment,
On click of the button you can Popup a browse window and user can select the file.
The content of the file can be stored as Xstring for that Line item.
Suggestion 2: IF you use Table UI element
Add an attreibute to context node of type Xstring
In the Table set, you can set FIleUpload as the editor for this column.

CS5 Interactive PDF - disappearing graphics and buttons

I have been struggling with CS5 - just about every interactive aspect of it anyway. I have an ebook that I just brought into CS5 from CS4. Each chapter in the book has interactive features such as buttons, anchored graphics, embedded video, html links, etc. I had been struggling with creating the interactive PDF (the whole spread thing) but fixed that with a script found in this forum (Thank You). Even still, I am struggling with random graphics and buttons that disappear off the page during pdf creation. One graphic was moved (not by design) into the bleed space of the document. All of these weird interactive bugs are just about more than enough. It is not an option to create the buttons in Acrobat... there are just too many. Anyone else have similar problems or have a solution I could try. I am close to the point of having to return to CS4 (which would suck to have to redo the edits made again).

I am sure that is true and makes very good sense for many projects.
This project is an ever evolving project... a price list that has evolved even from CS. I am in the process of creating it all new again, fresh in CS5 as a side project. Unfortunately, deadlines always push us to make do with what we can and with what we have. I was hopeful that CS5 would take away some of the pains I had been dealing with in CS4, but truly I was just uncovering more crud than I was able to work around. There will be a time when CS5 is good enough... just not today.

Your iPod touch running OS 4.2 has a ZOOM feature which will enable you to see the screen more clearly.
To turn Zoom on or off got to:

_Large Text_:
Large Text lets you make the text larger in alerts, and in Calendar, Contacts, Mail, Messages, and Notes. You can choose 20-point, 24-point, 32-point, 40-point, 48-point, or 56-point text.
Set the text size: In Settings, choose General > Accessibility, tap Large Text, then tap the text size you want.
I hope this has helped a little - other than this option I think it pretty much is what it is.
BTW - This information can be found on page 208 of the iPod Touch iOS 4.2 Users Guide.

Increasing canvas size and re-clipping (intentionally)

Hi,
So I bolluxed up a little bit while creating my first full-bleed print piece. I used Ps to edit the image, Ai to add some stuff, and ignored Id completely for the printer. Now I have a perfect 8.5 x 11 image that I want to print all the way to the edges without scaling; I left white bleeds 1.8" but apparently that won't suffice.
I'm trying to go back into photoshop and increase the canvas size (8.75 x 11.25 to include bleeds), and with it, extend the image that was originally clipped when I trimmed the document from a vertical picture (12 x 16 or whatever) to fit the standard letter paper size. When I do that, I get only white areas around the canvas.
Can anyone provide a solution to create full-color bleeds the way they should have been done originally? I have tried changing the canvas size and re-placing another layer of the image behind the existing one (with the hopes that it would clip automatically), but it didn't work. At this point, should I worry about bringing anything into InDesign?

There is a way to do this; unfortunately, it's not an
automatic feature
like in Photoshop. The approach you'll need to take is to
update the
document dimensions (basically, the canvas size) as desired,
then use the
Edit Multiple Frames button on the lower left of the Timeline
panel to
manually move all assets on the main timeline. To do this,
you'll have to
make sure all layers are unlocked. To do this quickly, click
the
Lock/Unlock All Layers button at the top, between the eye and
the square
buttons, until you see that all locks have been removed (one
or two clicks
will do it). In the Modify Onion Markers button next to the
Edit Multiple
Frames button, choose Onion All. Select Edit > Select All,
then use the
arrow buttons to move your assets.

Get radio button list order

I am making an online exam project and I am currently able to show choices for each question in random order. I want to control all currently open exam sessions so that each student gets a different order of choices during the time of the exam -- to avoid cheating.
I am thinking the best way is to retrieve choices radio button list items in order and insert them into a table by session and compare order for each new session asking for the same question.
Is this the best practice?
How do I get each item from the list and its order to be able to insert it into a table?

Ok so you would have at least one permutation table per number of radio buttons.
You would need to randomize the order in the table like assign dbms_random.random() to
a column say TMPSEQ and then order by TMPSEQ and assign rownum to some field (to get a nice simple key for the records) So then you need a package in plsql that retains
what was the last key (permuation) that was used. When it hits the max it would reset to 1.
I think you might actually have to create a different table for each question even if two questions
had the same number of choices because it would be possible
under unfortunate circumstances for the counter to be reset precisely at the beginning of another person's

As I have choices from 1 to 4 I got 24 rows. Is there a way to separate those values? I want to bind each choice with a number from 1 to 4 and change their order based on the permutation I selected from the table. I think I need a function that returns character at certain position e.g. chatAt(str,i) so it would be like:

That would be my first choice in any permutation.
Is it best to create one SEQ for each question so each session just gets the next value of that question? How do I create SEQ's from PL SQL?
I also need to lock my SEQ to avoid access from multiple sessions at the same time if I wanted to save that SEQ for future use of displaying choices that were available like they were originally shown. Finally I need to return the list of choices in order to my radio LOV which I still don't know how to do! Probably a join between question table and my ordered choices on equal chid?
Edit: Maybe this way:
