Capacity Requirement in each capacity category

Hi experts,
I have some queries about capacity category in project as follow scenario:
1. I have a work center NLE0001 including 2 capacity category that are PERSON and MACHINE.
2. Then I assign this work center to a internal activity in PS. In detail, I enter work in this activity about 200 HR. So when I execute report of project structure (CN41N), the report represent that each capacity category in work center is 200 HR. It means total work of this activity is 400 HR. Please refer to report as follow:
- Project Definition
---WBS
Internal Activity (Work: 200HR)
Person Capacity (Work: 200HR)
Machine Capacity (Work: 200HR).
My question is that could you clarify why system calculate the capacity category like that??
Thank you!!!

Can anybody help me this problem???

  • Table For Capacity requirements

    Hello Every one,
Does any body know the table which contains details for capacity requirements raised for a planned order and production order raised for a specific tme period for multiple capacity categories.
The table should contain or a logic should exist to link the following fields:
    1. Planned order, production order
    2. Capacity requirements
    3. Capacity category.
    4. Period
This is because my current uses capacities of 2 capacity categories (machine and labor) to plan production.
    Sincerely,
    Aji

    Hello Aji,
    Please find the tables:

  • REM Planning table - Capacity requirements and Levelling.

Hi i have few queries in REM planning table.
In REM planning table MF50 my selection is based on entire plant. Here in total capacity data tab for any particular plant it will show the list of work centers which are maintained in particular plant to know the capacity details as per our requirement.
1.When i select any WC line and click on change capacity display from CRP it is giving break up with required and available capacity hours for any particular WC available time is assume 22.5 hrs per day which is given in operating time in capacity header in WC but in MF50 it is showing 23hrs.I have defined shift sequence in OP4A and assigned in capacity header grouping which have 3 shift with 30 mins break in each shift which results in 22.5 hrs working for a day so in shift sequence and operating time it is mentioned as 22.5 hrs is the time available for day but in MF50 it is showing 23 hrs available for day?
2.What is due% in MF50 total capacity data for any work center and how required time would be calculated?
Appreciate if any one has any example.
    Cheers
    KK

    Hi bump for any suggestions?
i have noticed one thing the time available is a round up value actual time available as per capacity header is 22.5 but in MF50 it is showing as 23..if i change to 21.5 then it is showing 22hrs available per day is this the standard behaviour?
can anyone tell me how the required time is calculated?
    Cheers

  • Capacity requirement reduction

I need an information about capacity requirement reduction in CRP.
During production process I confirm, with CO11N transaction, only time
(setup and machine) but without quantity. The quantity is confirm when
    each operation is finish.
Can the CRP reduce the requirements capacity (for processing formula)
after each confirmation without quantity (only machine time)
    declaration for processing formula?
I have tested but without quantity confirm the system didnu2019t reduce
the capacity requirements. These is a good solution? Do we have to
modify the setting in work centre?
Thank you in advanced for your support.
    Best regards.

    Dear,
You can do the capacity levelling in CM25 else
Capacity requirement reduction only possible if you active TECO the order in CO02FunctionRestrict processing--Techenical Complated. After teco also system will allow you to do the confirmation.

  • Does Supplier Capacity Constraint work at Item Category level ?

Does Supplier Capacity Constraint work at Item Category level (defined in ASL) in ECC plan?

    Raja,
There is no functionality to support supplier capacity at the "category" level in ASCP. That would be a nice feature, but it does not exist as per 11.5.10 and I've see no enhancements like this for R12 yet.
You can define supplier capacity only for the specific item-supplier-site relationship via the asl.
As a workaround, there is a feature to define supplier capacity for an ATO model. This could be a dummy item. Then set each of the items that you want to consume supplier capacity to be an ATO item for that ATO model. This is the only current method to share a given supplier capacity across items in ASCP.

  • Capacity planning requirement by individual capacity wise

Is it possible to get the report of capacity planning requirement by individual capacity wise. (Individual capacities assigned to work center).
I have checked Tcodes CM01 to CM07, but unable to get the same.

    Hi
What i understand from your query is you want Individual capacities to work center means  report as per capacity category wise..
In CM01  go to  menu select Planning->selection-> capacity category wise enter your capacity category, slection list window will appear, click Detailed Capacity List...

  • How to Split Capacity Requirement

    Dear PP Guru's,
We are in discrete manufacturing, there are several operations having capacity requirements say 24 hours .
But in actual we do not perform such operations at a go. We carry out operation in partial lots of operation qty. say each lot requires 4 hrs & there are 6 lots. Say for each lot operation is perforemed on alternate day.
My query is how we can split the capacity requirement of (single) operation in to six (lots) so that we can schedule each lots on alternate day. Currently we schedule capacity in CM31 where the order is shown in single block of 24 hrs.
Please suggest how to split the operation qty. Any configuration required to do so?.
    Regards,
    Srinathan.

  • Rough -cut plan with capacity requirment calculation

    Hi all,
We checking SOP with rough-cut plan
We created Rough-cut profile in mc35 for our bottle neck work center with base quantity -1 and time span - 1
then we selected new work center (there is no existing cap req). and assigned base unit measure:min.
and we assigned 1min for each day and saved the profile.
Now we went to mc88 and checked the material's active version production plan. (period split- DAY)
in View -> capacity situation -> rough cut planning -> show.
System calculates some capacity requirement for our production plan.
Say for tomorrow's date i given 1000 qty - production plan.
    but system showing capacity req
    Work center:  TESTWC3                  Plant: 0001         Capacity:  001
Info structur  Material          Plant   Order qty     Unit     From              To          Capacity reqmts      Unit
    S076            TESTFERT14    0001  1000.000       EA    29.01.2010  11.02.2010   9000.000              MIN
with 9000min and cap load more than 652% ( Actuallly  it has to show 1000min as per rough cut plan profile)
Our available capacity of work center per day - 1380 min
We cant understand the capacity requirement calculation in MC88..
    Help us out...
    Thanks in advance

    Hi,
Rough cut planning is genrally done for the group of material say product group, group of workcentre rather than individual material or workcentre.
As standard, in resource table whatever the value you enter that corresponds to no. of days. Each column represents one day.
Pl. refer this link for clear understanding of the same.

  • Function Module to get a work center's capacity requirements (load) within a given period

    Hi all experts,
Currently I’m doing a capacity summary report similar to CM01, but with a summarized capacity availability and loading for a period.
Selection Parameters: Work center range from and to, Period from and to
List Format: Work Center, Avail Capacity, Loaded Capacity, Free Capacity, Load %
I have found a standard function module (FM) to get work center's available capacity for a period, but still facing the challenge to find a FM to get a work center’s capacity requirements (load) in a period.
I have read through all the related threads from the web, and tested the recommended FMs, but still cannot get a right result.
Please help to provide some leads for a FM or the logic.
    Best Regards
    Philip

    Hello Philip
The following function modules should be useful:
       - CY_PRIMARY_SELECTION            - Function module for selection of orders for the work center
       - CY_SECONDARY_SELECTION          - Check for additional criteria
       - CR_CAPACITY_AVAILABLE_PERIODS   - Reads the available capacity from work center
       - HR_PERSON_READ_TIME_INFO        - Reads the available capacity from person (modification)
       - CY_GET_PART_CAPACITY            - used only for the first period to read backlog
       - CY_LOAD_DISTRIBUTION            - Distribution key
Please observe that these are simple function modules, not BAPIs, That means, they were developed to be used on the SAP internal programs and they are not supported by SAP when used in custom programs.

  • Function module to calculate capacity requirements of production order

    HI
Hav a requirement to calculate capacity requirement  for production orders like we see in cm50... does anyone know a function module to calculate capacity requirement?

    Hi All,
Just to reopen this issue, even I am looking for a similar functionality.
    To reinstate the requirement:
I want to find shifts and corresponding capacities for a work center. These details are obtained from CR03 and CR13 transaction.
If possible do let me know Function module or tables for the same.

  • Tables for PDS modes and capacity requirements

Does anyone  know which tables store the Mode and Capacity Requirement data for SNP PDSs?  In particular I am looking for the Mode Duration and Capacity Requirement Bucket Resource Consumption fields.
    Thanks,
    Laurence.

    Thanks Nanda,
I am unable to find this BAPI on our system  (we are on SCM 4.1).  Do you know the tables that store SNP PDS Mode and Capacity Requirement data?

  • Error in SAP APO Inbound: capacity requirement is invalid

    Hi Experts
I am getting an error in APO Inbound in APO queue manager. The error text reads " Capacity requirement is invalid".
I checked for all the resources whether they have validity and also checked for mismatching control key. But these fields are allright in both ECC and APO system.
I checked note # 924562, but i am still not able to solve this issue.
Can you please suggest how should i debug this error?
    Many Thanks!!
    Regards
    Mansi

    Hi Mansi,
Were you able to replicate the issue on which activity triggers this CIF error?
I remember a similar error which happened when converting planned order to production order where it was giving error"“Bucket capacity requirement has an invalid value” .
SAP had suggested to implement note 1381483 to fix this.
    Thanks

  • Remaining capacity requirements scheduled for operation in Planned Order

    Hi all,
I'm workig with planned orders, and I need the "Remaining capacity requirements scheduled for operation" data to list it in a Z Report, but I don't know how to get it.
You can see the info in the "Detail Scheduling" of the planned order in MD13.
Anyone knows how to get the info? Any table or any FM to get it?
Points will be given for helping
    Thanks in advance!

Did you ever find out where the planned order capacity information lives?  I can find the production capacity information in table KBEZ, but it appears that there is no planned order info there.
    Thanks,
