Capacity Utilization Level on Basic Pay IT0008

Can the capacity utilization level be automatically set based on the weekly/monthly/yearly hours of the work schedule rule?  For example, if 100% capacity utilization is defined as 2,000 hours per year and the employee's work schedule is 1,500 hours per year I want the percentage to be automatically set to 75%.

The problem is that a full time employee would work 1,950 hours per year (7.5 hours per day, M-F).  We have defined part time work schedules that may be 6 hours per day, M-F, or 1,560 hours per year.  The ratio of 1,560 to 1,950 is 80%, but when I assign the part time work schedule indicated above, the planned working time Employement percent for the work schedule is 100%.  This means the 100% refers to the work schedule with a total of 1,560 hours per year, not 100% of the 1,950.  I would like the capacity utilization to be set based off the planned work schedule hours in IT0007 compared to some fixed full time hours amount (like the hours value in V_T510I)

  • Break the link between IT0007 and IT0008 for Capacity Utilization Level

    Hi Gurus!
    We have a system that connects the field "Employment Percentage" from IT0007 with the "Capacity Utilization Level" from IT0008. That means that every change in the Employment Percentage changes also the percentage in the Capacity Utilization level.
    Our idea is to disconnect those two fields and make them independent, because the HR Department preffer to introduce this information manually twice (once in each infotype).
    Do you have any idea of how I should do that?

    I know what it means... The problem is for what they are using this infotype.
    For them IT0007 has the schedule of the person, and the percentage can change (<100% means part-time employee)... but in IT0008 they WANT ALWAYS the 100%, because for them this percentage is based in how many hours of all the hours informed in IT0007 the employee worked.
    In other words, if the employee has a Work Schedule Rule of 8 hours a day, but he is contracted part-time for only 4 hours a day, In the IT0007 he will be informed with an Employment percentage of 50%, but in the IT0008 he will have a Capacity Utilization Level of 100%, because he will work the 100% of the hours informed in the IT0007 (the 4 hours informed in Daily Working Hours).
    I know it is a little bit confusing, but it's the way they are working now... probably in the future they will correct their processes, but now we must adapt to their requirements and work in this way.

    Hi Vam,
    It seems a critical error. Are you getting just for IT0008?
    It's better to ask a BASIS man to check the issue or anABAPer to debug if you are not familiar with debug.

  • Employment percent and Capacity Utilization Level

    What is the significance of the Employment percent field on infotype 0007 and the Capacity utilization field on infotype 0008?  Are either one of them used by the Payroll processor to determine salary and net pay if the CATS time system is not implemented?
    We want to pay part-time monthly employees, for example, at 80% of their salary if they have an 80% work schedule.  We do not wish to change the salary, but can't figure out how these percent fields would change their pay.  They don't seem to in our testing.

    If you  are  using Indirect valuation of wage types  & Specyfying  Reduction Method as 2  in wage type characteristics , the Amount is reduced According to the capacity Utilization specified in IT 8 .

  • Changing infotype Basic pay (IT0008) and then park it!

    Hie Guys!
    We doing an implementation for a public service utility and these guys need tight authorisations on their salary reviews before they are taken as effective! One thing they want to happen is for a user to change a record linked to salaries like the Basic pay infotype, park it in the system before saving it and then one or two Super users has a look into it before it is passed on as effective.Meanwhile they would want the employee's basic pay  to still be at its previous level until they authorise it!
    Please any GURUS out there give me a hand and sort this one out!

    Hi,
    Authorization objects enable complex checks of an authorization, which allows a user to carry out an action. An authorization object can group up to 10 authorization fields that are checked in an AND relationship.
    For an authorization check to be successful, all field values of the authorization object must be maintained accordingly. The fields in an object should not be seen as input fields on a screen. Instead, fields should be regarded as system elements, such as infotypes, which are to be protected.
    You can define as many system access authorizations as you wish for an object by creating a number of allowed values for the fields in an object. These value sets are called authorizations. The system checks these authorizations in OR relationships
    Structural Authorizations
    Structural profiles are assigned in a different way to general authorization profiles. To assign structural profiles, you use table T77UA (User Authorizations = Assignment of Profile to User), not Role Maintenance (PFCG transaction) as with general authorization profiles. The authorization profiles are specified in the T77PR table (Definition of Authorization Profiles).
    You can protect (sub) structures by making relevant entries in this table
    A useru2019s Overall Profile is determined from the intersection of his or her structural and general
    authorization profiles, when you use both structural and general authorizations.
    The structural profile determines which object in the hierarchical structure the user has access to; the general profile which object data (infotype, subtype) and which type of authorization (Read, Write, ...) the user has for these objects. The access mode for authorization objects in HR Master Data is determined in the AUTHC field (Authorization Level).
    Steps to do Structural Authorization:
    Step1: TC OOAC (table T77S0)
    Activate the Structural Authorization switch
    Step 2: TC OOSP
    Create Structural Authorization profiles
    Step 3: Assign Structural Authorization profile to user Id
    Transaction Code: SE38 and assign report RHRPROFL0 enter object id for example (Organization unit)
    Assign regular Role authorization
    Table - T77UA (User Authorizations = Assignment of Profile to
    User), not Role Maintenance (PFCG transaction)
    The Table T77Pr - authorization profiles are specified in the T77PR table.
    You can protect (sub) structures by making relevant entries in this table.

    Hi Anantha,
    Go to PO13 and check the planned compensation for the position. This planned compensation suggest the default value on Basic Pay  IT0008.

  • Work centre capacity utilization

    Dear guru ,
    i have a work centre that always work in the same moment for 3 different production order.
    If my total daily available capacity is 11 hours for my 1 individual capacity is right that I assign to the work centre a capacity utilization of 300 percent in order to have a daily available capacity of 33 hours and I can use capacity levelling in the best way ?
    Or there is other better solution for solving this problem ?

    How do i find out the capacity utilization at the network activity level. My requirement is to findout the remaining requirement/capacity of a workcenter for each period, which will be the cumulative value of the non utilized resources/hours for the previous months, based on distribution key.
    The same functionality is there in CM07, but what is the exact functionality and how it can be reimplemented in a report?

  • Capacity utilization report (Labour)

    We are developing workcenter capacity utilization report.
    We have taken available capacity from KAKO table and function module.
    Actual finished set up hrs we are taking from AFRU -ISM01/ILE01
    My issue is for capturing confirmed set up hrs AFRU is the correct table or any other table is there.
    when i am testing some production orders set up time values are not flowing into the developed report.
    In which table we can see confirmed set up/processing times etc.

    Check the Work Centre assingin in the operation overview screen -then double clcik on this -Goto Work Centre Basic data Tab -Check the Standrda Value Key -Stndard value drives the three Setup , labout , machine to be entre or must be entred or not .
    If Rule for maintainec is not for Set up , then this will not come up in Confirmation screen also and hence in  your customised report .Or you may be having Set up hrs which have not confirmed yet .Based on this SVK , you will choose the Formula key for Scehdule , capactiy and also Csoting tab to calcuate the same.
    Check this and come back

  • Create a basic pay for the employee

    Hi all,
    while creating a basic pay for an employee, i am giving Payroll area,scale,group then giving 5555- basic pay wage,5556(pf allowance), 5557 (hra allowance) and when i click SAVE, I am getting an error saying "individual wage type 5555  not in table T510' but it is in the table T510 and i have define wage type characteristic for wage 5555 - module TARIF and for 5556 - SUMME.
    If I remove 5555 and give 5556,5557 then it is saved...
    Please need ur guidance...kindly help..

         sometimes while copy the wage type the dates get change automatically i suggest you check the date of the wage type characteristics and valuation of wage type, check revise pay scale and level also

    First of alll you have to check the configuration part in the basic pay ( PM>PA>Payroll Data> Basic Pay> Check Wgetype Charateristics. There you can find one screen where you have to modify the indirect valuation module according to the requirements. Then come to PA30 and enter IT0008 for some person and check.

    what is the meaning of 'I' in IND Val field ,which comes with some wagetypes only, in Basic pay infotype.
    If 'I' is there in the field it is not storing the value in a table so there is a problem with the calculations for some developments.
    how to restrict that 'I' in basic infotype ?if we restrict that will there be any effect in the other areas?

    'I' means indirect evaluation of the amount for the wage type. So, if you enter any value, then the amount limit will be computed from using IT0008 or IT0052 and checked with the value entered and 'I' will be removed. If you do not enter any value, then the amount for this wagetype will be computed by SAP function module.
    You can check the table T511 and for Wage type where MODNA is not initial are indirect wage types.

    I did servral settings to acheive Basic Pay Range Restriction(Warning) which uses Job Pricing concept:
    1-Define Pay Grades And Levels
        In this step, I build a records to describe a payment range for  certain evaluation points
    2-Create a record of infotype 1050(Evaluation Results) for certain position(let it be 10000001), in which I evaluate this position as 20 points.
    3-Assign 10000001 to an employee
    But when I input 0008 baisc pay amount for this employee,  range check does not happen as expected. Is there any steps I missed?

  • Multiple currencies in basic pay

    Hi all,
    our client keeps uses the basic pay infotype only as information (no payroll). They want to be able to use multiple currencies in the different wage types (e.g. one in USD, the other in EUR).
    Is this possible ?

    It is not possible to use two different currencies in Basic Pay.
    I think it not possible in SAP standard.
    i assume your client is using IT0008 for reporting purpose to solve this You can create 'Z' table pass IT 0008 values to that table. Write reports based on that table.

    1) The WT needs to be added to WT Model and LGMST Feature
    2) IF India, thn it also need to be added in Allowance Grouping and A9 table.
    3) can u tel mewhat do u mean by "We want the this wage type to be included in a calculation which is inturn update another wage type".
       do u mean, say XXXX=200 u assign in IT8, then calculate YYYY=XXXX/20 ? for such kind of calculation u can use INVAL B in V_T511 table, and this can be achived at Infotype maitnaince level only.
    But, if u want this to happen at Paryoll Process level, you may then need to use some PCR's. this is not adivisable until unless there is no alternative.
