Capital one EO office number change.

Tried calling today because I have an issue with a CLI that they were working on. I dialed the number 1-800-955-1455 that CreditAddict posted and it worked a few days ago. Today it goes to the call center.

Just that they type a bit better.

  • Capital One Executive Office - no response to my emails

I sent the Capital One EO a very nice email two days ago, requesting CLI's on both of my cards. I have yet to receive a response. Should I just call them instead?  Here's the email I sent:
Hello Capital One! I've been with the Capital One family for about 10 months now. I appreciate the company extending credit to me, and use both of my Capital One cards on a regular basis. I have several other credit cards that I can use, but I prefer to purchase with my Capital One card when I can because of the great cash back no-hassle rewards.  I started with a Platinum card, and a couple of months later applied for a Quicksilver One card. Recently I have upgraded my Platinum card into a Quicksilver One card, so I'm earning cash back with both now- something I'm very happy about.  The only trouble I have with my cards are their very low limits. I started both cards in the Credit Steps program, and both limits are only $500. I have to make several large payments every month to keep my credit under the limit, and I have to be very careful about staying below 30% utilization before my statements generate. Honestly it's a bit of a pain to make sure I have enough available credit, and I pay the bill often enough to keep my balances low.  I am respectfully requesting to have my card limits raised to $2000 each. This will allow me to charge the amounts I need, without having to make several payments every month.  I would greatly appreciate a followup to this email. I can be reached via phone at xxx-xxx-xxxx

But now I'm in this situation having gone nearly four years without a major late (one 30 day late about 20 months ago).  So from 2008 to 2012 things were really bad...four years out of a 22 year credit history when the world was ina  horrible recessiion and I was caught up in at at the wrong stage of life. But my scores are still horrible and likely will be for some time.  I'm hoping this direct approach will allow a creditor to see that my body of work, while hardly perfect ,is not one of a guy who spends recklessly or walks out on his bills.  To the contrary, one fo the reasons I'm so far behind still was taht I didn't want to screw my creditors and think it's important to pay back everything I owe, which I have now with the exception of the tax lien. Rant over.

  • Capital One EO CLI!!!

So I recently got my Cap One QS card with a $500 limit. Initially upon opening I had to send verification of address and SSN. Well I was approved with pretty much bad credit including bk7 from 2010 and other silly collections. So after about a month I requested a CLI with EO office and no sucess and was told to try back in a few months I am in the credit step program.  So I tried again online last week and they said they will review so I immediatley called the EO office and was told that it was denied because of too many inquiries...and all the other negative things. But I told the woman the form online said they tried to contact me I guess I had an alert. So I was advised to take the fraud alert off my report which I called and did and called them back for a manual review.  After three days I went online and seen they had a request for proof of income verification I had put $126k. I sent paystubs from one job, a letter from the other and bank statment showing total deposits...blah blah blah.... soooooooo just a minute ago I decided to double check my cap one account and I was hoping I'd fall out of my chair since I felt like chances were good since they requested additional information.  AND GUESS WHAT!!!! BAM $ 1500. LOL it may not seem like much to some but it sure was for me since that card was over limit (dont ask or judge).  So I am super excited now! and thats my story lol.

Thing is majority of the people skip the CSR and go right to the EO. The reason we shame it is because the executive office is for serious matters such as identity theft, wrong credit reporting information, fraud charges or account closure issues. It's not for getting a $500 on a platinum card. Ever notice the majority of people using EO is for a ridiculous CLI of no more than $1-2k? This is going to lead to the EO shutting down numbers and emails for people who actually need it.  I think of it like this. Would you skip over your manager and their manager and go straight to your CEO to ask for a raise? Probably hell no.Yes, I understand the point being made, however, consider the following: - myFICO is a small sample size of the MILLIONS of people who have access to the EO. We often convince ourselves on this forum that we're evidence of trends - but we're not. Reason being is...- we're also self-selecting. These is a particularly aggressive, educated group of consumers - not Joe Blow. Half the CSRs don't know what strategies are commonplace here.- you very well may also be hearing about the CLI contact more often than its actual frequency as compared to other issues (highly likely, in fact)- if the EO truly had no interest in ever dealing with CLI...they just wouldn't. The precedent for credo card companies telling us to shove off is pretty tangible.  Just try try to keep in mind - as I've said on other topics - the world of credit is almost entirely YMMV. Seems very arrogant to me that some myFICO forum folks have decided they know all the "rules," when the rules in most cases are just unwritten policies that change as the wind blows. The EO email and number is not publicly available. Is it on their Cap 1 site under contact us? No. When you Google "Capital One Executive Office" this site is the first hit. This site is also linked in FlyerTalk Forums and Reddit. These sites can reach globally. So please, see the bigger picture than the same 10 people who post in threads. And this site is notorious for assisting in getting things stopped or shut down. The Duck card, the Discover CLI, the Cap 1 EO and a few others. I know people won't stop using it for a useless CLI on a card but that means I can't stop posting my distaste for it. I'm not going to argue with you. You're entitled to your opinion - regardess of if I agree or not - but I'm just trying to point out the other side. This is a great site for information, and you're right: it's very informative and influences are fair number of people. However, your very argument is ironically a precise example of what I'm saying: you think what happens on this site is exclusively responsible for those issues. Seems arrogant to me. Agree to disagreePlease read again. I said this site assists. I did not say "exclusively" as you suggested. If you're going to make an argument, don't falsify what I say when it's in plain text.

  • Capital One EO number?

Can someone provide this for me? I just got the VentureOne card and want to leverage that credit line into more on my Quicksilver card.

I'm not really sure what you mean by "get more out of one" if you aren't planning to move the limits? Anyway, I'll message you the number. You certainly can try and it's always possible policies have changed but everything I have heard says Capital One just doesn't combine limits. If that's not what you're trying to do, or even if  it is, no harm in calling them, I'm just not sure what you are trying to achieve if not combine limits Are you talking about a CLI on your Quicksilver? They just extended you a large chunk on Venture so I'm not too sure if they'd bump the QS up so soon but everyone's case is different.

  • Capital One Secured Card Changing

I just had a long conversation with a Capital One CSR. I originally called to ask about the Credit Steps program on my new QS1 ($1k CL) and then asked about my existing Secured card ($99 dep for $300 Dec'14 -> $200 deposit -> $500 deposit -> $300 CLI = $1,300 CL). Anyway, he told me that the Secured Card is going to be changing in the next couple of months. You will no longer be able to make deposits to increase your CL. Capital One will be determining CL's and increasing them where they see fit. This is important to those who are gradually increasing their limits. I have no plans to increase mine any more now that I was approved for the QS1. After 5 on-time payments, he said they will be increasing that by $500 (though I've heard people are getting larger CLIs). Once I am able to convert from QS1 to QS, I will probably close my Secured.

You might want to hold off on that. I read that C1 will be able to combine limits, so you might be able to transfer the unsecured portion of your secured card to your other C1 card.

    Hi
Every handset has a unique series of identifiers, one of which is the IMEI number, so if you exchanged the handset (for example if it was not working & you were still under warranty) your new handset would have a new IMEI number.
What Apple do though is if you formally exchange your handset (again, under warranty etc) then they record the change on their system, but also give you a sticker which is meant to attach to the original box. That way, if you come to sell the handset, you have a proper record of why the IMEI number on the handset is different from the IMEI number on the box.

if your Photoshop is a part of Creative Cloud you can use "Manage your membership and payments|Creative Cloud" at

Payment & credit card >>> Help changing the credit card on your account >>> from there see what hints are listed.
On the other hand I'm sure that you can use the recommended procedure with a "normal" PS too.

  • Justice Credit Card-Capital One

I'm in the process of closing this card.  Will make payment at the end of the month and have a zero balance and close it.  When it switched over to Capital One last month, pushed the luv button to see if I could get a CLI.  Was told to contact number listed in email sent.  Called number.  Spoke with CSR who stated that initiating request could possibly result in hard pull.  I have a Kohl's card, which is Cap 1 too,  and told the same thing, but never has resulted in HP.  Well this time it did.  Was given a HP on EQ and did not get the increase.  Sent email to EO office about how ridiculous it is to get an HP on a store card.  Spoke with someone from the office who said that could she not remove the HP, but could initiate a manual review for a CLI.  Told her why would I want that when it wasn't as if I was getting a bank card.  Discussed how this could discourage people from getting the card.  Just letting the forum know that this change over from Comenity is not turning out to be positive.

Yes.  It has the option on the website to request a CLI, so I pushed the button, and got a response that they would send a reply by email.  Then I got an email saying I needed to call in and from there it went downhill.  It is ridiculous because it' not like it's Nordstrom's or Neiman Marcus.  It's Justice for goodness sakes.  Kohl's does SP for CLI and it is Capital One, but not this card.  Anyway, it will be paid off and I'll be done with it.

  • Capital One Platinum?

I have just begun my credit rebuilding journey. About a month ago, I applied for a secured card from my bank and was approved for $300 minimum. I sent them the $300, and read that CapOne is pretty lenient with approving secured cards, so I applied with them as well. I got approved and had to send them the deposit. I talked my grandparents into adding me as an AU on a credit card with a $9k limit and $0 balance that they've had since 1987. That AU alone bumped my scores 20+ points on EX and EQ. TU had the wrong address for me, so it didn't pick up on the AU but I sent them a letter requesting change of address.  Anyway, with my scores slightly higher, I was feelin' froggy and I had been reading that CapOne QS1 is pretty relaxed with their approvals. I thought I most likely would not get approved if I applied but it was worth a shot. I applied yesterday and got the "7-10 day" message. I read on the forums that if you get this message, its not an approval or denial, and to call the BD number the following day to ask them if they needed any more info. I called them today and to my surprise, the account specialist told me I was approved for $300 (better than nothing, and I was ectstatic to finally have a real card) and to expect the card within 7-10 days.  Now my question is, I've been reading some people had better luck with CapOne Platinum but denied a CapOne QS1. Since I've already got the QS1, what are the chances I could get approved for a Platinum? And if I do it today, would it still be with the 3 HPs from yesterday? I'd like to be able to get both of those unsecured, keep my CapOne secured, and either close or keep my bank secured card. Not sure what the best option is. Thanks in advance.

First congratulations!! Second, I wouldn't go for the Platinum right now, because it seems sometimes when you start out with Capital One's sub-prime cards, they get stuck at low credit limits and won't grow. Give yourself some more time, use the cards you have over the next few months, and before you know it, you'll get approved for better cards.

  • Capital One World Elite....

So i notified an EO via email ...  I had been a customer for such long time and believe it's time for an upgrade. If i could upgrade my Capitol One Platinum MasterCard to World Elite MasterCard i would greatly appreciate it very much. Thank you   Best regards,  Got a call the next day from the ''Executive office'' (really just their assistant calling) mumbling about how my card doesn't offer after using it for 4 years with a credit limit pass $5,000. Told me that maybe i want to look online for their other ''products.'' I jusaid yeah okay.... mmm hmmmm and hung up.    The next day got an email...      Your new credit card is on its way
Your new credit card was mailed today. Thanks for being a Capital One® customer.

Barclay wanted to change my Rewards to Arrival + which is a World Elite Mastercard earnong 2% as the GM Buy Power Card but has an annual fee so i was trying to get Captiol One to change my Platinum to World Elite instead and leave Barlay alone. Otherwise, Citi Double Cash said i can change World MasterCard to Elite when my INTRO APR ends but has foreign transaction fee. That's why i was trying to get my captiol one to world elite and just use that abroad instead. No annal fee. no transaction fee. I had 2 captiol one and just combined them into one and cancel out the other. So getting another capital one would not make much sense. Especially if i cancel out my longer standing and very first credit card... though i hear it stays on your report for 10 years ?

  • Vendor Master Bank Account Number Changes

    Hi,
Where are the changes of bank account number (New and the Old one) in vendor master data Reflected , is there any Table.??
    Regards,
    Archit

You can see the bank account before and after values in vendor master display or change.  Call up the vendor master (XK02 or XK03), go to the Vendor: Payment transaction screen, and then select the menu path Environment -> Account Changes -> All Fields.  The bank account changes will be listed under the change screen heading "Vendor Master (Bank Details)".  You may need to click the button "Entries" to see the Vendor Master (Bank Details).  Double-click that line and you will see the before and after values for ever bank number change.
    Example:
    Entry Vendor Master (Bank Details)
Date                          Chgd By              Co Bank Number    Acct/IBAN

  • Lync User Phone Number Changed in AD - Still Showing Old (Normalized) Number Days Later in Lync Client Contact Detail

Environment:  Lync 2013 backend; Lync 2010 and Lync 2013 clients.  Enterprise Voice not implemented.  November 2013 CU Applied on Server.
Issue:  Lync user (User A) phone number changed in AD but still showing old number for others days later.
Believed Cause:  User A has not logged into Lync since change to republish new phone number?
So after reading this http://masteringlync.com/ I am beginning to think that something I perceived as an issue may actually be by design?
    Action:
User A work phone number changed in AD.  User A has only one phone entry in AD.  Normalization rule in place to basically leave number unchanged (working)
    Result:
New phone number propogated fine to Exchange/Outlook fine.  Old number displaying only in Lync client when viewing User A contact card detail
Lync 2010 Client displays only old number when looking at Client A contact detail (this client only presents phone numbers if they are actually normalized)
Lync 2013 Client displays two work numbers.
One that we identify as a "display number" just as entered in AD - this shows correctly as the new number.  Another that we identify as the "normalized number" which is still the old
    number (same as 2010 Client)
Same results whether contact is saved in Lync Client or not and is not related to Outlook contacts - in fact one test was with a Lync account that is not Mail Enabled.
I did a dbanalyze to view the SQL database detail for User A and see that Category 'userInformation' has the old phone number and the time stamp on it seems to coincide with a Lync Cllient database change (user login or refresh on that end) so this seems
to futher confirm my findings thus my reaching the point of conceding it might be out of my control.
My Question I guess is ....
Have others discovered this?  Is this a bug or do normalized phone numbers actually requre a client login to accept/republish the number correctly to others even though the information is updated in AD?  User detail and how it propogates seems to
be the biggest mystery and it gets harder and harder to explain to users why changes aren't displaying accuralely.

Thanks Richard... your blog definitely hit home with what I was seeing but guess I just didn't want to accept that as the end of the road on this.  I'm still in a little misbelief that client interaction is necessary to update a backend change.
This process really makes phone numbers in Lync an unreliable source given a user will never know if it is it up to date.  And the problem with Lync 2013 client is it shows both numbers in the client ... the address book one with the
updated AD numbers and the one the normalized AD one that the user has to login to republish.  I now more fully understand the process but trying to explain that to users when they see different work numbers .. ugh.
Oh well, guess the important part is to understand the process so thanks again.
