Capital One VentureOne Approval- How long until card is received?

My husband applied for a VentureOne card on June 20th and was apporved, but the screen just said "Congratulations, you're approved!" and it did not show a limit or APR. It did say we would receive the card in 7-11 business days. He chatted with a rep online who told him the credit limit, $20K. 5 business days later, he received a letter saying congrats, the limit, and the APR, but it said the card was coming in 2-3 weeks. He called a rep again and she just said he should have it in 7-11 business days. Today its been 7 business days, no card as of today. Just wondering if anyone else is or was in the same boat and when did you actually receive the card. We're leaving for vacation tomorrow and it would have been nice to have that card with us!

Hey folks, So today marks my 4th months since opening my Quicksilver card so I decicded what the heck and went ahead and hit the CLi button wasnt expecting anything seeing on how discover keeps denying me CLI's but to my surpise i got a $1k increase. Bringning me up to $4,000! That was my highest limit card for a total of 6 hours. I got greedy and I decided to check Capital One's preaproval site and I saw I was Pre-qualified for a venture and venture one. Applied for the VentureOne cause I wouldn't spend enough to justify the annual fee on the venture. And bam approved for $5,000. Also, to top it off, its my first Visa Signature! Think I finally broke the $5,000 glass ceiling for me.

When I change my mobile number, how long until it takes effect?

I changed my phone number on one of my lines about 15 minutes ago. How long until I can use the phone again? Currently when I try it says 'network not responding'.

If it is a 4G phone, power it off and then on again. If it is not a 4G phone dial *228 and select option 1.
These changes should take effect immediately.
Possibility you may need to get a new SIM card if it is a 4G phone. In this case visit a store.

If you call customer service they can tell you how long until your upgrade and if you phone is broke and your not eligible for an upgrade yet ask about gettting a certified pre owned phone. Your allowed one per year but you have to pay for it. I think I got my droid eris to replace my broken phone and it was $169.99+tax and you can have the equipment billed to your next bill.

Great question, it's important to have an idea when you can get the phone. Currently, the launch date annouced is September 19th, 2014. The stores will receive phones on that day as released and they will sell on the same bases, first come first serve.

If Apple has not received your phone, obviously it can't even be evaluated for warranty purposes. Have you tried calling AppleCare to verify whether they have received the phone or not?

How to tell how long until TIMER executes?

say I have a timer set to execute every minute,
is there a way to tell how many miliseconds until the timer
executes again.
for instance If I checked halfway between the TIMER's
execution it should say "30000" (30 seconds intil timer exec again)

There's nothing built in. (You can file an enhancement
request at
http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/mmform/index.cfm?name=wishform
- maybe send it to both AIR and Flash Player).
But you could probably write your own by updating a counter
when the Timer event does fire. Your look up method could look at
the counter and the current time and figure out the difference
based on the interval set. You could use either the getTimer()
function or the Date.getTime() method for this.

Capital One Venture Approval and Lowes Approval after verification

Capital One applied July 16th didn't get a decision until July 27 (that's when letter is dated, but I just found out today when it came in the mail). Originally asked me to fax documents, then said documents were too dark and needed to re fax, then EO wanted me to email documents, then I got a denial letter that I couldn't retrieve, reps said it was because they couldn't identify me, theeeeeeeennnnnnnn they said EO never sent them my IDs that I emailed. I have active military ID, drivers license and vet ID from my last deployment. Still weren't good enough. So I was resolved to accept the denial and close my accounts (have investments, and savings with them as well as QS One and secured card). I told EO department this through email. So needless to say, the letter I received today stated I had been approved for 10,000. I previously worked for Capital One and I know that if you have a certain amount of money with them they automatically can recon your account if you ask but I didn't meet that threshold. However, I think they approved me to keep me as a customer. (come on, I used to work there, sent in two IDs, a SS card and randomly a birth certificate and you still deny me due to not being able to identify me lol) Just glad that's over. Bought some appliances for my mom and applied for lowes card. Was hoping to convince the rep to let me use military discount with 5% everyday. after having to call verification team (this again..) I was approved for SL of 2000. I will ask for higher CL tomorrow. So after much stress to prove i'm not jimmy joe from down the street, I did okay LOL.

How long until your book was published?

I recently submitted my manuscript to the Kindle, Nook, Kobo, and iTunes book stores -- all on the same day. It was up and selling the very first day in the first three stores, but still hasn't been published (a week later) in the iTunes store, and naturally Apple doesn't provide any information about when the book will get through the approval process.
What's your experience with how long it took to get published, from the time you submitted the manuscript to when it appeared in the iTunes book store?

My first MultiTouch book was approved in 24 hours. But it was a short picture book. My second, much longer work, submitted on March 14, includes over 100 illustrations, multiple galleries, music, animations...and 60,000 words! I made some really dumb errors in iTunes Producer during the submission stage that required the team at Apple to help. I was in contact with four different professionals on their support team this past weekend via e-mail - all at different levels in their hierarchy. I was straightened out by Sunday afternoon PST so technically my submission date is March 16th. My experience with the folks at Apple so far has been nothing less than amazing. One day later...I'm checking status every hour. Of course, I have always been an optimist :-)

The short answer is you are allowed to set up a verizon.net account and call into support.
There should have been a disk or something that took you through the steps of creating an account. If there isn't than another call to support is required, I don't recall how you set up an account.
Calling into support is slightly less convenient when you don't have a Verizon phone. I don't have VZ phone but have internet and TV.
When you call into support it says on the first prompt,
Enter your phone number or if you don't have one say "don't have one". Answer "don't have one".
The next prompt will say "what is your alternate number or if you don't have one, say don't have one. Your answer should be don't have one. I have an alternate phone number but most times that doesn't work so I just say "don't have one" to both questions.

How long until Oracle posts BPM Suite bundle definition and costs???

Alright... how long do we have to wait until Oracle officially posts what is in the BPM Suite and updates the price list? The current web site contents certainly don't have the up to date BPM Suite product bundle correctly identified. The May price list still has the price over $115K which can't be right since I also need the SOA Suite. I have run into multiple Oracle sales reps who all gave me different answers. Anyone else care to know this information with some clarity and want to chime in asking Oracle to make it clear?

How long until MacBook Pro with Leopard?

After Leopard is released, how long does is usually take to be able to purchase a MacBook Pro with the newest OS installed? Also, does Apple usually do the same as PC's manufacturers and give out free upgrade certificates about a month before release of a new OS?

It depends on what store you buy it from, you need AFAIK to wait until existing inventory has been sold. You do know that you'll get Leopard free if you buy it shortly before the release date or after.
Personally if you have the need now for a MBP buy it and use/enjoy it now and not worry about Leopard.

Newly reset security questions not working? How long until they become active?

Okay so, I contacted Apple Support, talked to the advisor, i was able to reset my security questions and add a rescue email and a message showed up saying (With a check mark) that my information hasb een changed. Great.
After, I then decided to go to the Password and Security page (just to make sure everything was working) and I tried to enter the questions (that i had JUST reset) and all three of them came out wrong.
So obviously I was confused but...due to my amount of re entering, I got locked out.
My question, is that is there a time limit to how long after the questions are reset and until they become active?

Anyone?
