Please help i can't open file or application such as notepad I am using Captivate 7

I am trying to link and open application using text captions function   eg: assessment in a MS word Document
text Caption hyperlink
Under Hyperlink dialog " Link to: Open File.
C:\Users\ntan\Documents\My Adobe Captivate Projects\assessment_info (9681).docx
Note: Worked fine under preview mode , by once publish linked are broken
Publish error
Error as follow:
File not found
Firefox can't find the file at
\Users\ntan\Documents\My Adobe Captivate Projects\assessment_info (9681).doc
    Check the file name for capitalization or other typing errors.
    Check to see if the file was moved, renamed or deleted.
your help would be much appreciated.

I knew I'd seen the solution you've provided somewhere - either in MacWorld or MacFormat - but couldn't remember the Gatekeeper bit!

While opening a file in Adobe reader 10 in Windows 7,I am getting the error as
"The maximum number of files are already open.No Other files can be opened or printed until some are closed."
Can Anyone help or suggest a setting for this ?

Hello omkar841987,
Could you please let me know how many files have you opened simultaneously.
This count will include files that are being displayed as well as opened (without being shown in the viewer).
Using Reader, you cannot make any setting for the same, but close some of the files before crossing that limit.
It also depends on your OS and memory size as you would need enough memory to open many files at a time.

Ignore the instructions about "edit options", to install Adobe Reader download the installer from http://get.adobe.com/reader/ and run the installer. Alternatively, a direct link for the latest version of Adobe Reader is:

Content generation error. Please confirm the file can be opened in InDesign?

I have been trying to upload a couple of files to a folio that was built yesterday, everytime I try to upload one of them I recieve the error message "Content generation error.Failed to open the InDesign file. Please confirm the file can be opened in InDesign." I have no idea why this is happening as one of the files was successfully uploaded to the folio yesterday and I have not made any changes to it since. I have a also restarted and trashed InDesign preferences so there are no problems there. If anyone has any answers or has experienced any similar problems could you please let me know.

That was the first thing I tried because obviously I wanted to find out if it was a problem with my file or a general issue with all uploads to that folio. It seems to be working ok now, although I still have no idea what the problem was and I have never seen that error message before :s

It's most likely damaged. USB thumb drives are not recommended for direct saving -- you should copy to the local hard drive, do your work, and copy back. If you pull the drive before the save is completed the file is toast.
Try opening the file in a plain text editor like Notepad or TextEdit and paste the first few lines (which will look like gibberish) here.

My elements 11 won't open files, can someone help?

I have photoshop elements 11. It was working and then I had to close the program and go do something else. When I turned my computer back on I couldn't get elements to open any of my files. It won't open Jpg or Raw. I've tried restarting my computer mulitple times and It hasn't changed. It still won't open files. It will freeze and then close out of the program. Can someone please help me? I just recently got this program for christmas and i'm really wanting it to work.

Please try this:
Solution 1:
1) Close Elements.
2) Hit on PSE desktop icon to launch welcome screen
3) Click Alt+Ctrl+Shift on your keyboad and with all three keys pressed click Photo editor. Do not release when you will see a dialog box asking you to delete the PSE preferences.
4) Hit ok and check now.
Solution 2:
1) Launch Editor.
2) Hit File->open and choose any small file of size < 1 MB and see if it opens fine
3) Try file->open as and choose any file and choose camera raw from file format and when shown ACR dialog box hit ok and will open file in editor.
I hope you are not importing fron any network location which might cause the process to slow or freeze depending on network settings and secutiry issues.

7d cr2 files can't open in lr2.5 acr 5.5?

Anyone can give my advice on the lightroom setting? Preferences? I might have the wrong settings because I can't open the cr2 files from the 7d. As above, I do have the lr 2.5 and acr 5.5 but still cannot open!

There is very preliminary (unofficial) support for full raw files from the 7D in LR 2.5. This means you can open full raw files in LR 2.5, but colors and other aspects of image quality may be off and definitely aren't finalized yet. This preliminary support does __not__ include S-RAW and M-RAW files, i.e., you cannot process them at all using 2.5. If you wish to process your 7D images in LR, I suggest shooting full raw files until final support in LR is available (i.e., a future update). The final support will of course allow you to open all three formats: full raw, S-RAW, and M-RAW.

E-edition freezes up with 1A.pdf The max. number of files are already open no other files can be opened or printed until some are closed , showing four of five and computer froze any I must close by shutting down manually.

My online E-Edition newspaper will freeze up after loading the front page and gives me the message that the max. number of files are already open and no other files can be printed or opened until some are closed. 1A.pdf. When you click ok it repeats itself and you have to force shutdown by holding off button. I'm totally stumped.

I have read that "1000" is default maximum for Acrobat 4 or Acrobat 5 (I don't remmember it exactly anymore). Concerning my PC and RAM. I have a high-end graphical computer at my office; so I'm sure the RAM memory is not the reason.

Office O365 prompting for credentials when opening files from OneDrive and selecting "Edit in Word"

When logged into my OneDrive IE 9 and select a word or excel file to "Edit in Word" or "Edit in Excel"I get prompted with the following Sign In message.
"Call us overprotective, but we need to verify your account again before opening this document."
When I enter my live ID and password it then asks again for my user ID and then password over and over and I can never open the document to edit in my local copy of Word or Excel 2013.
I have done the basic internet troubleshooting and deleted all my temporary internet files. I have also re-installed MS office 2013 from my O365 account without issue.
Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

I've seen this issue on Office 365 Community before, it should be like:
Some users resolved the issue by pressing the Enter key instead of clicking on the Next button, try if this works for you.
You can also try with another Web Browser if you have, if with another browser it works fine, consider to reset the Internet Explorer:
Internet Options -> Advanced -> Reset Internet Explorer Settings -> Reset.
