Captain America Steelbook order issue!

Question

I ordered the Captain America The Winter Soldier steelbook on 9/9/14. After a week of waiting I checked my order only to find out it was "processing". I called customer service and was told this had occurred to several people and was then placed on hold for nearly thirty minutes and finally spoke to who I can only assume was the manager as that is who the previous csr claimed they were going to get a hold of. I was then presented with two wonderful options, either drive two hundred miles to a store that showed this product in stock or cancel my order. Not happy with either option I asked to clarify if there was no way I was going to be having my order shipped and was then placed on hold again so she could check with someone else. Running out of time, since I was on my lunch break, and not happy with the way things were going I was forced to end the call. As an Elite+ member for several years running I spend a lot of time and money at your establishment and have never really had a problem before this. Needless to say I am very disappointed and not just in the fact that I won't be receiving my order but in the way the situation was handled by the representatives I dealt with.

I thoroughly enjoyed Captain America: Winter Soldier in the theater and I fully intend to pick up the movie as well once I get an opportunity!  I am sorry to hear that your order for our exclusive steelbook version has not shipped yet and you were not able to get enough assistance when you contacted us.
I can confirm that we are currently sold out of this item and it appears that we were unable to fulfill all the orders that we received for it.  I am currently trying to verify whether we can expect to get more of this exclusive steelbook or if it was a limited availability item.  Once I have more information regarding that, I will send you a Private Message with the information that I have.  At that time we can determine what we need to do, if anything, with your order.  You can check your Private Messages by logging into the forum and clicking on the envelope in the upper right hand corner.
