Captcha wont load in the website.

im trying to comment on the website OXMonline.com and it wont show the captcha, in other browsers it does, so I suspect its firefox.

When Firefox retrieves the script that inserts the CAPTCHA, the certificate (at least in my test) does not match so the retrieval fails silently. The certificate says it was issued for www.google.com, not for api-secure.recaptcha.net.
If you want to allow the script to run anyway, go directly to the script address, which is
https://api-secure.recaptcha.net/challenge?k=6Ldz0wYAAAAAAA5AEkGSWpUqI8_ir4G2YlFFTLKs
then you can add an exception (I wouldn't add it permanently). Then when you reload the comment form (or registration form, which is the one I viewed), the CAPTCHA should appear.
Google's pretty good at server stuff, so hopefully they will fix this soon.

Unfortunately, this sort of trouble has gotten more complicated to deal with ever since Microsoft pulled the Windows Installer CleanUp utility from their Download Center on June 25. First we have to find a copy of the utility.
Let's try Googling. (Best not to use Bing, I think.) Look for a working download site for at least version 3.0 of the Windows Installer CleanUp utility. (The results from mydigitallife and Major Geeks are worth checking.)
After downloading the utility installer file (msicuu2.exe), scan the file for malware, just in case. (I use the free version of Malwarebytes AntiMalware to do single-file scans for that.)
If the file is clean, to install the utility, doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file you've downloaded.
Now run the utility ("Start > All Programs > Windows Install Clean Up"). In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any QuickTime entries and click "Remove".
Restart the PC, and try another install. Does it go through properly this time?

Boot to the Recovery HD:
Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the COMMAND and R keys until the menu screen appears. Alternatively, restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the OPTION key until the boot manager screen appears. Select the Recovery HD and click on the downward pointing arrow button.
Repair
When the recovery menu appears select Disk Utility. After DU loads select your hard drive entry (mfgr.'s ID and drive size) from the the left side list. In the DU status area you will see an entry for the S.M.A.R.T. status of the hard drive. If it does not say "Verified" then the hard drive is failing or failed. (SMART status is not reported on external Firewire or USB drives.) If the drive is "Verified" then select your OS X volume from the list on the left (sub-entry below the drive entry,) click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. If DU reports any errors that have been fixed, then re-run Repair Disk until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported then click on the Repair Permissions button. When the process is completed, then quit DU and return to the main menu.

My Macbook wont load past the apple screen.

ok so I have a macbook from late 2007 and it's not loading past the apple screen. Yesterday it froze so decided to turn it off and it hasnt started up since. Ive tried safe mode, resetting the NVRAM/PRAM, and then i decided to restart it and press command v and a screen popped up saying.

reading this, your hdd has unfortunately died. have you backed your system up? if you have it is not as bad as it seems.
you will have to buy a new drive and simply restore to that drive from the backup.

Firefox wont load all the page

when trying to add monies to my national lottery account, the security page that validates the payment will not take the password. When trying to reset the password the page which enables this is incomplete.
(enter button displayed) so I am unable to reset. On contacting the lottery they say Oh its firefox and the page is incomplete use another link ie int ex this has persisted for over 6mnths to my knowledge, cannot a service such as yours cure it? it seems unusual to have to change links to get a page to work (It does on int explorer)

It seems you may of either in some way damaged your device or downloaded some dodgey software, my best advice is take it into repair before it gets worse, or maybe consider a upgrade for a new phone.
@livvy10 I'm sorry to say but you won't find a solution on such short notice but what you can do is try see if you can get a last minute repair for you're phone, but that's just my suggestion have a look around google for a solution but if you're phone is not loading up its most likely damge of the devices software. Ok, first thing, why are you doing anything with WAMP or XAMPP when you're running a Mac? MAMP should be what you want unless you're not explaining part of what you are trying to do.
2nd thing, I haven't used MAMP in a while, but there are two possibilities for not seeing what you want to see once you have MAMP turned on. One possibility is that you already have "Web Sharing" turned on in your Sharing Preference Pane. If that is the case, port 80 will already be taken and you'll be seeing the default Apache install (files are stored at /Library/WebServer/Documents/). This would push MAMP to either not turn on it's web serving capabilities, or to push it to another port. The other possibility is that MAMP defaults to another port anyway. So instead of localhost, you might have to type in localhost:8080 or something similar. I believe the control panel that gets installed can take you to the currently MAMP-served page, and it can also help you change which port your serving on.
80 is the default port for web serving and the ONLY port that will let you get straight to the server without having to type in webaddress.com:port# instead of just webaddress.com.

My iphone 3gs wont load past the apple logo

my iphone wont charge or turn on. occasionally it will charge for 20seconds then it will get stuck on the apple logo then the screen will light up slightly as if it is going to turn on but then it goes off and i cant do anything with it again for days on end, can anybody help or is it time for a new phone?

is the phone jailbroken? if it is, that could be the issue. if not, you should probably do a back up and then restore your iphone. if that doesn't fix it... well the phone is almost 5 years old, be happy you had it that long.

Disable the Adobe Reader plugin in Firefox (Tools > Add-ons > Plugins) and use the external Adobe Reader application or Preview application instead.

My iDVD Themes wont load and the program shuts down shortly after I choose a selection.

It's acting like it doesnt know where to look for the themes but I have deleted everything and tried to reinstall three times and it still doesnt work. It's from iLife 09. iMovie works just find but again when I try to burn to iDVD it looks for themes and shuts down.

Have you run Disk Utility to repair disk permissons after installing? Check in the Library/Application Support folder to see if there's an iDVD folder with a Themes folder inside. If not check in the ~/Library/Application Support folder.
When you find them open iDVD, go to it's Advnaced preference pane and point iDVD to the location of the themes folder.

I am new to this. I bought a IPod and instlled everything correct. I downloaded songs and they are in the library. So i checked the song that I want to send into the IPod and go to file and Update Songs To Ipod and the Ipod on the screen turns red for a second and the screen tells me Updating songs, but nothing happens! What am I doing wrong! I am about to take this back to the store and tell them I dont want it anymore. Can someone please assist me? Thank you
