Captioning for ordered prints

How can I include captions for photos that I order with iPhoto? I just sent a set away to a relative, who complained that none of the photos are labeled. Is captioning an option somewhere in the iPhoto DB? If so, where? If not, why not?

Captioning is not an option thru Apple or iPhoto. If you want to put text onto a photos you'll need to use a 3rd party editor such as Adobe Photoshop Elements.
Why not? Adding text to photos is probably a seldom asked for option in that is will obscure parts of the photo and most people don't want that. That's why having a good 3rd party editor is worthwhile.
If you want to create a contact sheet with file names and captions you can try the following:
Creating Contact Sheet with Titles and/or Comments
1 - Put the files you want to print in an album and arrange in the order you'd like.
2 - Go to the File->Export->Web Page menu option.
3 - While in the Web page window, select the number of thumbnails you'd like across each page (iPhoto will keep you informed on how many pages it will take).
4 - Click on Show Title under thumbnails and click on Export. Then select the location where you'd like the resulting files to be saved (create a temporary folder to contain them).
5 - Once saved, go the folder and open the index.html file with your browser. You will get a page with your thumbnails and titles beneath them.
6 - Print that browser page and you've got your contact sheet with file names (or comments if desired).
If you want more control over the thumbnail gallery, try using BetterHTMLExport.

Pulling up the proper tracking number for ordered printer delivery

Each year the deadline for ordering print products via iPhoto (e.g. calendars, books) is communicated on the print products page but nothing is there yet.
Does anybody what is the deadline to receive a calendar before Christmas?

If you want these line after all data in the form has been print .... add it in the last element of main window..
Else if you want it alway to print it at some fixed position at the bottom, then either
create a new window and add these lines OR Check if there is some footer window already ..if there is then you cna even you that.

Ordering Prints from LR Raw/DNG

I've got a boatload of raw/dng photos I need to print. What's a good workflow for ordering prints from an online service?
Say something like Shutterfly? Looks like there's a plugin for LR. I'd like to avoid mass converting to Jpeg/srgb... is there any service that takes a raw/proPhoto rgb? Or is that overkill?

JPG highest quality, full resolution with sRGB should be good enough for a place like Shutterfly, unless they gprovide formats for special paper, then you can convert to those, but be sure you specify they have a custom profile and no auto-adjustments are to be performed, otherwise things won’t look right since they’re likely to assume sRGB for the profile.
Raw cannot have ProPhotoRGB associated with it since it is raw sensor data not RGB data. And a raw file would be interpreted by the printing company using whatever software and settings they wanted, completely ignoring whatever you’d done in Lightroom.
What gives you the idea that you need to send raw photos, or even ProPhotoRGB photos? Is the prints going to be in glowing or fluorescent ink. I can’t imagine any other reason to use ProPhotoRGB as an image profile desitined for printed output since paper usually has a lower gamut than your monitor, even. You use ProPhotoRGB with 16-bit TIFs for intermedia or archival perposes. You wouldn’t want to use ProPhotoRGB with an 8-bit format or as a final output format for printed or display purposes since the gamut of the paper or display would be much smaller than ProPhotoRGB. Normally you use ProPhotoRGB as an intermediate format for images that will be adjusted further.

How can I get the template( word rtf ) for PO – Printed Purchase Order ?

I want to convert the “PO - Printed Purchase Order” report from Oracle rdf format to BI Publisher. I am looking for the template but could not find in UNIX.

After creating a new form,please follow the below steps..
1) Use transaction OIDF to create a New shop paper by copying a existing shop paper (Which suits your needs). Replace the SAP Script form with your new form and try to keep the same standard program. 2) Use transaction OIDG to assign the shop paper to order type.
Use transaction OIDA and OIDB to do the same two steps for the Notification.

Can I print a contact sheet that includes the caption for each photo using Photoshop Elements 13 for Mac. I previously used Photoshop Elements 6 for the PC and could do this.

I just switched to a Mac and installed Photoshop Elements 13. I previously worked with many years with Photoshop Elements 6 on a PC where I used the contact sheet function -- with each's photo's caption included -- to print print a collection of 400+ member photos for a club I belong to. This worked beautifully. I assumed I'd still have this ability with my new software, but can't figure out how to do it. Help.

Try using psd. Some rerports indicate some confustion between the apps with TIFF. See:

Possibilities for changing purchase order print behavior

Hello guys,
I'm kind of new in SAP MM and I had to deal with PDF formula for purchase order. Now I have some questions about what is possible to change behavior for printing data in purchase order print.
First of all we're using our own PDF formula which is a little bit like standard formula MEDRUCK_PO. We're using programm SAPFM06P with routine ADOBE_ENTRY_NEU, no changes in SAP standard behavior were made.
Everyhting works fine with that but we sometimes have some special cases where our user wants some other behavior. Can you please say if it is possible and if so where to do that? (Customizing, formula itself)
1. Changes in purchase order positions -> We have for example 4 purchase order positions. Now for one of them the price has changed. When printing formula then, you only see the changed order position. When you want to see all, user has to change some detail in every of the other positions, thats pretty annoying.
2. Header text 'Changes in purchase order' -> Sometimes the header text is displayed as 'Changes in purchase order', sometimes as "normal" 'Purchase order'. I know it has something to do with status (field DRUVO) of purchase order, but its not clear when which status is set. Any help? :-)
3. Deleted positions -> How is the standard behavior when a position is deleted? I think it will not be listed anymore in the positions printout. Anyway I can control it by catching LOEKZ field. But how is it with the total value field in sum data. I think it still is the whole value including the deleted positions. Is this changeable?
I know there is some customizing in SPRO -> Materials Management -> Purchasing -> Messages
but I'm not quite sure how it works :-(

SAP can differentiate between a new created purchase order and an existing purchase order that only got changed.
Based on that it can be customized whether you print the full purchase order or only the part that was changed, and accordingly you may get different texts on your form (... 'Changes in purchase order', sometimes as "normal" 'Purchase order'.)
A deletion of a PO item is as well a change. If you decided to print only a change message, then you get a print having the item number and a text *** item deleted *** or similar based on your customizing.
But if you decided to print the full PO in both cases (creation and change), then you get the full PO but the deleted item is no longer among them and no hint either that it was deleted..
Basically this setting is made in SPRO -> Materials Management -> Purchasing -> Messages -> Output Control -> Message Types -> Define Message Types for Purchase Order

How to know which Smart-Form is being used for Purchase Order print output

How to find which Smart-Form and and methods/program being used for Purchase Order print output in SRM ?
In ECC we have tcode NACE where we can check all the details.Is there something similar in SRM ?

There is no similar transaction in SRM for your purpose. Usually if the customers customize the smartforms, they would choose to use their own form by implementing BADI BBP_OUTPUT_CHANGE_SF. Take a look into your system and see if this BADI is implemented. If so, debug it (by pressing "Print Preview" for a PO for example) and find out what form it is using. Or, if the BADI is not implemented, by default, the system uses form BBP_PO.
