Captions of photos in Yahoo cover the bottom part of pic. Makes it hard to read text and also can't see whole photo. Tried reset Firefox but that didn't work.
When going through photo galleries on Yahoo (in news, omg, etc.) the caption is displayed on top of the bottom 'fifth' of the photo. (The caption should be below the entire photo.) The way the pations are overlayed makes it difficult to read the text of the caption and worse, it makes it almost impossible to see the lower fifth of the photo. I tried resetting Firefox but that didn't change anything. I can't find any yahoo settings or OS X display setting that changed this. I'm using Firefox 25 on a macbook air running OS X 10. Are there any firefox settings that would improve this? Thanks.
You can also try to reset the page zoom on pages that cause problems.

If you have made changes to Advanced font settings like increasing the minimum/default font size then try the default minimum setting "none" and the default font size 16 in case the current setting is causing problems.
*Firefox > Preferences > Content : Fonts & Colors > Advanced > Minimum Font Size (none)
Make sure that you allow pages to choose their own fonts.
*Firefox > Preferences > Content : Fonts & Colors > Advanced: [X] "Allow pages to choose their own fonts, instead of my selections above"

I accidently "x" off the download of firefox 4 before it had finished and now the home page doesn't work. it loads but then wont let me search from it? i tried redownloading firefox but that didn't work is there a way i can resume the previous download?

You can check that via Help > About Firefox and on the Help > Troubleshooting Information page.
A possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process.

If you posted from another computer then download the full version and uninstall the currently installed version.
Download a fresh Firefox copy and save the file to the desktop.

How can I remove icons from the Finder sidebar? Transferred info from my Mac Pro desktop computer (using target mode) and there were folder icons on the Mac Pro Finder sidebar that are now on the MacBook Finder sidebar, even though these folders do not exist on the MacBook. Tried to drag them off, which is the usual way to get rid of folders that the user adds to the sidebar (as opposed to those that can be added via the Customize Toolbar dropdown menu) but was unsuccessful. I then unchecked all of the Customize Toolbar menu items and the folder icons still remained. What else can I do?
Did you hold the Command (Apple) key while dragging them off the sidebar? That usually makes them go *poof*.

In addition to my last post, here is the solution for fixing this problem without syncing your contacts with icloud.
It takes about 2 minutes and permanently solves the problem so you can start adding and editing your contacts again on IOS 5.1.1!
Basically you just need to follow these steps from the Settings page:
Enable Airplane Mode
Go to iCloud settings
Turn on Contacts
Agree to 'Merge Contact'
Wait for pop up to confim iCloud contacts are on
Turn off Contacts
Confirm that you want to Keep your Contact on the iPhone
Wait for pop up to confim iCloud contacts are off
Disable Airplane Mode
Airplane Mode temporarily blocks all phone signal/data to stop your contacts merging with icloud.

I dropped 2 photos side by side (before and after shot) in Pages.
When I went to upload the photos on a website, message said
"Not an allowed file type". I then converted the Pages document into a PDF,
but that didn't work either. Is there a way to convert it to a JPEG? I didn't see

My MacBook Pro won't connect to the Internet via wifi but it worked fine on ethernet cord...I tried running diagnostic but it didn't work:(((( it happen every time if I restart the modem and/or router.. Any idea how to fix this?

I have a iPod touch 4th gen. And I cannot get into the Internet I get a message that say cannot connect to server. The other computer and my iPad still work with the Internet . I have reeked to reset it but that does not work. Please help me.
I do not know wat "reeked to reset" means.
Try the following:
- Reset the iPod. Nothing will be lost
Reset iPod touch: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears
- Power off and then on your router.
- Reset network settings: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings

Google calendar is getting the error "Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete." I have tried disabling cookies, clearing cookies and cache but that didn't work.
Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.

How do I to get Siri to spell Shawn correctly? None of the "tips" I've seen so far work. I tried changing the phonetic first name but that didn't work. I tried adding another dictionary but that didn't work either. I spell his name but Siri sows it as SH A WN (or something like that). Thanks
Hi Susie, I use Norton 360 and have the latest Firefox 8 installed is working fine for me. If you have a 3GS, you can only install iOS 6.1.3 which is the current version of iOS for the device. -
all of sudden my iphone 4s any picture I take outside I cannot forward via email or text and I can only see it, in the camera roll. When I try to open the picture full screen it is blank. Anyone have any ideas to fix it?
Close out of the camera app, double tap the home button and completely close out of the app.
Then do a reset, no data loss. Hold down the home/sleep button together until you see the apple logo and then release, then wait for the phone to boot back up.
Then check your camera roll again. -
