Captivate 4 ACE Prep Materials

Hi Folks,
I am trying to find quality prep materials for the Captivate ACE test. There are numerous outlets for Captivate 3 but only 2 for Captivate 4 and they appear to be brain dumps rather than a quality prep package. Do you think that the Captivate 3 material is close enough to Captivate 4? I really like the package available from Ucertify (they claim to be brain dump free), but they only have Captivate 3 available.

I passed the Captivate 4 ACE last night. I found the best help was to study the Topic Areas and Objectives on the Adobe Product Proficiency Exam Bulletin and run a blank CP4 project while going through each objective.
Hey...Anyone know how long it takes for the Adobe ACE Web Login form to recognize your name and information?
Or is this page even working???
It won't recognize the exam info I enter.
Any ACE people tried accessing this lately?

DreamWeaver CS3 Ace Prep Materials

Hello, New to this site forum. I Have Adobe creative suites
CS3 (not Master collection). I have been working allot with
Dreamweaver. I have been using Classroom in a book as my primary
source for learning. It has lots of typos in the book. Things like
asking you to click on something in the lessons files that doesn't
match whats in the book.As well as many other situations. All in
all its pretty good as it has made be pretty familar with how the
basics of the program works. However the lady that wrote the PS CS3
Classroom in a book would of done a much better job. The DW Class
in a book is like reading a phone book!
I want to learn as much as I can sio I am ready to take the
ACE test. At $150.00 a pop failing isn't an option for me. I cannot
find any syllabus or pool of possible questions and answers, ect.
There are only 2 places that are certified thru Adobe to give the
tests, good thing they have plenty of testing locations.
If there is anyone that has a DW CS3 prep materials they no
longer need, or know of a place that they are posted on the WEB. I
would greatly appreciate your help. a Little history about me, I am
not a student, I am not a business. I am just a 38 year old man
trying my best to live my dream of opening my own graphic design
studio. I love Adobe products and have made great sacrifice to
purchase these programs. I want to know all I can and offer
certified credentials to my potential clients.
Are any of you Ace certified? Do you see a real benefit? I

HTML,
CSS,
client-side scripts,
server-side scripts,
connecting to databases,
the various behaviors panels,
working with forms,
working with Templates,
and all other aspects of the DW software version you are being tested on.
In contrast, the Adobe Certified Associate (ACA) exam is more of an intro level exam & not nearly as complex. It measures basic proficiency with your chosen product. As such the preparation is not too rigorous either. Below you will find the ACA Prep Guides for DW CS3 - CS6.

I am interested in taking the Adobe Certification Expert exam and am trying to purchase the study materials on the Adobe Marketplace however when trying to purchase the following material, the price is in dollars and doesn't appear to have an option for UK users:

70-410 Prep Materials and Tips

Anyone have any suggestions for study material on 70-410? All the books on Amazon that I've come across all have low reviews and I'd rather not waste time and money on material that's filled with incorrect information which is what a lot of those reviews
are saying about those books on amazon.

Hey guys thanks for responding, sadly though both of those suggestions were two of the three books that I was saying had bad reviews. These reviews are from Amazon so if that's were you got your books and happy with them you guys should go on there and
post reviews talking about how awesome the books are. From what the reviews say those books have a lack of exercises (labs) as well as not enough information. It's suggested that other material like CBT Nuggs or a Q and A book would be needed in addition to
those books. Personally I've obtained my current MCSE and other certs without using Q and A tools and by getting either the Microsoft Press or Sybex books along with a copy of the OS(s) needed in order to follow all the labs then run through those labs and
any others I could come up with until I'm sick of them. So in short a book with plenty of labs in each chapter is very important to me, I learn better doing. But again thanks for the suggestions and I will keep them in mind if I can't find exactly what I'm
looking for.

DWCS6 ACA exam prep?

Hello everyone,
i'm going to get the ACA certification about Dreamweaver CS6. To be more prepared, i completed the "courses" with "Dreamweaver CS6 Classroom in a book" and "Introduction to Adobe Dreamweaver CS6 with ACA Certification", i followed guides and so on. Now i'd like to book that exam but i'm not completely sure that i know all the necessary to pass. Checking around i saw that there are sites that offer t-prep or something like that, simulations of the exam with examples and explanations. Thi, over all, for the ACE exam... and i couldn't find the ACA one!
Anyone knows a site where i can buy a license or something like that for this kind of simulation? Or at least, is there a good site where i can practice more (or another book that prepares me better than those, maybe.... not saying they're bad, but i'm not confident in my preparation).

EDIT: i'm thinking about getting the ACE prep exam.... would it be a wise choice? I imagine that, once you're ready for an ACE exam, the ACA is going to be a walk in the park... or am i wrong?

Some thoughts on the dearth of training materials for the new MCSE certifications

Mostly this is venting... while it would be nice to see some remediation, I have no such expectations.
Given that Windows Server 2012 was GA 15 months ago, I'm severely disappointed at the lack of published training guides targeted to the MCSA and MCSE certifications (most notably the 70-413 and 70-414), and specifically with respect to the objectives involving
System Center that are included in those examinations.
I used the Exam Ref by Steve Suehring, and frankly was quite disappointed, although I'm not sure whether to blame the book, or the question pool on the exam. What I did observe was that a significant percentage of the concepts discussed in the Exam Ref book,
and ostensibly in the objectives for the exam, were not actually touched at all by the exam. More significantly, I encountered concepts on the exam that were not even mentioned in the Exam Ref. Presumably the Training Guide (700 pages) will go into much more
detail (e.g. the exam I encountered seemed very heavy with respect to Active Directory Site design), but it won't be available until April (at the earliest).
Further, there's nothing available in the realm of preparation materials for the 70-414. The Exam Ref was supposed to be available in September 2013. (The O'Reilly site says March 2014, but the MS Exam Page is not yet updated.) Who knows when it
will really be available, and I don't even see a mention of an actual Training Guide for this exam.
Adding insult to injury, I bought into the special last spring to take the -417, -413, and -414 (which expires tomorrow), and have been unsuccessful at passing the -413 (due to the poor prep materials) and didn't even consider the -414 (due to the non-existent
prep materials). Frankly, I feel very ripped off -- (And if the actual questions on the -413 compared to the Exam Ref are any guide, I'm not particularly encouraged by the eventual availability of the -414 Exam Ref.)
I do see where there's still a discount package available (including 2nd shots) for the MCSE: Server Infrastructure ($255 for both exams plus 2nd shots), available until May 31, 2014-- and expire on December 31, 2014. I think I'll wait until May and see
if [a] the -413 Training Guide gets published and [b] what the "master plan" will be for training for the -414.
Btw.. it seems the prospects are no better for the MCSE: Private Cloud exams either.

For post-production and audio work, having a quieter computer is one of the reasons I ordered a Mac Pro - quieter is good. And as my MDD dual 867Mhz is now as long in the tooth as I am, it couldn't come at a better time. I was really contemplating buying a quad G5 the past 6 months, but then heard the professional desktop would come out during the developer's conference, and I'm glad I waited. The price is absolutely - and insanely - great. Mine should be here on the 15th, and I'll be counting the hours. As for the risers, I'm willing to endure a few nanoseconds as a trade-off.

Adobe website suggests there's only a recertification exam for this version:

But, Person VUE website clearly shows there IS such a test. I asked them and got this answer:

I'm confused.

I'm just guessing here, but I think the test prep materials are only available for the CS6 and the CC exam. I would study both. If Pearson schedules the test and takes your payment then they have the test or an equivalency test for CC recertification and CS6. That is what makes sense to me.

SAP Certification exam questions come from the course material so the best way to study is directly from the course materials. Information about the areas that you need to study and sample test questions are available from the following web site.

To my knowledge, while you may be able to book an exam online, you have to go to an proctored physical exam location. Exams are computer based and you get your results immediately, but they can not be taken remotely.
If you're in Asia Pacific, you'll need to take your training from one of the Authorized Training Partners in order to sit for the exam unless you have 2 full implementations and an authorized implementation partner to sponsor you. (Assuming the policy is the same for Business Object certifications as for SAP Certifications.)

I am referening an excercise from TechEd 08 contents. Is there any place from where I can get the solution contents for working the excercises?
For example the excercise "BPM360_Solution_Modeling a Business Process Using SAP NetWeaver BPM and SAP NetWeaver CE 7.1.1 EHP1" refers to a development component "bpm360_wd_sol" in page number 23. Where can I get these DCs mentioned in such excercises.

Using student guides to walk through an implementation vs. using online documentation

Hello,
I am a student, my experience in the field is limited, but I personally feel that the student guides are far easier to understand and grasp than many pieces of online documentation located on Cisco's website. But now there is a trend not to create student PDFs for student guides. So I wanted to get some feedback as to how people feel about this issue.
My feeling is that you can't use physical books in the field to implement projects its just too inconvenient to carry all those books and they are not searchable. Also the online resources on Cisco's website don't read anything like the student guides. The student guides tend to group similar information together and they tend to highlight information with a power point feel to them. They also tend to be written in a more easy to read manner.
But again if you don't have a digital copy however well its written doesn't really matter because you won't be using it.

CLD Recertification

When I took the CLD certification exam 2 years ago I was able to find practice exams and study guides posted on the NI site. My understanding is that the CLD Recertification exam is different, a multiple choice exam. Is there any recommended study material for this? I live in the LV world but not at the 8.x level, so some sort of a study guide would be beneficial.

Adobe Premiere ACA Video Communication Exam?

Has anyone taken the entry level exam? I can do everything in the exam with ease, but missed the cut by two questions and have been having problems finding anything of value to use as a suitable guide. The exam prep materials on from Adobe aren't helpful. Anyone with thoughts or suggestions, that would be great.

Welcome to the forum.
As your system setup will likely be much different from that of Konrad's, I would start a new thread, and in it, list the full system in detail, as Konrad did. This ARTICLE will give you tips on the info that would be very useful.
In Konrad's case, the C:\ was filled to about capacity, so could well have been a contributing factor. That is why full I/O specs. will be very, very useful.
