Captivate 5.5 Question: We seem to be having an issue with the screen capture piece not recording "everything".
We're running 5.5 as an administrator on Windows 7 and my co-worker is trying to capture a webinar (GoToMeeting) with Captivate and it is not recording anything in the GTM window, except the last slide. Anyone have this problem or know a fix? Not much is mentioned in the Adobe forums.
Captivate simply doesn't 'hear' some screen events on certain applications and you just need to resort to doing manual captures at these points.
I usually set up my manual capture button to be F2 so that I can hit it with my left hand while my right hand is on the mouse navigating through the task.

I've also just run into an issue where I couldn't restore an iPod with a corrupt file system, and the "super fix" in that linked article wasn't working for me. I've run across a potentially useful workaround.
iPod Classic went on the fritz today just after syncing. Couldn't restore via iTunes, kept getting 1439 errors, Windows wouldn't format as FAT32, claimed the "Volume is too big for FAT32". Finally tracked down EaseUS Partition Master Home Edition (Free) and formatted as FAT32 with 128k clusters. The iPod is filling back up again. Might be worth a shot here...

Seem to be having an issue with similar emails not being picked-up by mail

I'm running OS4 on a 3GS phone. Over the last couple of days I've noticed that when I get multiple emails in short time frames with either the same subject or from the same account (alert messages), they don't get synced to my iphone. We are using exchange with Active Sync and up until the OS upgrade, this was not an issue. I'm thinking it's related to the new threading capability (it's not showing one message with multiple threads if anyone's thinking that).
Is Anyone else seeing this? I downloaded the patch and applied it, but didn't fix this issue. I also had a problem yesterday where the phone wouldn't leave the recent callers screen (had to reboot the phone). Anyone seen this issue either?

CWhen you look at your yahoo account, is the ebay mail being held in a bulk folder? There's a Yahoo mail option to release bulk mail which Yahoo mail thinks is spam.
In preferences, do you have your mail id's set up as [email protected] (the complete email address) versus just name? Using just name will cause it to ask for the password each time.
I haven't seen the mail application available as a stand-alone download. -
I am using pages designing a flow chart, question "I seem to have an issue with the arrows that you can add text to, it appears I can not move the point of the arrows up or down they only switch from left to right.
Last point...who archives? On my regular email page I now have the Archive icon to the left of my Delete icon which I would prefer was to the left, first in the line as this is the icon I use mostly. With Folders, my Sent and Trash lists, who needs to archive?
I can help you only with the placement of the icon placement -- if you right-mouse click on the toolbar, then select Customize Toolbar, you can move an icon to where you want it to be. -
My photo stream does not seem to be working as before with the new PHOTOS update. Some of my devices are not getting the uploads/downloads, anyone have this problem?

I am just wondering about my brand new Iphone display. Normally, when you firstly take it out from tha box, you would remove these plastic films used to protect the front/back of th iphone.
This is very common.
My question is that I have notice that the screen seems to be protected by an extra film. Jut like the one you apply aftermarket to protect the screen. The only difference is that this si very well set. YOu can fell it if you try to remove with your nails but it does not come out.
Now, am I the only one noticed this? If Apple put a film to protect the screen, I should not remove it, should not I?

I notice that my new IPad (3rd generation) will not stay connected to the power cord at all, I'm not exagerating, if I plug it in and browse the Internet without fail it will become unplugged and I will have to push the plug back in (Ba-beep). Ive actually grown to despise that sound when you plug your iPhone or iPad in because it reminds me of how much money I spent on something that PHYSICALLY will not charge while I'm using it.
I know the problem with it holding a charge while in use, I get it, the screen is amazing and it takes a lot to run the display, however, it is unacceptable to me that I can't even keep the thing plugged in while I'm using it. I can not even leave it on my Cal King bed overnight because I will wake up in the morning to find that the plug has been jiggled loose in a corner, so it's still attached but not making a connection thus not being charged.
I love the 4GLTE from Verizon and I love the iPad, but I'm actually using my 1st generation IPad while I am at home so I can leave my new $900 iPad on a table to charge free of incident so I can use the 4G while I'm away from wifi during the day. I have been getting more upset about this because I can not even use the Griffin extended cord to charge the iPad and be far from the plug because only the original apple sync/charge cord will have a better shot at staying in. Absolutely none of my non apple cables will stay in the iPad 3 while having it in my hands.
The plug is at an angle, unlike the first iPad, not sure about the iPad 2. Please let me know if they have same issue.
If anyone else is having this problem with the Gen 3 iPad please let me know because I'm tempted to do something about it with apple and I'm hoping that I just for some reason have a bad cable receiver or something and maybe I can get a replacement and enjoy the iPad as I had expected to. There is no reason why I should be even using my first iPad and I have friends that want to buy it but I am not selling it because I'm unable to sell it because I can't handle the new iPad while it's plugged in, that is ridiculous if it's a common issue so please let me know!Thanks for the swift reply, I have been looking online and a loose plug seems to be somewhat of an issue with many, I hope mine is actually a problem and not what others are experiencing. Not rally a question, just wanted to share my absolute frustration with the update of iTunes...this is, without a shadow of a doubt THE WORST application i have EVER used, Mac or PC! And that's saying something with the amount of PC dross that's out there...Apple...PLEASE update and give us back the old version of iTunes...

How to download the same song(track) with different keys? iTunes seems to think I have already dowloaded the song and will not let me download the song in a different key or the Demo.

It sounds like you are unable to play a couple of songs from your library becuase you get a message that the computer is unauthorized to play, but other content purchased that same day works without issue. I would verify that the affected songs were purchased with the same Apple ID first:

Open iTunes
Highlight one of the items you have purchased (You can find your purchases in your Purchases playlist).
Choose File > Get Info.
Click the Summary tab.
The Account Name area will list the account used to purchase the item. Unless you have changed accounts, this is your iTunes Store account name.
If so, then delete the songs:

I seem to have lost fax capability with Snow Leopard.
Does not appear in Print as before. Cant find fax in System Preferences. No drivers for fax found.
Initially said it was downloading software but no longer does this. Fax test works on HP site.
