Captivate 5 New Update - Unable to delete slides

I just did an automatic updated my Captivate 5 version (Win 7 IE8) and for some reason - when I go to delete a slide
Captivate just hangs up - (I performed this function 10 times yesterday)
Captivate5.0.1.624
When I hit delete - I get the pop up message asking me to confirm that I want to delete selected slides
none of the buttons OK/Cancel/ Don't ask me again are functioning. I have to hit escape to close.
Anyone got any ideas?

If you just did the update, you may need to blow away your Captivate 5 Preferences folder as well to get a clean start again.
Locations are:
- on Xp: C:\Documents and Settings\<USER NAME>\Local Settings\Application Data\Adobe\Captivate 5
- on Vista/Win7:C:\Users\<USER NAME>\AppData\Local\Adobe\Captivate 5
- on MAC: /Users/<USER NAME>/Library/Preferences/
I'm assuming you know how to Show Hidden Files and Folders on your system so that you can see the Application Data folder.
Just delete the whole Captivate 5 folder at the locations shown above and Cp will recreate it again on next start up.
See if that sorts out the issues.

You should never update before making sure that you have everything on your device on your computer.
You should be importing pics taken with the idevice to your comptuer regularly as you would any digital camera.

If you restore from iCloud backup the apps will be automatically downloaded. If you restore from iTunes backup the apps and music have to be in the iTunes library since synced media like apps and music are not included in the backup of the iOS device that iTunes makes.

I just chose the option to set it up as a new iphone, left the same name and it now allows me to properly synch...

Captivate 6 freezes when deleting slides

Hey all,
Captivate 6.0.0.199 freezes when deleting a slides. This does not occur on another machine running the exact same version. This occurs with both new CPTX files created in CP6 and also those upgraded from CP5.
We are on Windows 7.
Any ideas? Deleting slides would be nice.

I see. Let's just try to break down the problem to simpler levels to isolate the cause.
Attempt following tests :
1) Delete just one slide
2) Delete any object from any specific slide
3) Try running capuitivate in admin mode (right click and Choose Run as Admin)
4) If you add new slides and save it and close and reopen, does it show changes made?
5) Please close all projets and just work on a single new project, add some slides, save it and try deleting
Let me know the result of these, try these after updating Captivate.

How to reset your Apple ID password.

You can download and install Acrobat 10 from : http://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/acrobat-downloads.html
and then use the purchased serial number to activate the software.

I notice that in the new update to Firefox if I have two bookmark folders with the same name Firefox will end up deleting one of them.

Both of these problems with the bookmarks started occurring after I installed the latest update to Firefox.
I frequently have bookmark folders of the same name under the older version of Firefox and it has never been a problem before. It is now, and I notice that after I've created two folders with the same name Firefox will end up deleting one of the folders, almost always the older of the two folders (the one created first, chronologically).
I have also noticed that with the new update Firefox will occasionally fail to open all bookmarks in Tabs if I've asked it to do so. I can simply close Firefox and reopen the program and it will work again, but I don't know why this bug is occuring in the first place.

You are using two IP address ranges.. which results in the printer being cut off from the other network..
Why do you have two networks?? It is always better in home situations to run one network.
If you have work setup with an enterprise level router you can setup routes between the two networks.. this is not possible on domestic level apple routers.

If you update using iTunes on your computer, you won't have to delete anything. But, to delete songs: Music App>Songs...swipe right-to-left across the song...tap Delete.

Why am I unable to delete multiple emails at once from my new iphone 4s. I could easily select all emails and delete them from my old blackberry.
The process of choosing one at a time and then deleting is crazy and very time consuming. Please help.......is there a hidden method or some add on I need?

I want to select all with one button and then select delete all with another button.
The iPhone currently cannot do that. The best you can do from the iPhone is Edit, select the emails to delete and then Delete.
Another option is to use webmail (browser) and use that interface to delete mail

I have the same problem. It's showing old podcasts that are available for download and I already watched and I don't want to see them again and I don't want them listed in my iTunes. This latest upgrade is a piece of junk so far. It destroyed my itunes podcast listing on my Windows Machine. I have no intentions of upgrading to iOS7 or my Mac until I hear that things are fixed.

iPod touches or any iDevices from Apple sync only to one computer. If you sync to a different computer, all your music will be replace with the music from the new computer's iTunes. If the music were purchased from iTunes, you can re-download them again otherwise the music on iPod touch will be deleted. Do you have iTunes backup?

I got this new updater for N8 Belle about Microsoft file, it consume 40MB of C: i was just curious that's why i tried to install it but it was useless for me,worst it did install itself in C. how can i delete this? its not listed in the "already installed" on settings.

I assume you have actually installed Microsoft Apps..
In order to remove Microsoft Apps, you need to follow the same steps as you would removing most of applications.
From the main menu: Settings > Installations > Already installed > Microsoft Apps (long tap) > Remove
Please note that the installation of Microsoft Apps would have updated some core components, and as such those cannot be removed. You might therefore notice the amount of free space on the C: drive is not the same as what you started.
If you want to start from scratch you can either flash your device, or reset it to factory settings which would put your device into shipping conditions. Before doing down this road, I would suggest you back up all your data that you want to keep with Nokia Suite, such as contacts, messages, pictures etc..
