Captivate 6 - I am unable to insert smart shapes. What could be the problem?
With the trial version of Captivate 6, I did not experience any problems inserting smart shapes. Now that I have full license, I cannot insert smart shapes. I have used smart shapes before and read the documentation and this really seems to be a very simple and straight forward task. Could you please advise?

I am unable to click on links at the top of websites. What could be the problem?
For example, in Yahoo mail, I can not click on "Log Out", "Help", "Options", "Inbox", etc. but I can click on individual messages. In Facebook, I can't click on my profile or status update but can click on the news feed. All of these work in Internet Explorer.
Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

My iphone power button is not working so today I decided to replace it, on opening few screws I was unable to continue as I was not able to open all the screws on the iphone. So far I had managed to disconnect display panel & battery only. So I decided to not to replace button myself and I closed it. After closing I am able to see iphone 5 connected to itunes and I can see all my data, however it continuesly beeping when connected to charger or computer. Also I do not see anything on display. Before opening the iphone everything was working fine now I can't see anything on screen.
I do not see any hardware demage or anything like that, can anyone suggest what could be the problem?
Please helpBasic troubleshooting from the User's Guide is reset, restart, restore (first from backup then as new). Try each of these in order until the issue is resolved.
Everything that cames in the box is included in the 1year warranty, unfortunately you're just outside of that warranty. Regardless, if the above troubleshooting does not resolve, take the device to Apple and they can determine if the issue is the device, the charger(s) or something else. -
I have a 13 inch Macbook Pro. I have bought it just 5 months back. All of a sudden, i am unable to turn the mac on. It doesn't even get Charged. What could be the issue ?
If you're unable to turn it on, let alone even charge it then it definitely sounds like a battery issue to me. I'd wait for someone else to reply just to be sure but I think somehow the battery by the sounds of it must have died. However, I could be very wrong.
If you're still under applecare which you should be then it should be an easy free fix. Hope this helps! -

Had the same problem, the only fault and the reason why it happend is a bad wifi connection!

I tried to update my iPhone 3GS with iOS, data was restored but on continue with activation in the iTunes stores, it is replying "We're sorry, we are unable to continue with your activation at this time." what could be the reason?
Hmm, well... iTunes trys to activate your iPod using the Apple server to make sure you have bought it legit.
Two things come into my mind:
1) Your iTunes can't access the internet.
2) Apples activation servers are down.
That's just my cents, maybe anyone else has an idea. -
My iPad says that she is busy and is unable to accept my request even when everything is closed and nothing is being used. What might be the problem here? 3 times my iPad has crashed while nothing was open or running and a small loading wheel would be moving signifying that the thing was loading something without permission. Even when the dang thing was on my personal wireless service that I pay for.
similar to what is happening to me....the difference is, after restoring itunes detect ipod and ask to restore again and again....
I know it may look kinda stupid but: just leave the ipod there for about 2 minutes, that's about the time my itunes is taking to detect my ipod...if it doesn't work, try connecting ur ipod to other computer with itunes (no need to sync, just to check if itunes will recognize) to check if the problem is with the ipod or with the itunes and/or computer. -

the only problem I see (BTW from the very beginning already for 3 years ) there are two sectors reallocated (visible in SMART diagonstics. the treshhold being 36). Otherwise everything seems all right, sectors. preference files. privileges,....... Do you think those two sectors make a problem now?

Smart object - what happens to the pixels when i transform?
So i place an image into an open photoshop document, using the place command, of course. it is now a smart object, my question is when i transform or resize without constrain proportions( for example only enlarge the width, the hight unchanged) resample should occur right? are there pixels added only to the width and what kind of resample method is used? oh and how about when i warp this smart object, how do its pixels behave then?

As far as I know the Image Interpolation Preference should determine the resample method.
