Captivate 6 Upgrade, Master Widget No Longer Working?

The last time I was on the forums, I was trying to find a way to quiz our learners using click boxes. We had two click boxes on one slide, the learner could choose either and it would be correct. After a lot of discussion and help, I finally bought the Interactive Master Widget. This has been extremely helpful, and I have had no problems with it, until now.
I recently did the upgrade to Captivate 6 (and I am a subscriber so I did the newest Subscription Upgrade), and the Master Widget slides are "freezing." I ran the course all the way through with no problems, but when I got to the slide with the Master Widget, I cannot click either of the click boxes, or in any area that will allow me to advance.
I have several courses that depend on the Master Widget, and they are all behaving similarly.
Any thoughts and suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Captivate 6.1 Version has changed something in the underlying code that seems to have broken ALL of the current Infosemantics interactive widgets, even though those same widgets were compatible with Capitvate 6.0 or 6.01.
We have notified Adobe about this issue and are waiting to hear back from them. At this time Infosemantics does not have a solution.

Widgets no longer work, how can I get them back?
My favorite Widgets no longer work in OS 10.8.2. I miss them. I have repaired Permissions twice and restarted computer twice, but no joy. I have downloaded them again, but no luck I want Stocks, Wunderground Weather ESPN and Radar in Motion.
Problem SOLVED!! Ran Repair Permissions and restarted the computer twice, Widgets back and functioning.

Third party contact form widgets no longer working with upgrade - PHP errors
PHP seems to be even more screwed up with the latest update/upgrade to Muse. The previous upgrade started producing the following error message when I uploaded my site via FTP:
"1 Warning - Connection to PHP file failed. Unable to check if this web server supports PHP needed by Muse forms. Be sure the domain name entered in the FTP upload dialog is correct."
However, everything worked and in participating in some queries here, it seemed to be an oddity versus anything serious (things still worked but an error message popped up for no real discernible reason)
Since the latest update, however, widgets that I have from two different companies for the purpose of emailing me through the website, sending messages, etc, are no longer working and the following message is displayed upon hitting "submit"
" Form PHP script is missing from web server, or PHP is not configured correctly on your web hosting provider. Check if the form PHP script has been uploaded correctly, then contact your hosting provider about PHP configuration."
In checking with my web host provider, I was told
"the page appears to use the script form-u31652.php which does exist on the
server.
Unfortunately that error is not specific enough to point us in the right
direction. PHP is indeed working on the server. However, looking at the
apache web server error logs I can see that the contact form appears to be
looking for a file that does not exist.
To trouble shoot this issue you will want to work with Muse to determine
why the sites coding is looking for the file
/usr/home/NAME/public_html/WEBSITE.com/null."
Any ideas what this means and how to solve this would be great. I've tried re-uploading the entire website, figuring that maybe something wasn't being uploaded via "Modified Only" but it still is happening
Thanks!That isn't what ended up fixing it, Sanjit. Thanks to this article PHP FAQ for Muse Synchronized Text and help from an online representative from Adobe, was able to troubleshoot with my web provider. Turns out the problem was that a while back Muse deleted the fcgi-bin directory (probably during the previous upgrade, as that is when the PHP errors started to surface with me and others). And it was never put back by Muse even during a clean/full reupload of the website. Had to have my web provider do it manually.

10.7.2 upgrade and Exchange no longer works
Title says it all. I upgraded to OS 10.7.2 this morning and since then, I am unable to connect to my Exchange account at work. And yes, I'm sure it's my Mac that's the problem. The servers at work are fine. My iPhone still plays well with Exchange, but my Mac Mail app won't work with the Exchange account.
I've deleted the entire account in the Mail App and set it up agian, but no luck.
This conoincided excatly with the 10.7.2 upgrade.
Anyone able to help?Yes and no with Lion OS.
I used to be able to mess with the icon size slider and this would sometimes make the preview thumbnail appear, but now since the update that trick no longer works and I just get the generic .RAW icon for all my RAW files.
In finder, view options: "show icon preview" is checked and I messed with all the other settings as well with no solution.
I never had this issue until I bought this new iMAC with Lion. My other iMacs with Snow Leopard work fine and display RAW preview thumbnails with no issues. -
Do the widgets no longer work?
After upgrading to Mountain Lion, I noticed that the weather widget and the stock widget no longer update on my Dashboard.
Is this a problem due to the upgrade? Or is there something wrong with my laptop.... ?
ThanksThere is another problem with widgets, I used to see my networked cameras (survilleance) and I still see them, but they dont refresh, so I have no idea if its live or not anymore (I can see that when I open a website with them and I see them refreshing normally there but not on dashboard) that is very annoying. They should fix that, its really bad to have websites open all the time when you can switch back and forth to dashboard and was easier.

Translation Widget No Longer Working
It feels like my computer is falling apart at the seems lately. Here is my newest annoying problem.
My translation widget (that comes standard on mac) no longer shows the accent marks, or any other foreign language (for example Japanese, Chinese, etc.) for some reason.
I have tried resetting the SMU and the PRAM. I have also tried closing the widget, deleting the plist for that files in the User/preferences folder and then opening the widget again on the dashboard, but it still doesn't work.
What can I do to fix this problem? Oh, if anyone has suggestions can you please explain them step by step. I am a still a bit computer illiterate when it comes to Macs.

If that sorts out the problem then while your widgets are active click the '+' sign and then the 'X' next to the old one to close it.. -
E3200 - do not upgrade firmware - storage no longer works and router ping goes to 1000 ms
I upgraded my firmware because I was having a lot of stability problems with the router.
Unfortunately it got worse with the firmware upgrade. There were two symptoms:
1. the router no longer recognizes the usb attached hard drive / storage
2. the throughput on the router and ping statistics are terrible unless you unplug the usb attached device (which it can't recognize any more anyway).
If I were able to roll back the firmware I definitely would.
I have had around 5 routers over the past 10 years and this is definitely the worst. Constantly needs restarting, and doesn't work as advertised.First of all, you mentioned in your post that you have already upgraded the firmware. So after firmware upgrade did you reset the gateway? It is recommended to reset the gateway once. Steps to reset the router:
Push the reset button on router for 30 seconds, turn off the router wait for 30 seconds and then power it on. Power light should blink when you perform the reset process.
After reset, reconfigure the router and then check the connectivity status of the storage.. -
Pandora Widget no longer working - how to get a web clip to work instead?
The Pandora widget was one of my favorites and now no longer seems to be working. So, I tried to make a webclip of the player and that worked fine. Awesome! But, it only works with the dashboard open and stops playing once I go back to working. Anyone know a way to keep it playing?

Ok here is how to fix your issue, go back into dashboard while hovering over your clip a little "i" shows up in the bottom right, then uncheck (only play in dashboard).

Certain codes in the stocks widget no longer work
Hi,
I use the Stocks widget to track currency exchange rates. Certain stock codes such as
USDZAR=X (US Dollar to S.African Rand)
GBPZAR=X (UK Pound to S.African Rand)
EURZAR=X (Euro to S.African Rand)
still work fine, but others stopped producing results a few months ago, such as:
XAUUSD=X (gold price in dollars)
ARSZAR=X (Argentine Peso to S.African Rand)
These stock codes validate OK, get added to the widget OK, and the graphs work OK, but the current value does not display any longer, as they still do for the other stocks.
I believe that it is the feed that is at fault, as the above stocks misbehave in exactly the same way on my iPhone, regardless of the many, many Macs I have tried it on.

Your suggested fix made no difference and Talk Talk webmail still not working.

Created alternative profiles;
Exported and Imported bookmarks - following all the instructions on mozillazine.
And:
FF 3.6 asks me to choose profile - fine;
But FF4 does not ask for profile selection.
I think the problem lies somewhere within the FF4 and Talk Talk webmail box. Back to you for your best efforts and any further advice. Thanks.

Dashboard widgets no longer work
This morning I noticed that nearly every one of the widgets that I have installed in Dashboard no longer function at all. A few still work, but all others remain blank.
I have no idea what could be causing this. There are no other symptoms - only Dashboard is affected.
Any clues?I did a safeboot and Dashboard does not work. I reinstalled the OSX 10.6.7 Combo updater and it still does not work.

Hi everyone,
I work remotely using Cisco AnyConnect (company provided) to access the company servers. Until "upgrading" to Mavericks I was able to copy files directly to my desktop – from either the servers themselves, from within Bridge, and/or by using the finder - you get the idea. Now I can only copy the files by opening them while still on the server using the native app (in my case mainly InDesign/Photoshop/Illustrator files) and saving them to my desktop that way.
I'm a designer, I use a lot of files for my specific job every day and these files are often pretty large and doing it this way is time-consuming and really frustrating seeing as I had no such issues with the previous OS. It's not a total nightmare (yet) like some of things some of you are dealing with but I've spent more time restarting, freezing and trying to fix issues than I have actually using my darned machine. I have no choice but to access my work this way; I'm part of a much larger team and we all work on these files off and on during the day so I'm constantly needing to copy files and make sure I'm working on the most current version. Working off the server isn't an option as the speed decreases considerably... making the slightest task cringingly slow. As in 25 minutes for a PDF to be created slow.
I've been used to my system running smoothly, without issues and fast so this upgrade is turning into a bit of a nightmare. Before I throw in the towel and try and downgrade, does anyone have any ideas? My technical knowledge where these things are concerned isn't beginner but I'm no expert and I'm stumped. I just don't know where to start and I'm afraid of screwing something else up during the process of trying to fix this (so far) one issue and creating a snowball effect.
I'm using a 27" iMac (late model 2012 purchased in March 2013) with a second Viewsonic monitor attached. I have a Cintiq 22HD hooked up (but not on all the time) and a Wacom tablet in use. I currently use both CS5 (work hasn't upgraded to CC yet) and Adobe CC (for personal use) on my system.
Any help/ideas would be greatly appreciated!

By default, the Remote Desktop (RD) Gateway component that encapsulates RDP in HTTPS packets listens on port 443 (for TCP) and port 3391 (for UDP). After you changed the ports in Transport Settings tab, please make sure that you have opened the custom ports
you selected in Windows Firewall.
In addition, since you have mentioned the registry key, would you please share the entire path?
It seems that you need to manually update the gateway in the RDP file with the port. Have you created an .rdp file? You can also refer to the link below:

Upgraded router VPN no longer working - LCP: timeout sending Config-Request
I recently upgraded my small office router from a Linksys WRT54G to a Linksys WRT610N. I duplicated all of the port forwarding configs from my previous router, but everytime I try to connect to my server I get the following error:
Could not negotiate a connection with the remote PPP server. Please verify your settings and try again.
The ports I have forwarded to my server are the following:
1701 UDP
500 UDP
1723 TCP
4500 UDP
While I am connecting I have been watching the log from Server Admin, and this is what I see:

ScottI am having sever issues with routers vs. VPN and I am hoping someone here can tell me how they got PPTP and L2TP working through the Apple Airport Extreme.
Basically, I used to have a cheap, old, but perfectly working Linksys router. I opened ports for PPTP and L2TP pass through and VPN worked fine. I decided to upgrade the router because I wanted something with basic firewall functionality...
I tried two new linksys products and gave up in disgust. Then I thought I had a brainwave and ordered the Apple Extreme Base Station. Well, this is almost as hopeless.
I can get PPTP to connect now but the remote clients can't connect to the AFP server. L2TP simply won't work. I have 1701, 500, 1723 and 4500 ports forwarded to my server so I don't know what I am doing wrong.
Also, I see on Apple's Server page that the Server will set up the Apple Extreme Base Station automatically??? How does this work?
Lastly, Do I want to enable NAT port mapping protocol?

Here's what the workflow looks like; you'll note the "all green" log at the bottom!
By the way, when I run it, iTunes does launch; but it doesn't play anything. And there IS a WCPE entry; it's a radio station that is in the list of radio stations/Classical and that entry has also been copied to one of my playlists.
The workflow was created as an application and it's run when I power up the Mac.

Master Keyboard no longer working in Logic 9
Hello,
Everything was working fine with my set-up, and I regularly recorded into Logic Pro ) by playing on my Master Keyboard ( Studiologic SL-900 Pro).
Then, I dismantled all my equipment to move it into another room, I've re-connected it but now, no sounds come from the keyboard.
I've checked out the Audio/Midi Set-Up and it's still showing there. I've read the Help for this, but have no idea what to do.
I'd be SO grateful for help so I can get back to work again.

MatroseYou say "no sounds come from the keyboard", but there isn't supposed to come sound from that keyboard, it's a MIDI only thing.
So, if you open Logic, start a new project with one Software instrument, does it work? Does the MIDI monitor in the Control Bar ("No In, No Out") show MIDI activity when you play keys or move the modwheel? -

Since I did the Yosemite 'upgrade' last week I have been having problems with my MacBook Pro that never happened before. The most frustrating problems involve my keyboard which doesn't light up (checked my settings and they are correct) and the top row of function keys don't do anything so I can't adjust the volume, brightness, etc. Then if my screen goes into sleep mode, when I wake it back up I have to sign back in twice - I never had to sign in at all after sleep mode before.
I'm finding that in order to get it working properly I am having to completely shut down and start up again but when the keyboard problems are happening I can't get anything on the apple dropdown to work either (i.e. shut down, restart, etc) so I can only shut down by pressing and holding the on/off button.
I've never had problems with my Macbook before and feel like Apple have completely ruined it in one update! I've had a look through other posts on here but can't find anybody else having these problems so I would be really grateful if anyone could help me and offer me some advice on how to sort it out.
