Captivate 7, sequencing quiz question, answers are not reshuffled

Hello,
I have made a quiz using Cp7. The questions are all sequencing questions. The first time around, the answers are shuffled, as one would expect. Then the quiz-taker puts the answers in the correct order. However, the following times the quiz-taker does the quiz, the answers aren't shuffled! So if the quiz-taker gets Question 1 right the first time, when he or she tries the quiz again, the answers for Question 1 are in the right order when the question first opens.
Does anyone know what's going on here?

I might just mention that I've found something of a work-around. (This won't be news to you, but others in the same boat as myself might appreciate this.) Note that this works within a very specific context, so it is by no means a complete solution. But here goes.
We run the Cp quizzes in an LMS (and that means, of course, a specific LMS). The solution works in this context. When making up a Cp quiz, I add a regular (non-question) slide after the score slide. On this slide I put a button that opens a webpage via a URL. And this URL is for the quiz itself--i.e. it is the LMS's address for the quiz. Thus, clicking the button simply restarts the quiz all over again, and this takes care of the randomization issues.
This solution has two major drawbacks:
1.The resume option has to be off.
2.The Cp quiz itself cannot keep track of the attempts at doing the quiz (since with each new retake, the counting restarts at '1').
I don't like having to do without the resume function. But in our particular case, the second issue isn't all that important. The LMS itself tracks the attempts at taking the quiz, so this information is always available both to quiz-takers and to administrators/teachers. (On the score slide itself, I simply remove the fields for the number of attempts.)
At the moment, I'm trying to come up with a solution that would allow us to retain the resume function. So far, no luck, but we'll see.

I got some help from an apple assistant on the phone. It is kind of round about way to get in.
Here is what he said to do and it is working for me...
on the device that is asking you for the security questions go to "settings", > "store" > tap the Apple ID and choose view"Apple ID" and sign in.
Tap on payment information and add a credit/debit card of your preference then select "done", in the upper right corner
sign out and back into iTunes on the device by going to "settings"> "store" > tap the Apple ID and choose "sign-out" > Tap "sign -in" > "use existing Apple ID" and you should be asked to verify your security code for the credit /debit card and NOT the security questions.
At this time you can remove the card by going back in to edit the payment info and selecting "none" as the card type then saving the changes by selecting "done". You should now be able to use your iTunes store credit without answering the security questions.
It's working for me ...I just have to put in my 3 digit security pin from the credit card I am using.

All credit cards have a security number, on the back of the card. If you don't have your card, then you will not be able to enter in that credit card. This is a standard security precaution to keep someone who gets hold of your card number but not the card itself from being able to make charges to your account. You will need to contact your bank and get a replacement card.
As to your security questions, go to:
https://appleid.apple.com/
Click "Manage My Account", sign in, and go to the Password and Security section. Answer the security questions and you'll be taken to a screen where you can then change them. If you've forgotten your answers, there should be a link just under the security questions fields where you can have a reset email sent to your Rescue email address. If the link for the email doesn't appear, as can happen if you didn't set a rescue email address or (apparently) have a .Mac email address, see the user tip created by Kappy, another user here, on how to proceed:

Questionaire answeres are not saved in opportunity

Hi,
I have create my questionaire and assigned to my transaction type (opportunity). When I go to Assessment block I am seeing this on the web client GUI. Also I was able to open it and choose the answers for the questions displayed. But when I click on Save and Back button and come again to the same questionaire my answers are not restored. How can I restore/save the answers in quetionaire?

Did you set up a Rescue email when you set up the Security Questions? If so, go into Manage AppleID, Password and Security, and click on the "reset info security email" at the bottom.
If you did not, before calling Apple Support (which you will have to do if you can't get the answers to go), go back and make sure that the security questions being asked are the ones you think they are (I made that mistake once, giving the answer to my first car when the question was what was my first concert.....)
Also, make sure you put in the entire answer - case isn't relevant, but all of the words are....
If all else fails, you have no choice but to contact Apple Support!

You won't be able to change your rescue email address until you can answer 2 of your questions, you will need to contact iTunes Support / Apple to get the questions reset.

Quiz questions answered not considered

Hello,
I created a multiple choice quiz with a few questions, but as I preview it (in a browser and in the project preview section of Cp), or publish it and play it (same places), the answers that I enter are not being considered, every time I keep getting the "You did not answer this question completely" message when I review the quiz after getting the score. The correct question is selected properly on each slide, where I click on the circle to the left of the correct question.

Your quiz question slide in this project may be corrupted. Try opening a new blank project and insert ONE multi-choice or True/false quiz question there and test the functionality. Does a new blank project work properly?
If so, delete the problem slide from your existing project and re-insert new ones to replace it. Let us know if that works.
One more thing. DO NOT REMOVE any of the default question slide text captions from quiz slides. Doing that can cause strange behaviours.

Can we sequence applications that which are not msi package?

Can we sequence an application that is not having msi, we have only exe which again needs to be tagged all together with other files while sequencing.. how can we sequence the exe applications?
can we sequence applications that are zipped having all related files within it?

Hello,
Start the sequencer.
Do as you would with an msi. But instead of double-clicking the MSI - double-click the .exe-file.
Or if you want to unzip files instead of double-clicking an MSI - simply unzip the files.

I'm trying to by a song on itunes. Telling me that I have NOT used this computer to buy before (have used it for years) Then I'm getting security questions that I have no idea what the answer could be so they are not my questions. How do I fix this?

It isn't possible to create a rescue email address without correctly answering two of the questions. Nobody on these boards can reset them for you.

'Sequence' quiz question...

I have used a Sequence quiz slide with the user having to arrange words dragging and dropping in order form top to bottom.
What I am wondering is whether you can go left to right with sequence questions, instead of the default top to bottom?
I have a set of 4 steps which I want the user to put in order from left to right, but it doesnt seem possible.

As per your question, Sequence question can only work with Drop down or Drag Drop and for Drag Drop we cannot do it Right to left or Left to Right only Top to Bottom.
