Captivate 8 Demo. Few questions i couldn't answer by myself.

I'm new with captivate and also english is not my native language so please excuse me incase you'll have hard time understanding me.
Firstly i must say that my work is kinda strict, not much space for trying out something new, most of elements and design are documented and could not be changed. So switching to another application to make courses can be tricky.
I see now that Captivate is a powerful tool, but lots of things are harder to do in it or i wasnt searching good enough.
Perhaps someone could give me few tips on this problems?
1. Its really hard to make some widgets do what you want. Many seemmingly easy things look so undecidable... One of them is Glossary widget. Is there any way to add cyrilic words in it? When i add them - nothing appears because there are only latin letters at bar text line. Maybe there is cyrrilic version for that widget?
2. Wanted to ask about pausing project from auto advancing, but suddenly auto advancing work properly when i add invisible disabled buttons on slide and stops when i want to. Still would be so cool if devs could add Stop Auto Advance option.
3. Scrollbar widget. Cant i somehow format text in more than one format?

4. Is there any possible way to add HTML tags in text captions? Also, is there a way to implement your styles (.css-file) and use it in captions? For example, i can't paint circles in marked list with needed color, that is other than text, wanted to do it with special style i used before.
5. TOC. Is there any way to move TOC on other than left or right locations?
How can i make slide names move to a next line instead of getting cut?
How can i remove "Slide Title" phrase and bookmark symbol? (using white font now to make it invisible).
6. Table widget. Is there a way to delete borders between rows or columns?

7. How can i get the variable defining number of attempts for a question? Want to place the number on slide so viewer could see how many attempts he is still having.
8. I turned off numbering in a question but now there is a huge space between circle and an answer. Is there a way to decrease this space?

A few questions I really need answered!

Hello, my name is Ryan. My Mom bought me an iPod Classic [80GB Black] and I get to open it before Christmas to put Music on it, Charge it, etc. After reading that many iPod Classic owners are having problems, I need these questions answered:
I have heard that the iPod Classic's hardrive can be heard when playing Music, and watching TV shows,etc. I want to know if mine will have this problem and if it does, can it be fixed so that I can have a great iPod?
I also would like to know how do I get the firmware updates and what do they do?
I know so far that it's in iTunes but don't know where.
When I do get the firmware updates, will it eliminate the hearing the hardrive problem?
The hearing the hardrive problem is my biggest worry. I think that I'm going to get a piece of crap iPod and going to have to return it and go through this whole process again.
My Mom bought the iPod on 12/13/07 and I was wondering if the problem has been fixed with the later batches of iPods?
Please answer these as I am opening the iPod next weekend to put Music on it, Charge it, Firmware Updates then have to open it AGAIN on Christmas.
Again, the hardrive thing is my biggest fear because I want to have an awesome iPod the first time!

Hard drive noise is practically non-existant.
Firmware updates almost happen automatically. I believe yours should have the current firmware on it (1.0.3), Mine did when I bought it on the 9th.
Lag on coverflow's just gonna happen sometimes. But it's not like it takes a whole minute, just a couple seconds if you're doing a fast scan. It's a very cool feature if you're like me and make sure to have covers for all your albums. About the only issue I seem to have with it is that it sorts by artist instead of album title thus resulting in multiple copies in the flow listing if you have different artist listings in one album. But when you click on it it shows the tracks for the whole album so it's no big deal. If you have a few albums with duplicate titles (Like "Greatest Hits") then I suggest just putting the artist name in parenthesis after the album title so you and your ipod don't get confused. Otherwise it'll show the tracks for all the "greatest hits" albums thinking it's all one album... but I think that just happens in album listing... might happen in coverflow once you select a specific album. No big deal there though, nothing to lose sleep over
I hope you enjoy your iPod and your early christmas . It was always tough for me to act surprised when I already knew what my presents were, but maybe you're better at that than me... who knows?

A few questions before I buy a new iMac/Mac mini and sign up for Creative Cloud.

Hello Everyone,
I am looking to purchase a new Apple computer and sign up for Creative Cloud within the next week and I have a few questions that should be answered before I proceed.
My wife and I own a business and we will be using the CS6 apps to create brochures, Constant Contact mailings, product package inserts, edit product photography for print and web use, and short HD how-to videos. We are not graphics professionals or power users and wont be doing anything too complicated.
Any help and answers will be greatly appreciated.
I will start with the hardware questions first:
I am trying to decide between the iMac and the Mac mini.
The iMac is a 2.7Ghz Quad-core Intel core i5 and comes with 4GB of memory that is expandable to 16GB, which I will do for sure. It comes with a Radeon HD 6770M graphics card with 512MB of GDDR5 memory(not upgradable), and a 1TB HDD that runs at 7200RPM. This unit meets the specs required.
The 2.5Ghz Mac Mini comes with 4GB of memory that is expandable to 8GB, I will also do this. It has a Radeon HD 6630M graphics card with 256MB of GDDR5 memory(not upgradable), and a 500GB HDD that runs at 5400RPM. This unit meets all the spec(I think) except for the speed of the HDD.
Question: Will the mini run the software without too much of an issue considering the speed of the HDD?
Question: Will the iMac run the software significantly better to justify the price difference?
I already have 1 mini(purchased 4 months ago, with the same specs listed above) and will be purchasing a second computer for my wifes desk. If the mini will run CS6 fine, that is great and we can save a few bucks. If my mini will not run CS6 well, I will get the iMac for her desk as she will be doing the bulk of the work in that regard anyway.
Now a couple of software questions.
After reading hundreds of reviews and forum posts over the last few days I have seen many people having this or that issue. It seems to me that most of the issues are because of upgrades from Lion to Mountian Lion after installing CS6 first or trying to open CS3,4,5 files in CS6.

I am not a computer professional but I know enough to maintain my systems and keep them running smoothly.
We do not have any Adobe software installed on my mini and will not be opening any files from previous versions of Adobe product in the new CS6 software. These will be a clean installs on pristine systems running fully updated Mountian Lion OS's on both machines and creating new files from scratch.
Question: Should I be expecting any issues like the ones I have read in the forums and blogs or are these just the normal things that happen when upgrading to new software with multiple hardware configurations?
My feeling is that we will not be having too much of a problem due to the clean installs and no files from previous versions.
Next up, the Creative Cloud(CC) FAQ states that you can install on 2 machines but can't open stuff at the same time.
Question: Does this mean we can't be using any CS6 apps at the same time or just not using the same app at the same time?
Example: PS and PS on both machines at same time = No, PS on one and Dreamweaver on the other at the same time=Yes?
The CC FAQ page says Adobe will add Lightroom 4 later in 2012 while the main CC page lists it as available now.
Question: Which is true?
My mini is registered to me, with my name, iTunes account, Apple ID etc.
Question: Do I need to do the initial set-up of the new machine with all my information to ensure the CS6 suite works on both machines? Do the computers need to be registered(as far as Apple configuration is concerned) to same person for them to work on one CC account or can I install CS6 on any 2 machines regardless of how they were initially set-up?
This may seem like a silly question but I want to avoid any problems before they happen.

I'll try and answer your questions as best I can.
Qn 1 Which Mac.
Ans:- As I understand it both units will run Adobe CS6.
          Which one really depends on what you wand from CS6. If you are looking for high end demand and performance, then I would go for the IMac
          Your Specs for the Imac are right. However if you buy your IMac straight from Apple there are even higher specs.
          You can get:-
                              3.4 GHz i7 processor rather than the i5
                               2GB video card as opposed to a 1Gb video card.
                               Of course such a model will cost you more.
          In the end it is needs compared with money to spend. That is only a decision you cam make.
Q2:- Will the higher cost for the Imac justify copst.
Ans:- Again it depends on what demands you intend to make on the hardware and software.
          But I note you have a business and if that businees expects to high demand and high speedy performance then I suspect the Imac would be more able to provide your needs.
          Again only you will know the answer to that.
Q3:- Questions about CS6 reliability
Ans:- I have been with Adobe for way over 10 years.
         Speaking, only for myself, it is the most reliable software on the market.
          It is true that if you look down this form, like any other and I am thinking about the Apple discussions forum, you will find numerous instances of problems.
          Again this is only my opinion, but although all these problems are real for the individuals:-
          First it is not clear why they have the problem e.g. what have they done or not done.
          Second, they are in the minority of the total users using the hardware / software.
          The only problem I am aware of with CS6 is Acrobat X. I understand it has been sorted Adobe, however it cost me so much work I have removed it from my system and reverted to Acrobat 9
          So what I am saying is that there are only two comapnies I rely 100% on: They are Adobe and Apple.
         So if you are happy with my opinion I would not worry about Adobe CS6
Qn 4:- CS6 0n 2 machines.
Ans:- Yes you will not be able to run the same program similtaneosly.
           I believe, if it is important that you do run the same program together, that you can acquire a further licience from Adobe to do that.
           You would need to contact Adobe about that.
Qn 5:- Lightroom 4
Ans:- Lightroom is now available as part of Creative Cloud.
Qn 6:- Set up for individual machines
Ans:- I do not believe you do. Once you have set up your Creative Cloud account you go to the apps site and download the apps for each machine.
          Each machine downloads the apps and your machine and the apps are registered by Adobe.
         Here is something that you may want to know:-
          Because I was so unhappy loosing all the Acrobat data with Acrobat X I ended up deleting Acrobat X
          However as far as Creative Cloud is concered Acrobat X is still on my machine.
          It is not a problem for me because I am happy with Acrobat 9, it fullfils my needs and has not crashed and lost me all my bookmarks.
          However here is the point:-
          Adobe, when there was a problem with Acrobat X requested that no-one deletes the application.
         Though I do not know for certain I believe registration of the apps you have with Creative Cloud are registered with Creative Cloud in their database. Therefore were you to delete an app, it will still be registered with Creative Cloud and you will not be able to download a further copy even though the app is no longer on your    machine.
          Therefore it maybe not a good idea to delete an app when you no longer have a use for it. If you want it back I suspect you will have to contact Adobe Support
Personal Comment:-
          It is true many unfortunately have had all sorts of problems, including me with Acrobat X.
          That said, Creative Cloud in my view has been a major advance in how Adobe delivers software. I have no regrets with signing up to Creative Cloud and I expect to remain with it.

Considering a Mac Pro - Few Question

I am disappointed with my Intel iMac due to lack of USB ports (hubs don't work with some of my usb hardware) and the ridiculous audio/optical combo port. So I think I may go Mac Pro when Leopard is released. A few questions need to be answered if you would be so kind. A few caveats first...
A) Mac Pros are expensive for me, so I need to save money where I am able.
B) The Mac Pro will double as a media player for my Home Theater system. I have a connection for DVI and Toslink
OK, now the questions...
1. Does the Mac Pro come with the trays for the extra hard drives? I would like to purchase more drives separately. Can I do this, and what type of drives are used, SATA?
2. RAM from Apple is expensive. Is there a less costly alternative? It must be a dependable brand. Please include part number if available. Thanks!
3. Will reduction from 2.66 to 2.0 ghz make that much difference? I like grinding MP2 videos to H.264. Really, will it be worth the additional $264?
4. I can use both DVI or HDMI to go to my Home Theater system. Currently, starting the Home Theater changes the resolution on my iMac. I would like to avoid this. Should I get another NVIDIA GeForce 7300 GT, or will the dual port on the one card be able to be set to a different resolution output? I would like to be able to still work on my Mac while the kids are watching something in the theater.
5. As for audio, will I be able to run headphones, external speakers and optical out all at the same time? I am assuming yes, but just want to make sure.
6. I am also assuming the Mac Pros are quiet. Noise is one of my biggest enemies since I do quite a bit of audio work. I have not heard a single complaint regarding noise from Mac Pros. Are they that quiet?

You should be able to run different resolutions on the built-in display and external display if Mirroring is turned off in "Displays" System Preference.

The optical out uses the same socket al the audio out, so you can't use both at once. You could add an iMic <http://www.griffintechnology.com/products/imic/> to get an additional audio output. There are also other PCI-Express, FireWire, or USB audio interfaces available.
You can also use an AirPort Express for audio output. It is designed for iTunes, but Airfoil <http://www.rogueamoeba.com/airfoil/mac/> will send any audio to it.
You may need Audio Hijack Pro <http://rogueamoeba.com/audiohijackpro/> for different applications to send audio to different, or multiple, outputs simultaneously.
You may also want to consider the Apple TV <http://www.apple.com/appletv/> for audio and video connections to your home theater.

Few questions about nokia lumia 720...

I recently bought a Nokia Lumia 720 and have a few questions I would like answering...
Why do we need to link our phone to a microsoft account? What if you dont want to link your email and your phone contacts? My phone is now full of useless numbers of people I havent spoken to\want to speak to.
Where do I report bugs that I find with the phone? I have found a few.
Why cant I sign into Skype without linking to a microsoft account too? [same issue as before]
It would also be good if we could assign custom ring tones... I thought this would have been a standard feature.

As I said, you can either set up a separate MS account just for the phone or you can filter you contacts under People > Settings > Filter contact lists so that you see only the ones you want to see. Linking to a cloud account is extremely useful for keeping a backup and for restoring the phone if you lose, change or simpley have to hard reset it. A friend lost his Lumia while travelling abroad, bought a new one on the spot, found a free wifi network and had all his contacts, messages and apps installed and running within half an hour.
I don't understand your last point - if you mean restart the phone when it is frozen for any reason, that can be done by holding both the Power and Volume Down button pressed for maybe 10-15 seconds until the phone vibrates and restarts. That is usually called a soft reset and you do not lose any settings or data except the date and time settings which you need to set again manually. Otherwise you can simply turn the phone Off and On by holding the Power button pressed.

Skype for 8520 and other BB version's / Question needed to be answered by Blackberry support for everyone!

This is a question that seriously needs answering for myself and other BB customer's.
Personally the only reason I have a BB is because I can have window's live messenger on it, But WLM is closing in April and updating to skype, Meaning everyone who use's WLM that their contact's will be going there and not to any other network!
Now I've read from what I've researched that BB maybe will be joining with oovoo something like that, Why when that is not where people's MSN/Hotmail contact's will be going ?
BB paying customer's to BB product's want access to there MSN/Hotmail contact's not to be diverted to another service that does not have their MSN/Hotmail contact's.
Also I have seen that skype or something along those line's will be available for the new BB 10, So what about earlier product's such as BB curve 8520 that I personally own myself that has nothing wrong with it?
So us paying BB customer's are going to be excluded because we don't have a brand new version of BB due to there being nothing wrong with the BB's we have? Which so were going to be penalized?
I would like these question's answered please because I am not happy about this and I'm sure a lot of other BB customer's are not too, It's not anyone's fault that WLM is going to be taken away but atleast make sure that BB customer's have a skype app to access their MSN/Hotmail contact's and can conversant with them directly like WLM.
Honestly I love my BB and wouldn't be without it purely because I'm able to log in WLM when I like, Where ever I am and talk to my contact's directly, Not all people have BB's and can not be added to BB messenger which is why WLM is a priority on BB app's for BB customer's, Is something going to be done about this? Because if not then that is just wrong which will result in many valued BB customer's changing to other phone's purely because out of being penalized of not having the newer version of BB 10 or not having skype at all regardless of IM+, We should have a direct Skype app and be able to have direct gain to our MSN/Hotmail contact's like we did on WLM.
So can someone answer this please and give us BB customer's confirmation on what is going to happen, Thank you.

The answer is actually simple...example...6.0.0.415 for a 9860 is very different from 6.0.0.415 for a 9670. Hence, the app developers must port their apps to every combination of (usually) major OS level (e.g., 6.0, 7.0, 7.1) and specific device model number. That's a lot of combinations to which they must port their app...and many choose to not do them all. But the choice is the app developers.

1. How much is it for one copy? I am finding it hard to understand the prices. I would just like Captivate if possible.
2. Can it be downloaded through the internet?
3. I need to create a project in dreamweaver - can captivate quizzes be imported into dreamweaver?

The answer to that is "It depends". I understand it's less expensive if you live in US. Higher elsewhere. Additonally there is a discount if you are a student. Another discount if it's an upgrade or an outright purchase.
If you don't have an older version and you aren't a student, it appears to be $799 for an outright purchase or $299 to upgrade.

Indeed Adobe does offer a downloadable install.

Captivate creates SWF output files just like Flash does. So you would insert Captivate content on Dreamweaver pages in the same way you would insert other Flash content.

A few questions about the Zen Mi

I'm looking into the Zen Micro 5GB, and I have a few questions that I couldn't find on the sight or aren't completely sure of. Sorry if I'm just blind and didn't see them, but I figured you guys could help.
) How do you charge the battery? I'm assuming its with some sort of adapter, and if so, is it included with the player?
2) It says Windows 98SE is compatible, so does this mean regular Windows 98 won't work at all? I'm currently using W98 but will probably be upgrading soon so it chouldn't be too much of a problem, but if W98 is supported I could order it sooner.
3) Will it work in tandem with a cassette adapter for a car? A cassette adapter isn't on the accessories page, but will one I already own work just fine?
Those are all I can think of right now, thanks in advance for your help, and feel free to leave any comments about the player that any of you have.

the headphone jack problem is not really fixed. If you rather not have it happen to early, i would suggest you take really good care of your ZM's headphone jack. Just take good care of it. But the headphone jack problem may occur at any point, i dunno why. it is very strange, some owners are lucky that the problem will occur in 6-2 months or maybe not at all for now. There are some owners that are unlucky that the problem may occurred like 2 weeks to couople months. I am currently trying to take really good care of my ZM after all the great lessons i learned from my previous mp3 players.
the headphone jack problem isn't fix, so be cautious a bit.

A few questions regarding my new iPhone

A few questions:
1. I notice that if I am browsing a second page on my browser for about a minute and then navigate back to my first page... it's "blanked out" and am forced to refresh. Is this normal? Any way around this? Not particularly useful when on Meebo or when I'm trying to compare movie time on two different movie theatres.
2. Is there any way to save images from a site or from an email to my phone? I know I can't receive MMS so I thought I'd email me a picture to add it to my contacts and couldn't find a way. I also browsed online for an image and couldn't save it nor add it to a contact either. Any way to do this? I had to wait to get home and sync the images to my phone.
3. I noticed that the iPhone's connector is the same as my iPod's connector, but if I plug it into my iPod's dock, a warning comes up that warns me it's not designed for the iPhone. Will I harm my iPhone if I plug it into my car charger, wall charger, dock that's AVed into my TV? I'm just really worried that it'll screw my phone up.
4. I read somehwere I can open PDF's on my iPhone. Can I save a PDF to my phone and open it somehow?

Not supported from a website or from a received messages. You must do as provided with your last sentence - at the present time anyway.

If you get this warning you shouldn't ignore it. Even though the connection type might be the same, if the device is not compatible with the iPhone it can cause problems or potential damage. There are auto chargers that specifically indicated - made for or compatible with the iPhone. I purchased a car charger that is compatible with my iPhone and with my iPod with video.
You can alway check with the manufacturer of the device to determine if the device is also compatible with the iPhone regardless the warning but this should be in writing via their website or provided via email.
4. I read somehwere I can open PDF's on my iPhone. Can I save a PDF to my phone and open it somehow?
You can view PDF, Word and Excel documents attached to a received email from within the received message but you can't save the attachments outside of the message.

Few questions about iPhone 4S

Recently I got an iPhone 4S, it is my first new phone in a long time, before this I had an old nokia, so I just have a few questions about it.
I havve read a alot of horror stories about the 4S battery life, mine seems ok, here is what I would like to know
1) How long should a healthy battery last?
2) how long should it take to charge to 100% from 1 or 2%?
On my daily commute I use listen it to music and sometimes user twiiter/facebook. I also get alerted of emails when they come in. So far it has just about lasted just about two days maybe before I had to recharge. Is this about right? As stated above I am coming from an old nokia, which is very dated now but the battery lasted almost a week before I had to charge, so having to charge my phone this often is new to me. My iPhone is really great and I just don't want any problems. I have turned off all extras that I don't need.
BTW are the iPhone 4S battery issues a software or hardware issue?

Few questions about Calendar / SimpleDateFormat classes

I have few questions about Calendar class:
1. How can I get only date representation (without the time)?
after doing:
Calendar cal = Calendar.getInstance();
I tried to clear unecessary fields:
cal.clear(Calendar.SECOND);
cal.clear(Calendar.MINUTE);
cal.clear(Calendar.HOUR_OF_DAY);
But after printing the time, it seems that the HOUR was not cleared:
SimpleDateFormat sdf1 = new SimpleDateFormat("dd/MM/yyyy HH:mm:ss");
System.out.println(sdf1.format(cal.getTime()));
---> 03/11/2004 17:00:00
Am I missing somthing?
2. I want to make sure that two different formats couldn't be compared. i.e., if I'll try to parse one String according to different format -- ParseException will be thrown.
String date = "19/04/2004 13:06:10";
SimpleDateFormat sdf = new SimpleDateFormat("dd/MM/yyyy");
Date dateObj = sdf.parse(date);
However, even though that formats are different, no exception is thrown and the return Date is 19/04/2004 00:00:00.
How can I cause to exception to be thrown if formats are not identical?

The Calendar class has a few of what Microsoft would call 'features'. :^)
To clear the time, call:
calendar.set(calendar.get(Calendar.YEAR), calendar.get(Calendar.MONTH), calendar.get(Calendar.DAY), 0, 0, 0);
If you want 'pessimistic' rather than 'optimistic' date parsing, you have two options:
1) Call calendar.setLenient(false);
See if that is strict enough for your needs, otherwise:
2) Write code to ensure a stricter parsing of the string passed in. For example, you could very simply check the length of the string to determine if time data is also present.
When parsing, a string like '02/29/02' would parse to the date '03/01/02'. Setting lenient to false may fix this, but the surest way is to do some testing and then make the parsing more pessimistic where it suits your needs.

file thats imported into the html? By this I
mean can the information and images and menus the flash file
will display be pulled from a database and

7.I've read somewhere a while back that google was trying to
make flash files serchabe so that they can be
listed on googles search engine. Is this an easy
implementation or can only professional flash programmers
accomplish this?
8.Whats the learning curve for learning adobe flash, if I
have many years experience in programming web
applications using html, css, vb.net, and javascript? Not
just learning actionscript but also learning how to
use Adobe flash to create full flash websites?
Okay, so thats more than a few questions :) Once I started
writing my first few I just couldn't stop. But please anyone who
can answer these would be of great help to me in deciding if I
should invest any time into adobe flash.

It doesn't, but you can use SWFAddress to do just that. Works
great.

LoadVars.sendAndLoad or
remoting... I like AMFPHP for remoting.

Entire flash sites can be dynamic - it's what I do... I use
PHP / AMFPHP and
MySQL to build dynamic flash content.

Easy is a relative term... the best way right now is to use
SWFObject
(Google for swfobject seo) - essentially you build an html
site inside the
Flash's <div> so the spiders will see the alternate
content.

Adobe Captivate 5 DEMO

Hello,
I am using the Adobe Captivate 5 DEMO. I am trying to record about one hour worth of screen shot, in full motion video. I am recording an application which streams live stock market prices onto a chart. I have tried this repeatedly and have found that the 'filmstrip' in captivate only records 503 seconds, or about eight minutes worth of my one hour recording.
Does anyone know if the demo version has a limit as to time or file size recording? Any help is appreciated.

Hello and welcome to the forum,
The trial version is a fully working version. But I am answering just to warn you that it is normally not a very good idea to capture screen demonstrations in Full Motion Recording. Is there a particular reason why you do prefer this to the more natural (for Captivate) Automatic Recording. Not only does this lead to much smaller files (perhaps your system was not capable to keep up with such a large movie) but editing is much easier afterwards. For the user the experience will not be that different, when necessary Captivate will switch automatically to Full Motion Recording to show p.e. drag-and-dop actions, moving the scroll bar.... The user experience will not be that different, but also for the user it will be possible to have much more control over the movie.
If you told more exactly what you were trying to capture, perhaps we would be able to give you some more tips. Just hoping you did not mind my popping in, because it is not really an answer to your question.

New iMac owner, but a few questions!

Hey all, just got a Brand New iMac yesterday, first Mac computer owned and loving it so far, but I have a few questions.
iChat: I have my AIM name on there, but whenever someone sends me a message, a very small box pops up asking if I want to accept or decline, even if I have them in my buddy list. Any way to turn that off? I looked through the settings, couldn't find anything.
iTunes: Is there anyway to fully close out of iTunes? Whenever I X out of it, the music still plays, and it seems as though iTunes is still open until I hit the Command+Q. Then when I re-open it, it leaves off where it was. What I am wondering is if you are able to completely close out of it with Xing it out.
Preview: If I open a photo, it automatically opens with Preview, when I X out of it, Preview is still in the Dock until I right click and click "close." Anyway to get around that as well?
Also, what Application would you recommend for a College student typing term papers and whatnot? And are there Applications to download for free? Like....I cant think of an example.
I'm sorry for all the questions, but I've been a Windows user all my life, just trying to get used to the iMac.

Hi GeneticFusion: Welcome ot the world of Mac. I could tell by your description that you are an Ex-Windows user. You are on the right track with the Command Q idea. This is the proper way to completly close a program. You could also go to the name of the open program, click and select "Quit <Program>. Few Questions (Help Needed)

I had few questions regarding captivate 4. If anyone can help, I would really appreciate it:
1) I created an eLearning project and it has some quiz sildes in them. So how do I collect the scores of the users who will go though that eLearning? ( I googled it but in most of the webpages they say just put a tick on report answers and also in the preferences enable reporting for this project) I tried using that but can`t see how to fetch the score for each users.
2) In the same eLearning I want to get feedback from the users who watch the eLearning. So basically I want a slide in which users can type in their feedback and then when they hit the submit button that feedback should be sent to a specific email. ( For this I tried using text box entry but all the text we enter in that comes in one line, we can`t press enter to change lines, also in the button I assign it to send an email to my lotus notes email id, but when I preview the project and click the button, it opens my lotus notes and it does not fetches what I have entered in the text box)
