Captivate 8 demo mode does not advance my captured slides

I am using Captivate 8 in demo mode to set up some training. I've created a 3 slide capture of saving a notepad file. Each captured slide has only a text box, mouse, and a highlight box on each slide. When previewing the project, each captured slide stops and I have to use the "next slide" icon in the skin to advance the slide. The two inserted (title, text, info) slides run fine.

This is an addition. I just published the project and it works fine, but surely there should be a way for the preview mode to automatically advance the slides when there is no reason that they should stop?

Submit button in Cap 7 quiz does not advance learner to next quiz slide

I created a 5 question MC quiz in Cap 7. When I take the quiz in the preview mode, I am able to advance to the next slide by clicking on the submit button. Well, when I click on the submit button, a pop up appears that says: Correct - click anywhere or press 'y' to continue. Once I click anywhere, *then* I am taken to the next question.
However, when I take the quiz in a web browser, I cannot advance to the next slide, even when I answer the question correctly. I click the submit button. The same pop up appears as in the preview mode: Correct - click anywhere or press 'y' to continue. So, I click anywhere but nothing happens. The slide does not advance.
I've created a few quizzes before in Cap 7 using the same settings so I was stumped when the quiz didn't work this time. Maybe I accidentally changed a setting??

The jump to slide works great. Yes, the user goes right back to the quiz after remediation. The user can then change her answer and click submit. However, she can not advance forward. Sigh.
I am a freelancer who inherited the template from the former freelancer. I was told to use her template to create the trainings. So I am. I was supposed to use all the settings she used, too. That's why the Required is set to: User must answer every question'
I can try your idea and the Requirements in the settings.
What's odd, though, is that I've developed a Quiz using these same exact settings and it worked perfectly. That's why it's odd that the Quiz is no longer working correctly.
Okay, let me try to change the Required settings.
By the way, the submit button works fine in the Preview mode, just not the Web Browser mode.

I have a mac which plays the boot sound but the screen stays black. Recovery mode does not work, as the keyboard is wireless. What do I do?

I have an older mac and it worked perfectly until about an hour ago when I shut it down because we needed the room dark for a presentation and the screen saver was putting out light.
Now it won't turn back on. It plays the start up music but the screen stays blank.
The CMD+OPT+R for recovery mode doesn't do anything, the keyboard is wireless so the command doesn't get to the computer and that's the only keyboard I have since that's the one it came with.
I'm looking at making a USB recovery disk but it says that I should click on "Options" in the Disk Utility but there is no options button or menu to click.
From here: OS X: About Recovery Disk Assistant in step 3 I get stuck.
Also it says that if I make a drive on this computer which has an older OS it might not work on the broken machine with Mavericks.
This machine literally worked and I turned it off and now it does not work and there seems to be nothing I can do... ***...

I don't believe there is anything we can do on a forum to help then, you need to take it into a AASP and have it professionaly diagnosed. If you don't know how to locate an AASP in your area you can begin by using Contact Apple for support and service

Thanks for your prompt reply. This is my first post and I appreciate your patience. I imported media into the Project Panel. From there, I placed a few clips into a sequence in the Timeline. In the Timeline, I clicked on a clip. I then double clicked in Program Panel, and could then see the clip. However, when I click on the space bar, (i.e., "Play") in the Program Panel, the image in that panel does not advance. When I click "Play" again (i.e., "Stop"), the still image confirms that we have moved on a bit in the footage. (The audio plays normally, confirming that we are advancing in time. )
I want to be able to press the space bar in the Program Panel and to see the "motion picture" in the Program Panel.

Project does not advance after taking quiz.

After taking a 3 question quiz I set the project to jump to a specific page when the Continue button is pressed. The project does not advance to the chosen slide.

I'm having the same issue. The project (swf file) keeps freezing on the second quiz question. if i start the project on another slide, it still freezes on the second question slide presented.
I have cleared the cashe, tried setting it to a survey question. tried rebuilding the question slide.
I have no clue why it wont play thru.
Any suggestions? I need to get this project published today.
There are 6 quiz questions in the project total.

Digital ICE epson scan (professional mode) does not work

I am running the latest Mountian Lion OS on my IMAC and have recently started running some test scans with my Epson Perfection V700 scanner. The supplied Epson software , Epson Scan offers a variety of operating modes, "professional mode" offering the most features. Professional mode offers Digital ICE as an option, however when selected, the Digital ICE does not work.I have compared scans with and without digital ICE and they are exactly the same. Scratches and dirt are not removed by the scan.
If I select a more basic mode ("Home Mode") Digital ICE does work. But this other mode does not offer the range of options offered in porfessional mode.
Has anyone out there used Epson Scan software? Has anyone else experienced this problem? Is there other scanning software out there which could fully exploit the features of the Epson scanner I have? I tried Vuescn and it does not seem to be compatible with my scanner, so that is off the table.

You should first read the user manual that came w/your scanner and/or contact Epson tech support.
How is the scanner connected to your iMac? USB cable? Wireless? Firewire?

Setting it up so that after a song finishes it does not advance to next????

I have many files that I need to play, though I want it setup so that after a song is done playing it does not advance to the next track. Is there anyway to do this? The only way I have found to do this is by making each and every song a separate playlist, however this will take a LONG time.

So if I create a playlist with songs that I want to play and place tracks in between each song and uncheck the ones that are in between, will it play the song that I want to play and stop when it gets to the unchecked song and then wait until I skip to the next song that is checked to play?
No. iTunes doesn't stop when it reaches an unchecked song, it skips over it. So in your scenario it will skip over the unchecked song, go to the next checked song and play that. If you want to play one song and then stop, uncheck all the songs. Then there are no other songs for iTunes to play next and it will stop after playing the one you specifically selected.

I think you're using a Lion developer version. Open  > About this Mac > More Info, and copy Software here. Did you purchase Lion in the App Store?

The GH4 must be very new as it’s not listed in Adobe’s supported cameras, so wait until the next version of LR. Usually there is one every 3-4 months with a release-candidate available at Adobe Labs before that: http://labs.adobe.com/
