Capture Dates Displayed Icorrectly.  Impacts using MAP feature of LR4

I have a folder of images taken with two cameras.  I copied the folder to use with LR4 Beta and imported the images.  Many (but not all) of the images for the Cannon S100 have the wrong time and some times the wrong date.  When I look at the files with Windows Explorer, capture date is correct, likewise, when I look at the dates on another computer with LR3, the date is correct.   This is very critical, as I used the GPS with the S100 to mark where pictures were taken by the Nikon D300 on our vacation.
This is a critical failure.

No there is no consistency.  However, the only images that have the incorrect date were taken by a Canon S100, and this is the first time Adobe supported the S100.  BTW:  How can one correct the date and time an image has for capture time.  These pictures were originaly imported by LR3, release canadate 6 on my laptop.  The interesting thing is the date and time are correct there and I recopied the files from the laptop to my home computer with the same results.   If someone wants one of the image files, I can provide it.  It is a RAW file.

  • Unable to capture data from Serial port using LVRT2010 in single core pentium 4 machine

    I am using application written in Labview using windows Labview
    Runtime environment 2010. Application creates a tunnel to intercept data from
    Serial port.
    My problem is, Currently, I am using single core Pentium
    processor. When I am trying to intercept the data between COM1 and COM7 (COM 7
    is a virtual port) it is not able to capture data.
    When I am running Labview RT environment using dual core
    processor machine it is running normally. I wonder whether it could be the compatibility issues with
    single core Pentium processor.

    Hi Magnetica
    Are both of the machines running the same runtime engine,
    drivers ect?
    Have you had RT applications running on this
    machine before?
    Is the development computer a 64bit machine?
    The processor is a supported model (See link below).

  • USING MAP FEATURE

    When using the Map feature on my Ipod Touch, and dropping a pin - I cannot move the pin to the exact location. When I tap on it and try to move it, the whole map moves with the pin. Am I doing something wrong? What is the correct procedure?

    Well it's true, you just need to take that 1/2 a second to select the pin first.

  • Capturing data changes in alv using classes

    Hello All,
    Currently am working on alv report using classes..,In this report am displaying 3 grids in the output in 3 different containers(cl_gui_custom_container)...,Am able to handle the data changes done in the grid  at the run time using event  data_changed ...,
    Now the requirement + problem is ...if i do the changes in all the grids ,,,,,and if i click(hotspot event) on any of the rows/records in any of the grids ...,, I need to be able to capture all the data changes done in all the other grids....,,
    for example:-
    if i modify some records in all the 3 grids ,,, and if I click any of the row in any of the grid at a time,,, all the changes done in all the grids should be captured.....( in simple words one click all changes )
    I tried using data_changed event....., am only able to capture the changes of the grid on which i clicked ( ie.hotspot event) but not the changes which i have done on other grids.....Pls. help me out with the possibilities
    Hope am clear..
    Thanks

    Hi friend,
    METHOD handle_user_command.
      CASE e_ucomm.
    WHEN 'UPDATE'.
                 CALL METHOD r_grid->get_selected_rows
              IMPORTING
                 ET_INDEX_ROWS =
                 et_row_no     = it_rows.
    LOOP AT it_rows INTO wa_rows.
    *****modify the first container data***********
    endloop.
    CALL METHOD r_grid1->get_selected_rows
              IMPORTING
                 ET_INDEX_ROWS =
                 et_row_no     = it_rows1.
    LOOP AT it_rows1 INTO wa_rows1.
    *****modify the second container data***********
    endloop.
    CALL METHOD r_grid1->get_selected_rows
              IMPORTING
                 ET_INDEX_ROWS =
                 et_row_no     = it_rows2.
    LOOP AT it_rows2 INTO wa_rows2.
    *****modify the third container data***********
    endloop.
    endcase.
    Now we can create three container and three different grid class object but we are using same method.
    UPDATE buttton is common to all three containers.
    But one important point when u change the records in container we must select the rows then only selected rows r come to the internal table otherwise it is not come.
    CREATE OBJECT r_container
        EXPORTING
          container_name              = 'CONTAINER_1'
    CREATE OBJECT r_container2
        EXPORTING
          container_name              = 'CONTAINER_2'
    CREATE OBJECT r_container3
        EXPORTING
          container_name              = 'CONTAINER_3'
    CREATE OBJECT r_grid
        EXPORTING
          i_parent          = r_container
    CREATE OBJECT r_grid1
        EXPORTING
          i_parent          = r_container2
    CREATE OBJECT r_grid2
        EXPORTING
          i_parent          = r_container3
    NOW WE CAN CALL THE METHOD.
    CREATE OBJECT event_receiver1.
      SET HANDLER event_receiver1->handle_before_user_command FOR r_grid.
    CREATE OBJECT event_receiver1.
      SET HANDLER event_receiver1->handle_before_user_command FOR r_grid2.
    CREATE OBJECT event_receiver1.
      SET HANDLER event_receiver1->handle_before_user_command FOR r_grid3
    I thing it should be possible.But u must remeber u must select the records when u modifie in three containersBUT UPDATE button is common to all three containers.

  • SE16 data display and authorizations.

    Hi Experts,
    I had few following questions regarding data display and authorization using SE16 :-
    As example, SAP HCM solution for an enterprise is implemented in say 10 countries :-
    - Is it that using SE16 the user has the authorization to display all data, including the data for different countries employee's?
    - isn't the infotype data based on the country grouping settiings and shouldn't be displayed via SE16?
    - Can the authorization be controlled, using User group or some roles being assigned while creating the user id?
    Thank you for your help in advance.
    Thanks and Regards,
    Puneet Luthra

    Puneet,
    If you assign SE16 tcode to a profile you can set further authorization object S_TABU_DIS - here you can set authorization groups such as PA for HR intptype tables and SC for PD infotype tables,
    I do not believe that you can actually set infotype level access. i.e if you give pa tables then thay can see all pa tables you cannot restrict to just say, 0001 and 0007. This is independent of the P_ORGIN authorizations, so even if you restrict a certain infotype in P_ORGIN, they will be able to see using SE16.
    One of the ways in which we have got around it in the past is to just create custom transctaions for each table they want to see, such as zse16_pa0001 and assign individual tables to those who need it.  Only HR experts and Support users need this kind of access in the production system so it should be relatively easy to maintain individually.
    Hope this helps.

  • LR 3.2 new smart collection not getting correct capture date?

    Just created a new smart collection after updating to LR 3.2.
    It's showing photos taken in 2008 and 2009, well beyond the last two months. Checked the capture date displayed in LR. The older photos shown have been edited within the last two months.
    Bug or am I doing something wrong?
    Thanks.

    There was bug with "months" since Lightroom 2. Looks like it has never been fixed.
    Try setting "60 days" instead of "2 months".

  • Mapping feature for queries that cannot be expressed using JDO QL

    In the "Java Data Objects vs. Entity Beans" thread at theserverside.com,
    there was a question concerning the ways to use a query that cannot be
    expressed using JDO QL (for example SQL requests having no equivalent) .
    Among the possibilities mentionned in his answers, Craig Russel said
    that a JDO implementation could map an SQL query to a Java class
    directly :
    "This might be done by a JDO vendor who mapped a user-specified SQL
    query to a JDO PC class. For example, if you have a DEPARTMENT table
    that you want to write an aggregate query for "SELECT D.DEPTID,
    MAX(E.SALARY) FROM DEPARTMENT D, EMPLOYEE E WHERE D.DEPTID = E.DEPTID".
    You would map this query to a JDO PC class DepartmentMaxSalary which has
    a key field deptid and a non-key field maxSalary. The key class
    DepartmentMaxSalaryKey has a key field deptid.
    Now, construct an instance of the key class:
    DepartmentMaxSalaryKey dk = new DepartmentMaxSalaryKey(100);
    DepartmentMaxSalary d = pm.getObjectById(dk);
    System.out.println ("Department " + d.getDeptid()
    + " has max salary of " + d.getMaxSalary());
    When the getObjectById is executed a hollow instance of
    DepartmentMaxSalary is constructed by the PersistenceManager. When the
    d.getMaxSalary() is executed, the implementation of the method accesses
    the maxSalary field which causes the PersistenceManager to executes the
    query and return the result into the field.
    No implementation to my knowledge currently offers this kind of mapping,
    but certainly some will in future."
    Do you consider in providing this kind of mapping feature in Kodo ?
    Thanks in advance.

    Do you consider in providing this kind of mapping feature in Kodo ?Patrice,
    Sorry for the delay responding to this question. The thread dropped out
    of my awareness until Rakesh's followup question today.
    We do not currently plan on providing a mechanism for configuring JDO
    objects to load themselves from arbitrary SQL queries at this point. The
    example above seems a little contrived, for a few reasons:
    - Presumably, this aggregate salary object would be read-only.
    Read-only JDO fields/objects are a whole separate topic that we
    have chosen not to address just yet.
    - Where would the complex SQL statement go? Putting it in the
    metadata seems less than ideal, as this would make for a hideous
    metadata file, and even more complexity and more debugging
    problems than using direct JDBC SQL calls. Putting the SQL
    statement into the class also seems awkward.
    - Kodo provides a mechanism for obtaining a connection to the data
    store. When aggregate info are needed or complex,
    non-object-oriented queries must be executed, standard JDBC calls
    to the data store are probably the most appropriate approach, as
    they give you complete access to your data store.
    If we see a significant interest in these capabilities, then we may
    consider them for a future release.
    Thanks in advance.Again, I apologize for the time delay in my response. I hope that this
    answers your questions.

  • Capturing data acquisition frames reliably at 100 hz using serial, how?

    Hi All,
    I am completing development of a 14 channel, 10 bit resolution, pic based data acquisition circuit. It transmits frames of 41 bytes (currently) at 100hz using serial. The embedded code functions satisfactorily. I can see data ok using hyperterminal. I am unsure how to optimise labview to get complete frames without hogging lots of cpu/system resource etc. eg. do I simply set the frame size (num of bytes) to retrieve and set this looping as fast as possible , and/or set the rate to fetch frames at the rate frames are transmitted by the pic? This may allow drift in available buffered bytes to finally overflow the buffer.
    I tend to lose 1 byte in 100 typically doing nothing but this increase
    s to chunks of bytes if I interact with windows.
    I have the feeling a number of decisions need making when setting up a serial link like this but I am unsure which settings best suit my application.
    Thanks in advance,
    Regards
    Chris

    Hi Lynn, Tristan,
    Please find the current llb attached. This has my last serial run and shows how the data gets glitchy after a number of seconds (toward end of the text box).
    I have spent time building the suggestions into code. I am not yet trying to strip out individual channels. At the moment I just want to get frames in reliably before moving on.
    It certainly looks a lot more reliable now but a few more questions have been raised. I think the idea of getting data in using 1 loop then immediately passing it for processing by another parrallel loop seems important for reliability.
    You will notice I grab a frame and it then goes into a que where it will be processed but this needs doing quickly as frames will be used in realti
    me.
    I have set up the code to trim the delay for both the get data from serial port loop and get 1 entry from the que loop.
    I am using 2 identical circuits in my product, 1 captures data from a leg harness, the other controls movements of a biped robot (servos) this occurs in "real time". I need to remove as much latency due to processing as possible.
    click on "video 3" on the right of the page for a prototype demo:
    http://www.robotic-systems.co.uk/products/full_system.htm
    I noticed that some of text embedded within text boxes used in subvi's can tend to float thro to the top level vi. I proved this by adding a bit of text and noticed it kept cropping up occasionally on the top level text box. I found this peculiar but cured it by deleting all chars in the subvi text box. Now I am concerned, could this be somthing to do with why I get glitches in text occasionally?
    Is there some labview feature to say flush all text, numbers and bools prior to running from the top leve
    l?
    I'd be gratefull if you have a look thro my llb and sanity check the flow of code and let me know what you think.
    Best Regards
    Chris

  • Task Sequence failed to restore captured data from USB drive onto a new machine using UDI task requence

    Hi,
    Environment ConfigMgr 2012 R2
    Replace Scenario: Capture data to a USB external drive and Restore it from USB external drive.
    Steps taken:
    1) Created Computer Association with New computer and Source computer
    2) Deployed UDI replace Task Sequence to Source computer and captured data to a USB external drive
    3) Run UDI Task Sequence from Boot Media to Restore data from USB External drive which had the captured data.

  • Feature Request: Better dimensional meta data displayed

    Aside from every other problem with how Bridge lets the user display, sort and interact with meta data (aside from the actual metadata palette), it would be way more useful to have the Dimension meta data displayed under an image shown in 'real world' dimensions.
    For example: I'm looking at my 'final images' that have been converted to CMYK, and sized for delivery. At this point Pixel Dimensions are pretty useless. What I really want to do is quickly scan my images, seeing Inches (or CM) with a PPI. My clients never ask for pixel dimensions (unless we are talking about the web, which we aren't) - they ask for 8.76" x 5.34" at 266ppi. It would just be nice to use bridge to double check the image sizes before delivery.
    thks
    andy

    Thanks for you feedback. You wish has been granted (dimensions can now be displayed in pixels, inches or centimeters. Go to Preferences > Thumbnails to select which dimension to display below the thumbnail, or Preferences > Metadata to customize the metadata pane). Check out the free beta of Bridge CS3 (http://labs.adobe.com/technologies/photoshopcs3/)

  • Error writing data in a flat file using UTL_FILE feature

    Hi All,
    I have written a package which fetches data from four different cursors and inserts into a temporary table.
    Now this temporary table is used to write data in a file using the UTL_FILE feature.
    fhandler :=
    UTL_FILE.fopen (l_path,'Demand_Transactions_'
    || TO_CHAR (SYSDATE, 'YYYYMMDDHH24MI')
    || '.txt',
    'w',
    max_linesize => 32767
    This table has 62593 records and when it starts writing data into the file from the table it errors out after writing 30045 records with the error - ORA-01722: invalid number.
    Can anyome please advise me is it because of the max_linesize => 32767. If not then what can be the possible reason.
    Any help in this would be highly appreciated.
    Regards,
    Shruti

    The error would indicate that you have a character to number conversion going on somewhere but the characters are not numeric so it's failing that conversion.
    This doesn't sound like a UTL_FILE issue, but more to do with how you are building up your strings to output to the file.
    You would need to show us your code that builds up the lines you are writing out, with details of the datatypes of any of the columns/variables included in that.

  • Display data in log file using PL/SQL procedure

    Just as srw.message is used in Oracle RDF Reports to display data in log file in Oracle Apps, similarly how it is possible to display data in log file using PL/SQL procedure?
    Please also mention the syntax too.

    Pl post details of OS, database and EBS versions.
    You will need to invoke the seeded FND_LOG procedure - see previous discussions on this topic

  • How to export a photo in lightroom using capture date

    I have photos in lightroom 5 i want to know how to have the capture date show in the photo when i export it. I want to see the capture date in safari on mac. I also want the capture date to match when i use metadata edit capture time some times the photo had a date in lightroom and a different date in metadata edit capture time.

    There is a command line interface with the Administration Edition
    that allows you do select which items are exported, based on the
    command switches you provide.
    See the Discoverer Administration Guide, there's an appendix that
    deals with all the command line options.
