if these episodes are in flash format, you can convert them
to video
format and burn dvd easily. i always do in such a way, using
the
program i have- Flash to Video Encoder PRO (it's on
geovid.com), it
burns dvd after conversion just in one click!

  • How to Make a Still from Video and Burning a DVD

    Hello All,
I am using FCP HD and I would like to know how do you make a still photo from video footage?
Also I have to burn an editing project to dvd. I don't know how to use studio pro, but the person said that it needs to be a ntsc full resolution version. I am not sure what that means.
The project is about 10 minutes long and this person had me using the H.264. I have been playing around and I think I not doing something write because when I send the project to compressor it tells me that I have like 200+ hours befoe it outputs.
Could someone give me some simple instructions using the H.264 on how to do a good large size (over 320x240) QT movie to dvd?
    THANKS...

To export a still park the playhead on the image you want, mark IN OUT, go to FILE>EXPORT>QUICKTIME CONVERSION. Click on QUICKTIME MOVIE and In the dropdown choose STILL IMAGE.
You will have to De-Interlace it in Photoshop after you export.
    As for making the DVD:
    Shane's Stock Answer #3:
To export your DV project so there is no loss in quality, simply go to the File Menu and select EXPORT>QUICKTIME MOVIE. Not Quicktime Conversion, fot this will compress the footage. Make sure the settings match your timeline settings, make it self contained and you are set.
Import this into iDVD or DVDSP and burn your DVD. Don't go the h.264 route.

  • How do I save my video in jpeg format so I can add picture to it and burn a DVD through Photo Explosion version 4

How do I save my video in jpeg format so I can add picture to it and burn a DVD through Photo Explosion version 4

    Thanks for the follow up.
In Premiere Elements 13/13.1, your export choices are in the Publish+Share section of the project. There are several choices and sub-choices.
Example: Publish+Share/Computer/and then a list of choices under that, such as, MPEG, AVI, AVCHD, XAVC-S, Windows Media, QuickTime, Image, Audio.
And each has Presets which define the export settings. Adobe offers default settings which are usually optimized ones. But, it also allows you to customize the preset selected. You do that by clicking on the Advanced Button of the selected preset and customizing the settings under the Video Tab, Audio Tab, and, if applicable, Multiplexer Tab.
From what you wrote, I thought that you might be asking about exporting a video with a video codec = Photo JPEG.
To do that you would to to
    Publish+Share
    Computer
    QuickTime
with Presets = either the one for 4:3 of 16:9 as appropriate for your project,
and then clicking on the Advanced Button, and then the Video Tab under the Advanced Button.
Then selecting Photo JPEG for the video codec field.
Tip: The QuickTime choice is not seen unless you scroll down the list of Computer choices. Use the thin scroll bar to the right of the Computer choices.
Please explore Premiere Elements 13/13.1's Publish+Share/Disc/DVD with standard or widescreen preset for your creation of the DVD-VIDEO on DVD disc.
The Premiere Elements timeline destined for this choice could consistent of supported photos and or videos.
    Please consider.
Any questions and need clarification, please do not hesitate to ask.

Sorry, but I don't know anything about that app.
I did go to their Web site and I see they have a support link. Perhaps you can get help there or in their forum.
If you are OK with a DVD with a basic menu, you could try the Share>DVD option in FCP.
    Good luck.

  • I need a program that I can download home videos and burn to a dvd

I need a program that I can download home videos and burn to a dvd to watch on TV.

I don't know what you mean by "download home video" but there are several DVD burner apps in the MAS. Just search burn DVD and you'll see them.

  • How do I export my iMovie '11 video and burn it to a DVD? I've tried 'Share' - 'Media Browser', 'iDVD', and 'Export Movie' but always get an error message indicating that my movie is too long to publish. Thoughts?

How do I export my iMovie '11 video and burn it to a DVD? I've tried 'Share' - 'Media Browser', 'iDVD', and 'Export Movie' but always get an error message indicating that my movie is too long to publish. Thoughts? Additionally, what does 'File' 'Finalize Project' do?

Instead of Share to Media Browser, what happens if you try Share Menu > Export Movie... (choose Large size) and save it to the Desktop?
If that fails try Share Menu > Export using QuickTime...
Then pick Movie to QuickTime Movie, then click on Options... which is just to the right of Export
Under the Video section click on Settings...
Then in the pulldown menu at the top, titled Compression Type: Choose Apple Intermediate Codec. Then click OK. And click OK again, and save it to the desktop. Once the .mov file is created, you can import that into iDVD and most likely it will work in Wondershare Creator if you prefer to use that instead.

  • Ipod touch video to Burn to dvd?

I'm a teacher and I need to use my IPOD touch to video my class. Can I burn such a video to a DVD? and How?

Transfer the video to your computer using the procedure outlined in the iPod touch user's guide. From there you'll need appropriate editing software, if you want to edit the video, and DVD burning software to create the disk. If you have a Mac, it should have come with iMovie for editing and iDVD for creating and burning the DVD. If you have a Windows system, there will be similar software though I can't make specific recommendations.

  • How do I create a wide screen movie in Premiere Elements 7 and burn to DVD or Blue Ray?

I have created a movie using project settings of 16:9 and also filmed in this format.  The movie I burned to DVD is not in wide screen. I have requested assistance and given instructions to go through share and select Sony PSP.  However this creates a file which is saved to my computer in mpeg-4 format which will not burn to my DVD.  I am using a Blue Ray burner which looks as if it will only take MP3.  Any suggestions?

I haven't actually done a BluRay yet - waiting to get everything right and,
hopefully, will be able to put more than 1 movie when all is finished!
That's my next challenge. I initially used Share/Disc to burn the DVD with,
I thought, all the settings for widescreen.  It has always worked OK in
Pinnacle.  When I lodged the problem with tech support they sent me
instructions using the Sony PSP.  Interestingly I use a Sony camera, have a
Sony disc burner plus Sony TV and Playstation so you'd think they'd all talk
    to each other!!!

Are your creating and burning your DVD (or is it a BluRay disc?) from
    Premiere Elements by choosing Share/Disc?
If so, it should produce a widescreen disc.
Sometimes DVD players don't automatically read home-burned DVDs as
widescreen and you have to manually switch it. But at the very least the
video should be either letterboxed or stretched.

Have you looked at Delete and Close Gap as well as Delete for what you describe?
Nonetheless, adding or moving clips to an existing Timeline content without disturbing the existing Timeline content can be challenging and complex under certain scenarios.
Typical solutions include making these moves with a keyboard modified held down (Windows Alt or Ctr). I am strictly an Elements Windows user, so we will need to find the Mac counterparts for the Windows keyboard modifier techniques.
Also, if one move triggers a multi-chain disaster, then you should consider grouping block of clips so that they do not move while you are busy with your Timeline maneuvers. Check out the Clip Menu options for Group and Ungroup.
Some times in the "Mac condition", you need to use fn in addition to the command to achieve some of these Windows counterparts.
The following video tutorial on arranging clips and keyboard modifiers is being posted for informational non promotional reasons.
Premiere Elements: Arranging clips on the Timeline using modifier keys | lynda.com - YouTube
It is demo'd with Premiere Elements 8, but the principles are the same for later versions of the program.
Here is one variation of the issue on Windows.
ATR Premiere Elements Troubleshooting: PE: Delete and Close Gap Failures
You should not have to delete audio to prevent it from being split by an addition to an existing Timeline. The keyboard modifiers should help you resolve this type of issue.
    Please review and consider.
    Thanks.

  • How do I create Themes/Chapters in my video before burning to DVD so that Scenes can be selected when DVD is loaded to player?

How do I create Themes/Chapters in my video before burning to DVD so that Scenes can be selected using on screen icons when DVD is loaded to player?

"I don't know what you mean by this. There are no chapter markers in FCP." - you puzzle me by this! Yave You ever made some DVDees after editing in FCP 7? Every chapter in the timeline could be transfered to DVD Studio Pro, and then used in DVD navigation. This is very important feature, decause you don't have to lookfor some parts of your video while creating navigation! Less work - more joy! Another downscore of FCPX!

  • Shaky Video when Burned to DVD

    Hello all,
Call me an amatuer when it comes to camcorders. I have a Sony DCR-SR40 HDD camcorder and when I take video recorded on this device, transfer to my Mac, and then edit in HD 6, the video (when played back on a DVD) comes out shaky for action video where people are moving. It is almost like there are tracers when they are moving.
When the raw footage is played back in its native mpg format it looks fine, and when it is burned using Sony's "One Touch" DVD burn the video is not shaky or look like it has tracers, it looks fine. I am thinking it has to do with the quality of the image being recorded by the video camera and that when it gets compiled/burned to DVD it causes the shakiness. It has done this in iMovie HD 6 and in Adobe Elements 3.0. Is there a fix for this?
If it is just a camcorder issue, any recommendations for a good quality camcorder to capture sports footage (Football) that would burn great in iMovie and not have that shakiness/tracers?

    >MPEG2 exported from Premeire, to quicktime, to encore
That is, to me, a backwards work flow
Mpeg2 is an output format... but you are using it as your source file in Premiere... what is the source of the file?
Read Bill Hunt on a file type as WRAPPER http://forums.adobe.com/thread/440037
    What is a CODEC... a Primer http://forums.adobe.com/thread/546811
What CODEC is INSIDE that file? http://forums.adobe.com/thread/440037
Report back with the codec details of your file, use the programs below... a screen shot works well to SHOW people what you are doing
    For PC http://www.headbands.com/gspot/ or http://mediainfo.sourceforge.net/en
    For Mac http://mediainfo.massanti.com/
You are then exporting to Quicktime... which Encore must then encode to MPEG2 to make a DVD (the VOB on a DVD is a renamed MPEG)
You are starting with a compressed file... exporting which may add more compression... and compressing again in Encore... it is no wonder your DVD has lost quality

  • How to convert HDV-1080i captured video to burn on IDVD ?

    Hi Gang,
I recently bought a Canon XL H1 HDV camcorder and love to shoot HD-1080i on miniDV. I capture the video on IMovie HD using HDV-1080i. It is beautiful.
I need to convert this format using the best compression so I can burn the video on a IDVD. I realize I will loose some resolution but until Blu-Ray is available, I have no other alternatives. Canon XL H1 shoots uncompressed audio and video and is amazing. I have used H264 in the past with 720p but I'm not sure using 1080i. Can any of you wonderful folks walk me through the best steps to do this? Thankyou, Joe Ray
ps: I own Final Cut Pro 5.1 but can't learn it til late August2006.

well right now since your recording the high def to a tape, you're shooting HDV, which is compressed HD. iMovie imports that and converts it to the apple intermediate format.....(no compression, just a different format imovie works with). Just do the editing in imovie and send it to idvd and choose best quality in the projects pane in the idvd preferences. that's all you can do.
(imovie does the editing, and idvd does the converting to MPEG 2 which is what dvd players read).

  • I have created a movie in 16:9 format. I have created an iDVD pane in 16:9 but when I preview the movie that pane changes to 4:3 and burns the DVD as a 4:3 movie. How can I stop that, please I am in Snow Leopard, using FCE4.0.1?

I am using Snow Leopard and have created a movie in 16:9 format (SD not HDV) I created a movie which stays in the 16:9 format in fcp file, .mov fiule and MP4 file. I created an iDVD pane in 16:9 but when I play the movie in the iDVD preview window the iDVD pane switches to 4:3 and it burns the DVD in 4:3. How can I stop this so I get a16:9 DVD. Hi
As I see this I see two parts
    • Howto go from FinalCut to iDVD
    • Howto set iDVD right
In FinalCut Express (to 4) or Pro (to 6 - most probably 7 too)
    • One has to set Anamorphic in the Browser window - menu columns
    • Export as QuickTime movie .mov - NO QUICKTIME CONVERSION
In iDVD there are TWO places to set - WideScreen
    - Start a NEW iDVD project - AND HERE SELECT WideScreen 16:9
    - in Project - select Projectinfo
    - now set WideScreen 16:9 - Here too
This use to work for me.
    FOR FinalCut Pro-X - I have not a Clue - as I don't use it. SORRY
BTW - There is a good practice to before BURNING the DVD do
    • Save as a DiskImage
    • Test this by using DVD-Player tool
And if it is OK Size and All - then burn it by using
    • Disk Util tool
    • here set down burn speed to x4 or less (less burn errors = plays on more devices and better)
    • Not using Memorex or NoName etc cheap media - as they usually DO NOT WORK as Video-DVDs
    • I use Verbatim DVD-R as they play on more and even older DVD-players

  • Importing VHS to be converted and burned to DVD.

I want to import my family VHS footage to my IMac G-5 with Tiger 4.2, to be burned on DVD . What software and hardware do I need to accomplish this and how do I do it?

I recently bought a Plextor ConvertX PVR BY ELGATO. it was $100 less than the eyetv version, with the same eyetv software, the only difference i could tell being that it uses usb2 instead of firewire. i use mine to do the same thing - convert vhs tapes to dvd. while the software allows you to import video as DV for imovie editing, i sometimes set it to mpeg2 which allows me to send it right to toast for DVD burning. a full 2 hour tape takes about 2 minutes to save as mpeg2 to the desktop and then multiplexes in toast for about another 2 minutes, then starts to burn.

  • Using an External Hard Drive for iMovie Editing and Burning to DVD

Between iPhoto, iTunes and other applications I am rapidly running out of hard drive space on my 2003 iMac. Because of this, I recently purchased a Lacie 250 GB Firewire external hard drive and was hoping to use it for iMovie editing and buring of DVDs, because of the large amount of disk drive space video eats up. Is it it possible to "load" iMovie and iDVD to the external drive and edit/burn videos on that drive? If not, is there some other way to use that external drive in this process? Thanks in advance for any assistance that can be provided.

see my reply to Trollus, just posted:
That's how I do all my stuff now - via external lacie 'brick' drive. The only trick is when you begin your iMovie project, hit save immediately after creating the new project, and save the project file in an appropriately named folder on the external hard drive (don't call it 'Movies' as it'll be confused with your Powerbook's movies folder). Then as you import all your clips from your movie camera, they will be written to the external drive, rather than you G4's drive. Very handy.
I do all my iMovie and iDVD stuff via the external Lacie drive - the FireWire 400 interface is quick enough (ie never had skipped clips, etc). I also save all iDVD finished projects as disc images on the external drive and burn DVDs from those at slow speed via Disc Utility. No coasters...:-)
