Capturing Cheque no

I am using Tcode j1incert for TDC Certificate printing in sap ecc6.0.
I am not getting the cheque no in the form out put.
The sapscript form name is : J_1IEWT_CERT
Can anybody suggest with coding to capture the cheque no ?

Hi,
Check first in debugging whether the relevant field is getting populated or not.
If not then put a break point in the print program to check why it is not getting populated.
Then if it is getting populated in the print program then debug the script and check the location where the field is being displayed.

Hi Brahmam,
Feild exit is put on a particular feild not to create additional feilds for a screen. For eg if you want a validation for assignment feild say you are capturing cheque # and you want it to be ony 6 digits then you can go for feild exit.
If you are using F-26 you can capture all the above feilds mentioned by you by way of IMG configuration. Let me know if you can use F-26 instead of F-28.

Payment adjustment against PDC

Our SD person wants to capture PDC(cheque no) received from customer while adjusting the payment (i.e. payment receipt against which cheque no) against Bill.Can anyone plz tell me what standard setting is available to solve this issue or any config change is required for this.

Retention amount is not capturing in cheque counter folio

Hi Santosh,
In this country Bank letters are issued as mode of payment. Unique sequence number is used to track the Bank letter. Since Accounting Document is Unique number I want to use the same.
Kindly suggest the solution for capturing Accounting Document number instead of Cheque number.
Or in other words I want to run F110 without maintaining cheque lot. Is it possible to make payment run without maintaining cheque lot number.

Assignment column-Cheque

Dear friends,
I understand that we have to enter Cheque No. in the assignment column in the T.code F-58, out going payment, to capture the field in the Bank reconcilation.IF the cheque is getting printed after executing the T.code F-58, from the preset cheque Nos, how at the time of entry cheque No. can be entered ? Can any one suggest me practically , is there is any way system can pick up automatically?

You can have the check number in your line item display of both vendor and GL balances (FBL1N & FBL3N), in case if it is helpful to you do the BRS, please do the following changes:
1) Go to T Code O7Z3 and double click on the line layout which you are using add the Check number from field.
2) Go to SPRO - Financial Accounting-Accounts payable & receivables - either vendor or customer - line items - display line items - display line items without ALV - Define Additional Fields for Line Item Display.
Please Revert back whether it was useful one or not

Captura con Problemas

El problema es que no puedo capturar desde ninguna de mis dos videocamaras ,no es problema de cables ni tarjeta Firewre,el premiere lo desinstale y lo carge nuevamente y tampoco va ,utilice los mismo cables en otro ordenador y no da problemas, Podria llegar a ser un problema de ordenador???, lo extraño de todo es que en los comandos de la captura hay veces que ellos funcionan y otras no pero de lo que si nunca va es la imagen ,esta no se ve nunca.
SI saben algo al respecto, espero comentarios,Gracias.

hola saludos desde mexico. seguramnete es tu tarjeta de video ya que tengo el premiere 6.5 y el cs2 y con 2 videocamras tambien me pasa lo mismo...bueno a mi me pasa que al mom,ento de capturar, se frixzzea o se hacen miles de brincos y queda como captura de robotito....una tristeza y desesperacion...yo me dedico a esto y es la hostia!!!

When I am giving link of Account Name field from VPM4 table in Repetitive area0 then system not capturing data (Account Name which used in Outgoing Payment Doc.)
And When I am giving same link in Page Header area, System giving only One Account name but when user create more then one G/L for Outgoing Payment then also system displaying only one G/L Account Name.
Actually this type of data should be come in Repetitive Area0 then only it will repeat, Should I have to link any field with Account Name field ?

ADVC-55 capture device

Helping a director make a showreel for an awards ceremony. A lot of his films are on VHS. He has an ADVC-55 (Canopus) to grab the VHS and convert to digital signal ...
I can't get FCP to 'see' the non-controllable device. I've worked with variations on this device over the years, they're always a bit funky.
Wondering if anyone has worked with this particular device ... and if you can suggest some click I might be missing in FCP so that it isn't reading the device??
My second related question would be ... these things were originally designed to create a DV signal, which we always captured in FCP as DV NTSC. I'm curious to know if there is any way one could capture the signal with ProRes (HQ) NTSC ... or some slightly higher resolution. Some of these VHS' look fairly clean, and of a better resolution than the DV NTSC. Though I may be imagining this.

I have the big brother to this - and for two reasons (Canopus ADVC-300)
• Can return material back to Analog (VHS etc)
• Have a very important function to me - TimeBase correction
- Imports do not halt on drop outs
- Drop outs doesn't set Audio out of sync
(for VHS tapes recorded in LP-mode (8-hours) this is Vital to work)
My list on - No Camera or A/D-box connection - Lot's to cheque ! (goes for iMovie and FINAL CUT)
NO CAMERA or A/D-box
Cable
• Are You sure that You are using the FireWire Cable - USB-Cable will not work for miniDV tape Cameras
FireWire - Sure not using the accompany USB-Cable but bought a 4-pin to 6-pin (or 9-pin) FW one ?
• Test another FW-Cable very often the problem maker.
Camera
• Test Your Camera on another Mac so that DV-in still works OK
• Toggle in iMovie pref. Play-back via Camera (on <-> off some times)
• Some Cameras has a Menu where You must select DV-out to get it to work
• Camera connected to "charger" (mains adaptor) - not just on battery
• Camera set in Playback mode - NOT Recording mode
Does Your Camera or A/D-box work on another Mac ?
Sorry to say it is to easy to turn the 6-pin end of the FW-cable 180 deg wrong.
This is lethal to the A/D-chip in the Camera = needs an expensive repair.
(Hard to find out - else than import/export to another Mac ceased to work
everything else is OK e.g. recording and playback to TV)
A/D-box
• Is the dip-switches set right ?
• Set to same standard as recorded/editing e.g. NTSC 29.97fps or PAL 25fps
• Try resetting it
Connections
• Daisy Chaining most often doesn’t work (some unique cases - it’s the only way that work (some Canon Cameras ?))
Try to avoid connecting Camera <--> external HD <--> Mac but import directly to the Mac then move
the Movie project to dedicated external hard disk.
• FireWire-port - Can be re-setted by - Turn off Mac and disconnecting Mac from Mains/Power for 20-30 minutes
External device’s (hard disk’s)
• Should be FireWire as USB/USB2 performs badly and so does Airport or Net-work connected ones too.
• MUST BE - Mac OS Extended formatted - UNIX/DOS/FAT32/Mac OS Exchange - DO NOT WORK for video due to 4Gb barrier.

• Free space on internal (start-up) hard disk ? Please specify the amount of free space.
(Other hard disks don't count)
I go for a minimum of 25Gb free space for 4x3 SD Video - and my guess is 5 times more for 16x9 HD ones
after material is imported and edited.No Camera or A/D-box
• GarageBands fix - Close iMovie, Open GarageBand, Play some notes, Close GB and iMove can now be OK
• Does Your Mac have a FireWire Port
• White MacBooks - don't
• MacBook-Air - don't
if not then a few Mac’s has a PCM-CIA slot and there are FW-Cards that makes a FW-port this way
else - NO SOLUTION
Only option as I get it is either
• Use another Mac to Capture material (to an external USB2 - Mac OS Extended formatted hard disk - or -
• Change to another Camera that can be used with Your Mac (no there are no miniDV tape Cameras that can)
• If Your Mac-Book has a PCM-CIA Card place - then there are FW-port-Cards and then
You can import via this - but I've not seen this on more modern Macs. My PowerBook G4
has one and this FW-Card-port works greatly.

• Delete iMovie pref. file may help sometimes. I rather start a new account, log into this and have a re-try.
• Any strange Plug-ins into QuickTime as Perian etc ? Remove and try again.
• FileVault is off ? (hopefully)
• Screen Saver - OFF
• Energy Saver - OFF
Using WHAT versions ? .
• Mac OS - X.5.4 ?
• QuickTime version ? (This is the heart in both iMovie and FinalCut)
• iMovie’08 (7.1.?), 09 or 11 ?
• iMovie HD 6 (6.0.4/3) ?
Other ways to import Your miniDV tape
• Use another Camera. There where tape play-back stations from SONY
but they costed about 2-4 times a normal miniDV Camera.
• If Your Camera works on another Mac. Make an iMovie movie project here and move it
over to Your Mac via an external hard disk.
(HAS TO BE Mac OS Extended formatted - USB/DOS/FAT32/Mac OS Exchange WILL NOT DO)
(Should be a FireWire one - USB/USB2 performs badly)

Hi Bengt W, I tried it all, but nothing worked. Your answer has been helpful insofar as all the different trials led to the conclusion that there was something wrong with my iMovie software. I therefore threw everything away and reinstalled iMovie from the HD. After that the exportation of DV videos (there has not been any problem with HDV videos) to my Sony camcorders worked properly as it did before. Thank you. LKN 1935

Thanks for all your suggestions. What I learned is that I had a software problem. I had something called "Nikon Transfer" on my Mac that was recognizing my Canon camcorder as a still camera and was preventing iMovie from working properly. After un-installing Nikon Transfer and doing a reboot, everything worked great.
I never liked the Nikon Transfer software anyway--I guess I'll get a cheap card reader and use that to transfer photos in the future.

What I exactly did.- put camera in play mode - open guide - choose connection guide - choose comp./printer (where to transfer movie to) - select connection.- i-link (on my camera) but equal to firewire - OK - choose HDV - choose NO for conversion of i.link.
Settings are shown then (VCR HDV/DV.- HDV and i.link-conv..- OFF), press OK, OK, END.
Switch camera off. Connect firewire cable to camera & Mac. Switch camera on, in play/edit mode.
Open i-movie, choose import from camera. On screen below the camera connection is shown.- DV (HDV). Now you can import, automatically or manually.
This worked perfectly for me. Took me 2 days to find out. Could not find any clear thread explaining what I had to do on the camera and the manual was not clear either.

Unable to capture packets on ASA(ASDM)

Hi all,
We have site to site VPN connection to one of our client. From which we both are accessing our applications and other resources. Now client needs to acccess two of our internal server. So we have created Static NAT in our ASA. For one server they are accessing without any issues. But the other server they are not able to connect. Since its vpn tunnel we havent blocked any ports and its open to all traffic. But their side they have restricted and we need to see whether the packets hitting our ASA or not. Once we observes this, its easy for us to escalate them. I tried packet capture wizard in ASDM. But its not showing anything. Can anyone tell me how to capture packets realated to Static NAT. Please let me know if you want anyother details?
local 20.0.0.0/24 -->this will get natted to --->12.0.6.0/24 when going in for tunnel

Where are you trying to initiate the connection from?
If they are trying to initiate the connection towards your end, and the traffic doesn't reach your end, then there will be nothing on your ASA packet capture.
Please share what you have configured to capture the traffic?
To check if the traffic is reaching the inside interface, just configure ACL between source (real IP) and destination (remote IP), and apply the capture on the inside interface. This will confirm if the traffic is coming inbound towards the inside interface.
To check if the traffic is leaving the inside interface towards the host behind your ASA, configure ACL between source (remote IP), and destination (host real IP), and apply the capture on the inside interface. This will confirm if the traffic is leaving your ASA inside interface towards the host.

Unable to capture video with MSI StarForce 822 GeForce 3!

I have a MSI StarForce 822 GeForce3 graphics card with 64 MB DDR SDRAM on it. I have VGA Out, as well as TV-out (AV), TV-out (S-video), and TV-in(?) (S-video).
This brings me to two questions:
First, I have NEVER been able to figure out how to use the TV-in (S-video) port. I have tried numerous programs designed to capture video, including the one that came with the graphics card, and none of them recognize the card's TV-in. Do you have any recommendations as to how to use this port to capture video?
Second, in reading through the online manual for the graphics card on the company's website (under the name G3 Pro-VT64D MS-8822), I saw that the card supposedly has the capability of "High-quality HDTV/DVD playback" (8822 v2.0.pdf, page 8 ). However, in playing back DVD's through the card's s-video output onto my HDTV-ready monitor, I definately do not see HD quality videos. Could explain why this is the case?
I have an assignment coming up where I must do some video-editing work, and thus I am posed with a situation where I need to capture video using this card (and I can't afford to buy something new for the moment).

If you have the Video Capture Driver installed then the video capture program should see it. On MSI site version 1.16 of the driver is available for download.
If you still have problems (e.g. too many frames lost) you can try using Virtual VCR (worked best in my case).

Unable to Capture PAL DV footage

I'm working on a project that requires I edit with both PAL and NTSC footage shot on mini-DV. I was about to purchase a plug-in to convert the PAL footage to NTSC, but find that I can't even capture the PAL footage to begin with.
I tried using both a deck and a camera as the source device to capture from and they both play the tape just fine and on the camera's LCD (not a PAL camera by the way), I can view the footage perfectly, but still FCP does not acknowledge any video on the tapes.
I've even tried capturing on iMovie-it tells me that the footage can't be captured because it is 'half-frames' and mentions LP and SP modes. Would this really matter and why does my camera play it just fine?
Also, when I play the tape on the camera and plug-in to a television, the picture keeps rolling, but again, plays perfectly on my non-pal camera.
I've tried switching all pre-sets to PAL, but it doesn't help.
I'm about to make a dub tape with a PAL camera (Sony Z1U) and see what happens, but if anyone has any other suggestions, I'd really appreciate any help.

Unable to capture return values in web services api

At the time of login to web services if my server is down ,
it returns following error :
java.lang.StringIndexOutOfBoundsException: String index out of range: -1
        at java.lang.String.substring(String.java:1438)
        at java.lang.String.substring(String.java:1411)
I want to capture this error so that i can try another server to login. how do i capture this error
Another place where i want to capture the return Value is when i look for a report on the server

I have got a list of servers running web servcies stored in my tokens. when i pass the first server name say " test:8080" and that server is down , i want to catch somewhere in the code above that it did not get the connection so that i can loop back and try with the second server say test1:8080

Unable to capture data in an editable dynamic ALV.

I have created a dynamic editable ALV whose displayed structure can be changed at runtime based on the selection in a drop down list value selector.
Im trying to capture the values entered in the ALV into an internal table before the user changes the structure of the ALV to a different structure.
In the ON_SELECT event handler of the drop down list box , im rasing a data_check event to capture the ALV data.
The problem is that the control is not entering the event handler for the data_check event.
If i raise the data_check event in my save event handler or any other event handler , it works fine.
Can someone please suggest a solution.

Unable to capture audio

Hi,
Last week I updated the drivers for my Blackmagic Multibridge extreme. Now when I try to capture the material in FinalCutPro 5.1.4 I can see the picture, hear the sound on my monitors (they are connected directly to Multibridge), but the captured material doesn't have sound, because it takes the sound from the internal audio input. I tried to capture from Blackmagic Deck Control (an external application) and it works fine, it captures with sound. So I suspect I have to change the audio input in FCP, but dont know where. In audio/video settings in FCP everything is set to DeckLink (Multibrige extreme).
Where is the problem?

Thanks for the reply.
Looking at system preferences I found that audio input was set microphone. Don't know how it happened. I switched it to DeckLink and now FCP displays 16 input channels in Log and Capture dialog. I didn't try to capture yet but I think it solved the problem, because before I had only two channels displyed.
