Capturing menu items on slide menu

Hi - I'm using Cp 6 and trying to capture each level on a sliding menu but not having much luck.  The orange highlight box should be over the 3rd level of the menu but just floats on the screen until the end of the slide is reached. At that point, the 3rd level menu item appears for a split second before Cp moves to the next slide.
Can anyone share what's going on.
Thank you,
Jeanne

Hi Lilybiri,
No, it's not the orange highlight box that I'm having an issue with.  When a user is on the actual website, there is a submenu option that appears when the mouse hovers over "Manage Admin Users," the 4th option on the menu.  This is never correctly captured within Captivate.  When I play back what I recorded, you'll see the first menu set of items but as i move to the submenu selections, I never get the submenu choices on any of those.  When I preview or publish, I get an empty area where the menu items should be.  The orange highlight box that is precisely placed by Cp because that's where the submenu item should show up but isn't.  Then as I said originally, during the last split second before the slide moves on, you'll see the missing menu item.
Thank you,
Jeanne

  • Capturing menu video

I am making a demo DVD and would like to show video of the iDVD menu animation within my project which I'm making with FCP. Is this possible to do?

    2. isn't always necessary.  I've never had an issue capturing with the native Win 7 driver.
    5. also isn't necessary.  Capture works just fine with hardware acceleration on.  (What you can't do here is output video with it on, but capture works fine.)
3 and 4 might not always be the correct order.  I had a system that would only work right if I started Premiere Pro first, then connected the device, waited for Windows to see it, and then opened the capture pane.  Any other sequence and capture just wouldn't work.
    6. has nothing at all to do with capture.
I understand the goal here, but I really feel your guide is filled with some misinformation.

    Hey,

  • Printing only visible item on slide in Captivate 4

    Hello,
I am trying to print a slide in the project. However, on this particular slide, I have several items that are not visible unless the certain variables are true. When I use Captivate's print widget, it prints EVERYTHING on the slide, regardless of whether it is visible or not. Essentially, what I want to print is only what is showing on the screen like what the "print screen" function will do. Is there anyway that this can be done?

See if this widget would help: http://captivatedev.com/2011/10/09/adobe-captivate-widget-dynamic-pdf-export/

  • Capturing Detail Items for a Related List in a New Item Form

I have a simple (ha!) requirement to capture Purchase Requests with the individual line items being captured in a separate List.  I have been using InfoPath, but will consider ANY solution at this point.
If I have an Edit Item Form, I can have a Data View (LIst View Web part) that will display all related items in my Details List (using a filter on the Parent ID).  I can even add a Data Form Web Part below this to allow for the entry of a single itme
at a time, and make the lookup field of the new item default to the ID of the parent item.
All well and good for the Edit Item.  But if I want to do the same on my New Item Form, I am up the proverbial without a paddle because I do not have access to the ID of the Parent List Item (that is still being captured).
So, using any of the standard SharePoint technologies (except Visual Studio), how can I create a New Item Form, in which I can enter items for a related details List and see those detail items already entered, all while capturing the original form?

    Hi Mike,
According to your description, my understanding is that you want to get the details of the related items in New Item form.
I recommend to edit the new item form in InfoPath and use repeating table to display the related items based on the value in the lookup column.
    Here are the detailed steps:
Edit the new item form(listB for example) in InfoPath and then add the related list(listA for example) including all the details you need as external data source to the form.
Choose the secondary data source added in step1 in Fields panel and then expand dataFields, then right click d:SharePointListItem_RW and select Repeating Table to insert the secondary data source added in step1 as repeating table to the form.
Right click d:SharePointListItem_RW in the Fields panel and select Rules, then click New and select Formatting in Rules panel.
Click None under Condition in Rules panel, then select ID field in the repeating table in the first box, select is not equal to in the second box, then choose Select a field or group in the third box and select Main under Fields, then click the lookup field
in the form and then click OK.
Select Hide this control under Formatting in Rules panel.
    Thanks,

  • Capturing line items in the routine-mail order sending problem

    Hi
I am sending Sales Order Output to the Email.
I have configured the output type Using Option 'External Send' Option.
But the Problem is Whenever there are blocks for Sales Order Email Should not be send.
    1.    When there is a block in Sales Order Header, then no email should be sent.
    2.    Similary when there is a block Sales Order Item , then no email should be sent.
There is some standard routine attached to Outputtype Procedures .
First Condition we can met using routine, in the routine if the block is there , then no output will
    be triggered.
But in the same routine we couldn't able to capture item level data to validate the second condition.
If anybody is having the idea to validate second condition, Please help me.

  • Masterslides and item on slides?

I am creating courses that will eventually be viewed on tablets (Android and iPad). I've had some issues with some of my slides loading really slow, when I play a course on an android device.
I had created the course originally in Captivate 5, but updated it  in Captivate 7 and published it to html5 for viewing on mobile devices. Anyways, some of the "look" of the course I created by using shapes and lines etc, because in Captivate 5 you couldn't really edit the look of captions etc. I, for example, used transparent captions over shapes  to create a more pleasing "look".  I've heard that having too many items on one slide may cause issues when viewing a course on a tablet. I've experienced some issues when testing this course using an Android tablet, where some captions and shapes wouldn't load completely or not at all.
Therefore, I am thinking it might make sense to "declutter" some of my slides, and remove the extra objects, especially since shapes can now have texts.
So here is my question about master slides. If I place a shape on a master slide, will it still be an "additional" object on the slide, or does the master slide become more like a background picture and therefore anything that's on the master slide becomes more like one object.
    Hope this question makes sense

For the sake of other users: shapes have always been able to be text containers, nothing new there.  Even the drawing objects in CP5 had that functionality. And you could and can create custom captions, only it is a bit cumbersome. Totally agree with the ease of shapes, my blog proves that I'm a big fan: Why I like Shape Buttons - Captivate 6! - Captivate blog   and   Toggle Shape buttons - Captivate 6 - Captivate blog   and   Buttons on Question/Score Slides in Captivate 6? - Captivate blog
When developing for mobile, try to limit the number of slides, to limit the number of objects, to use objects on master slides or timed for the rest of the project and... use shared actions instead of advanced actions. All tips to reduce file size.

  • Capture delivery item in FI substitution

I need a way of capturing the delivery item number in a FI document, at PGI.
The trouble I am haivng is that the delivery has a high level item (posnr 10), and then sublevel items (posnr 90001/2/3).  In the FI 2 lines are created matching to 90001, 900002, and 900003, but in the user exit I haven't been able to find the correct POSNR value.  I've tried looking at teh call stack but tables like (SAPMV50A)lips always have the posnr set to the last read value 900003, so in each of the 3 calls to the user exit the posnr value = 900003.
Does anyone know of another way of capturing the sublevel items?

I found that ou can access (SAPMV50A)XLIPS from here

    Hi -
You need to designate the external drive as your scratch disk -
FCP3 is several versions ago, and I assume your are on OS 9?
You need to get to where you control your System Settings, or preferences for FCP.
There should be a pane that allows you to designate your scratch drive of your choice.
I've forgotten what it looks like in FCP 3, in newer FCP versions it looks like this:
But as pointed out, you really need to be capturing DV with a Firewire external.

  • LE_SHP_DELIVERY_PROC BAdi implementation - capture delivery item change

    Hi Community Members,
I am recently working on enhancement which is going to forbid quantity changes for delivery line items
if corresponding PO line item is blocked or deleted.
To do this I want to use BAdi LE_SHP_DELIVERY_PROC (Enhancements in Delivery Processing)
One of methods PUBLISH_DELIVERY_ITEM imports 2 internal tables:
IT_XLIPS     Current Status of Delivery Items
    IT_YLIPS     Database Status: Delivery Items
Inside the method I am checking if recent quantity value (IT_XLIPS-LFIMG) is not equal to the one from database (IT_YLIPS-LFIMG). If so then I throw error.
Everything is ok, but I have encountered a strange behavior.
For example when I change delivery item quantity (LFIMG, for example 1->2 ) and then go back to the initial value (2->1)...
The problem is that when entering the method (debugger) I can see inside IT_XLIPS that LFIMG is updated, but Gross/Net weigth and volume fields still have old values (NTGEW, BRGEW, VOLUM).
That is a problem because highly possible is that after quantity field customer will also want to validate weight and volume fields.
Moreover I also checked FILL_DELIVERY_ITEM and CHANGE_DELIVERY_ITEM methods of BAdi mentioned. In all of them weight/volume (and probably other fields also) behave the same.
Could you share your comments on this issue please?
What would you recommend to do to enable such validation?
    Kind Regards,
    Piotr.

    Hi
Check method DELIVERY_FINAL_CHECK. See the sample implementation and how you can write the message in CT_FINCHDEL.
Other option is to use the classic userexits. See SAP Note 415716 - User exits in delivery processing with the recommendations for them.
    I hope this helps you
    Regards
    Eduardo

  • Select Items on Slide (tab?)

In Powerpoint, using the tab key, selects individual objects and text boxes on a slide. Is there anything like that in Keynote.
    Thanks.

Tab selects objects (in order of depth) from back to front and Shift-Tab selects objects from front to back. So, if you're pressing Tab a few times and have found that you've gone past your target, just hold down Shift and press Tab and you won't have to go through the entire stack again

  • Please create a menu widget with accordion properties.

Hi. I love the menu widget, how it picks up all the pages and subpages, and how changes in the site plan are automatically reflected in the menu system. Awesome!
I would like to have a menu widget that allows me to create a menu in which clicking on a menu item causes all the other menu items to slide down and expose the next submenu. The same happens when clicking on a submenu item, for as many levels of menus as there are.
On your chat support, I was informed I would have to use an accordion widget, which would have been fine, EXCEPT.... every single change in the site structure--adding, subtracting, moving a page--has to be done manually. The accordion widget does not automatically propagate changes like the menu widget does. I would like it to!
Contact me if I'm not clear enough. [email protected] (Adobe staff only please.)
    Thanks.

It would be great to have a blog/forum feature built into Muse that looks and works similar to this forum.  I would like a forum where people could reply to post.

I think that an accordion will serve you purpuse better. Have a look at the following
