Car Kit with bluetooth connection for N70 (CK-7W)

I have been using for years without any trouble.
All of a sudden I am asked an "authentification code"
If anyone can help ?

Hello
It could be an issue with your software itself, rather than the phone. Do you regularly update your software? If not this may be an idea, you can do this using the Blackberry Desktop Software.
If you do you may need to look into resetting your software, i'll watch this thread for a reply and will explain how if you like.
Hope this helps

Please stop posting in ALL UPPER CASE; it is considered SHOUTING, is harder to read, and is considered rude.
If you have not yet done so unpair the car kit from the phone, or better yet reset it completely, Forget the car kit in the iPhone, and pair it anew.

  • Iphone 3GS with bluetooth connection with Audi car kit

I connected my iphone 3GS to my Audi car system through bluetooth connection. The Audi system recognizes the iphone and his address phone and all works well.
The issue comes when I disconnect the iphone from the car kit. After, even someone calls me, the call ringtone rings only two times and after switches off during the incoming call. This issue is random, sometimes the alarm rings well, sometimes not by working in the way described above. Someone has the same issue and knows how solve it? Is an issue linked to hw or only sw?
    thanks

    Hi.,
Can I check with you if you have this problem..
I assume you have paired the iPhone 3GS to the Audi carkit.
First, play something on the iPod.
Then go to the Bluetooth settings page where you can see all the paired devices.
after that, make a connection to the carkit.
Is there any stuttering or audio breaking you hear from the carkit?
I have this problem with my iTech BluebandR headset and iSkin Cerulean RX. I only found this problem with iPhone 3GS but it worked fine with 3G.

  • After working fine for several months, my iPhone 5 has started dropping bluetooth connectivity for 2 to 5 seconds at a time with my Sony MDR-1RBT headphones.  The headphones work fine with other devices.  I haven't moved to ios7 yet.  Any ideas?

After working fine for several months, my iPhone 5 has started dropping bluetooth connectivity for 2 to 5 seconds at a time with my Sony MDR-1RBT headphones.  The headphones work fine with other bluetooth devices.  I haven't moved to iOS7 yet.  Any ideas?

What user troubleshooting have you done on the phone? The steps are restart, reset, restore from backup, restore as new. Understand that a restore will put the latest iOS on your device. It is also possible there is a hardware fault on the device and the Bluetooth is failing. Anything is possible given the scenario you describe.
And as far as iOS 7.x is concerned, we have 5 different iPhones here at home, all with the latest iOS, a 4, 4s, 5c, and 2-5s and all are working just fine. So, a blanket statement such as the one provided by the other poster is not completely true. Others are not having any issues at all either.

  • Car kit automatic A2DP connection

I'm not entirely sure if this is a problem on my phone, or with the car kit, but I figured if I post on both ends, someone might know the answer.
With my N95 and N97, as soon as I turn on my car (equipped with Nokia CK-100), I automatically get connected to BT HFP and A2DP profiles.  The car kit will tell me, "Phone connected."  A second later, "Player connected."  With the N8, the car kit will only connect to just the phone automatically.  For the player to connect while the car is on, I have to open up the music player and play a song, which will then force N8 to make the A2DP connection.  So when that happens, you hear a 1.5 second message saying, "Player connected" followed by music that is already 2 to 3 seconds into the song.  I thought it was perhaps the Car Kit getting full with the list of paired devices (memory is for 8 pairings), but clearing the list doesn't help.  I thought it was the Car Kit firmware, so I upgraded it to 4.401, no luck.  Then when I paired my old N97 and N95, both HFP and A2DP connections were made automatically when I boot up my car as expected!  But not the N8.
Problem with the Car Kit, or problem with S^3?

The N8 on PR1 is still not a good excuse for the many bugs that it has.  It's just unimaginable that something that worked solidly with S60v3 and S60v5 and suddenly with the improved Symbian OS a mature and functional feature suddenly has a bug?  I just don't understand how that could've made it into the N8.  Is it the OS?  Or is it the BT chipset?  In either case, quality control got missed.
Thanks, though, for letting me know that I'm not the only one to experience this.  I'll stop trying to fix this as this is a problem outside of my control.

You must have all your contacts on the simcard.  Try copying all the contacts on to the simcard and then see what happens.

  • I recently purchased a car stereo with Bluetooth capability. I paired my iPhone 4S with it and it wasn't working properly. I went into forget this device. Then found out it was something they did when they installed it. Now it won't pair again. Help

I recently purchased a new car stereo with Bluetooth capability. I paired my phone with the stereo and it wasn't working correctly, did forget this device. Found out it was a problem with the radio. Now it's fixed and my phone won't pair with it again. How can I pair it again?

You will need to put the car stereo back into discovery/pairing mode. That may mean you removing the initial pairing of the device. See the user guide for the radio on how to put the device into discovery/pairing mode, and if necessary, how to remove the original pairing. This support document may also provide you with some assistance. http://support.apple.com/kb/TS3581

  • Different Bluetooth connections for phone and music streaming

Can I have different Bluetooth connections for phone and music streaming functions on my 4s? If I can is there a way that the will automatically select (remember) the proper bluetooth receiver?

TDMA interference, and is a type of RFI (Radio Frequency Interference) unique to GSM mobile phones. It affects all GSM mobile phones, but is not harmful to you or your electronics. It is just an audible indicator of network activity.
GSM mobile phones generate this interference when they communicate with the cellular network. You don't need to be actively using the phone, as it constantly accessing the network to check signal strength, synchronize the clock, or perform other network-related tasks. The only way to stop this interference is to turn off the phone or its network capabilities. For example, by using Airplane Mode.

  • Echo for people I speak to using car kit with Noki...

Just wondering has anyone experienced this problem before. When I'm on the phone to people using my car kit, they're complaining of hearing their own voice a second later.
But.. its not happening all the time. I phoned someone yesterday and it was very bad, yet when I called back it was fine.
Has anyone come across the solution to this?
Here's the kit model thats installed..
    http://www.bury.com/technologies/GB/hands-free/1/UNI-System8/UNI-CarTalk

There are a couple of things that can be done, 1/ try removing battery on phone to reset software, 2/ keep the handsfree volume down, 3/ make sure the mic is not near the speaker, 4/ make sure the mic is not near the areial and the cables are not taped together.

  • Symbian^3 Bluetooth Connectivity for Navigation

    Does anyone know
    how I can switch my C7or N8
to get navigation commands over Bluetooth
to the Car Hands Free Kit,
like it works for Phone Calls?
The new CarMode App just has big Icons,
    but not the necessary functionality
and is therefore senseless Memory load.

    @aspergerguy
You are right, I referred to Car Mode without MirrorLink.
You are right, Car Mode with MirrorLink might be designed for Cable Connection.
You are right, nobody at Nokia seems to have the slightest look on Users need.
Many others and me are right, when we say,
it is IMPORTANT to get NAVIAGTION COMMANDS over BLUETOOTH
as well as Music over BLUETOOTH.
    It is a simple function,
    simple to desgin
with priority configuration by the user,
    in a simple menue and
for much comfort to the user and
    necessary for traffic security.
It is nothing new, while its included in older nokia handsets.
Its just to ignore what many users need.
Do you know how we could have that with priority at nokias list?

  • IPOD 30 GB CAR KIT WITH  IRIVER

HI...I have an IRIVER and all the car kit accessories...Including the lighter adpater...Can I use it with my ipod 30gb? It has the k7 and the lighter adpter...WITH HAS THE 1.4 POWER...
    Thanks!

Thanks for the fast reply! Does this mean that I can load songs from the eMac running 10.3.9 to the WINDOWS formatted iPod? It seems not-- it sounds like I must first transfer all my music / photos / videos that are in iTunes on the eMac to the IBM Windows PC and THEN copy them to the iPod. Is that correct?
AND I believe the PC only has USB 1.0 - so that will be slow, eh?
BUT I guess I could preload a LOT of stuff onto the iPod from the eMac and then just let my daughter enjoy-- no need for her to connect to the PC, just enjoy the nearly 30 gb of "stuff"--
Thanks for any comments-- I'm told that the iPod WILL RECHARGE via the USB 1.0 port on the PC-- but if it is formatted for MAC will the iPod still recharge? (Trying to avoid a separate iPod recharger as my daughter overseas for 4 months, and the fewer things she has to lose, the better...!)
    Regards, Steve

  • Can't use internet with bluetooth connection between iPhone and macbook

My iPhone and my macbook both show that I have a successful bluetooth connection, but I can't use the internet on my macbook.  What might be the problem?

Basic question: Do you have a tethering plan with your carrier? It isn't automatically provisioned; you have to ask for it and pay extra with most carriers. See these tips from Apple:
