Car Phone Kit

 Hi,
I have a car phone cradle in my Land Rover that came with the vehicle.
  I am trying to find out what phones are compatable with it, the only details I can see are;
FHC 500221
06 100 0030 00000000
TYPE HH-10
MADE IN GERMANY
07 00139/ 079619N 15
All of the above is on a sticker with Nokia & Land Rover on it.
Land rover are trying to find out for me but not having much luck.
Any help greetly appricated.

OK your car kit is a cark-128 which is compatable with Nokia 3310 & 3330 phones. Your Nokia 5210 is not car kit compatable so you will have to either buy an old 3310 phone or upgrade your phone & kit to a full new system. You can still buy the nokia 1100 which is now 1101, but its not going to sit & work properly in your existing kit.
Any profesional car kit installer will be able to take out you old kit & refit a new one without damaging you lovely new Jag.
Good luck & hope this helps.

If you were not syncing the contacts in your phone with a contact manager or cloud service, there is no way to get them from the car to the phone other than manually re-entering them in the phone.

Re: Z10 Bluetooth problem with handsfree since update to 10.1.0.273[ New ] Options

    Wednesday
I'm using my TomTom GO930 for handsfree. I had a similar issue - Z10 wouldn't pair with it after the update. It was compounded by TomTom also releasing an update which I installed around the same time. So I didn't know which update to blame.
What fixed it for me was to reboot both devices (restart for Z10, reset for TomTom), clear the pairing on both Z10 (to TomTom) and TomTom (to Z10). Another reboot for both devices after clearing their pairings. Then proceeded to pair them again. It worked.
That was 2 days ago. I haven't had issues so far.

  • I can't connect my iphone 4 via bluetooth with my car phone

I cant connect my iphone via bluetooth with my car phone. Bluetooth is switched on on the iphone and the car phone says ready for bluetooth telephony yet the phone just keeps on searching without connecting? Any ideas as Apple phone support doesn't start until 9am (not very accommodating for a company whose equipment runs 24/7)

    Car phone?
You are trying to connect your iphone to another phone?

  • Directory import from 9720 to car phone

    Hello,
I've just bought a 9720 and I cannot import the directory to the car phone. The car is a Megane3 and the 9720 is well connected.
I had before an old blackberry and there was no problem.
    Please help !
(The problem occurs in France where I live...)
    Bertrand

    Hello,
Here are the way I do (the following texts are in French as my blackberry writes them). My blackberry is connected with the car :
I go in the blackberry menu :
    - Configuration
    - Bluetooth
    - My_Radiosat (it is the name of the car phone)
    Then I lauch :
    - Transférer les contacts
It begins to work but a second later the following error message appear on the blackberry screen :
    "Transfert interrompu"
    I don't know why...

  • E51 cannot tranfer phone contacts to Car phone dir...

Can anyone help here! I cannot transfer my contacts list via bluetooth from my E51 phone sim card to the cars phone directory.I can made and receive calls ok and I've read all the instructions, even the demo video! I could always do this with my 6230i no problems ! Help please

    Hi all,
The "Contact Download Application" is not a complete solution for this problem. I have a Parrot 3200-LS which worked fine with my old 6230i - the contacts synched across and the call log (outgoing/incoming/missed) was accessible through the Parrot.
Running the Application on the E51 does force the contacts onto the Parrot, but it never stops (the animation on the Parrot constantly rotates - you never get a "synch finished" message). Running the application in the background constantly must also run the battery down. The call log does not get synched at all.
So surely this is a band aid fix with a firmware update in the pipeline? Otherwise the sheer convenience may force me back to my 6230i.

  • Blue tooth not recognizing my car phone

  • Bluetooth conection to car phone

Hi last week i bought a new car and paired the z10 to the phone no problem i then had a update notice on my phone i downloaded the update but my phone will not ring or take call throught the phone how do i get rid of the update as nissan say the car phone is fine its the phone . help

Sometimes unfortunately the auto company people don't know a lot about BlueTooth devices and how to set them up. So, you may need to dig further.
Before you go back to them, check if your Bluetooth is turned on. Swipe down from the top edge of the screen. There is a Bluetooth icon in the top right of the icons which come down. Is it blue or white? If it's white, then it's turned off and you just need to touch that icon to turn Bluetooth on.
Dig deeper by pressing on the word BlueTooth. Does it show that your car's bluetooth is paired. It should show the name of the car's bluetooth (I don't know if it will appear as your car model but that's determine by your car's system.) If it's grey then it's just not connected. It should however say "Paired" on the right side. If it's not paired or doesn't appear, then you just need to pair it again with the Bluetooth on your car.
The BlueTooth section of your Z10 manual is at http://docs.blackberry.com/en/smartphone_users/deliverables/47561/mes1334609105805.jsp
You may need your Nissan manual for the vehicle also to setup pairing.

  • Nokia 616 car phone with E51

    Hi,
So I have the Nokia 616 bluetooth car phone, I had the E50 and it worked fine, but ever since I got the E51 it never picks up a network when I connect. I manage to connect and download my contacts, my phone goes into remote sim mode as it should but anytime I try and make a call there's no network and it tells me "no network coverage" any ideas?

I think you need to head over to the Forum Nokia Site.

  • How can i download my contacts into an in car phone system that only accepts v.card format

How do I import contacts into an in car phone system that only accepts a v.card format.

You can't. If the system doesn't support the PBAP bluetooth profile, you can not transfer your contacts to it.

  • IPhone and iSimple: How to default to phone kit vs dock connector?

I have a Honda and the iSimple works good.  But I like to use the dock connector, but the phone defaults to dock connector and need to manually change to the phone kit to get the sound through my system.  This is not safe while driving.  I don't mind changing before I start driving, but if I switch from radio to the iPhone/iTunes then this happens.  Any suggestions?  I tried using voice commands--fail!  I could not find any settings to change for preferences.

There are no settings to control which gets preference.
If the device is connecting to the vehicles head unit via Bluetooth you could turn off Bluetooth on the device and only use the iSimple device.

  • OVI Suite Doesn't Sync Car Phone and Pager Fields

    Hi,
I'm very very disappointed with this new suite, but I had to start using it as Nokia PC Suite doesn't work with x64 version of Windows.
Now, I'm facing this annoying issue. Fields such as "Car Phone" or Pager never get synchronized to my E90 device. Even when I'm creating a new entry on the device it doesn't sync to my OVI or Outlook!!
It looks like if the OVI suite doesn't recognized these fields at all!!!!!!
    Any suggestions?????

This is OVI and Nokia style of ignorance. I have sent them several request last months, no reply at all.
They don't batter about this issue at all. I have the same problem on my N8 and from what  I can see, Nokia has forgotten to implement Carphone in Nokia Suite, which I expect to be an easy task for them to solve.
Where is a responsible Nokia manager?

  • IPhone 5S bluetooth pairing with prius in-car phone Issue

Let me begin by saying that this is my first problem with any apple device!  EVER!!
I have an Verizon iPhone 5S, less than 2 months old, with the new OS 8.0.2 update and it will no longer pair correctly with my 2012 Prius V's in-car bluetooth phone.  You try to call someone, it doesn't connect and you can't hang up!!!! Then auto-calls them when you turn the bluetooth on (in the phone)... but doesn't physically make the call on the phone.  Now if the bluetooth in my phone is on, and I even start the car, the car states it's trying to call home.  I have attempted many of the following in different combinations with no success:
Tried to end the call on the car's interface (it won't turn off), pressed the hang up button on the steering wheel -- nada.
    Restarted Phone
    Turned Car on/off/on
Removed all pairings and re-paired them together
Made sure the LTE option was on (the iPhone 6 option, which seems to be relatively successful, for data and voice/voice only/data only is not an option on iPhone 5S)
Now, my husband has a Droid 4 and it works seamlessly with the bluetooth pairing.  The car does play, through the bluetooth, Audio through the phone.
I guess I should also state I did NOT have any issues with iOS 8.0 or the 8.0.1 upgrades with pairing with the car's bluetooth technology.  I have checked and my Entune "upgrades" are all up to date.

    Hello Sorridera,
The article linked below details a number of steps that can restore your iPhone's ability to correctly connect to your vehicle's Bluetooth system.
