Cards App: Credit Card(s) Declined Every Time
This is frustrating. I'm trying to give Apple my $2.99 and the Cards App just keeps saying credit card declined. I did succesfully order a card from it on Thursday 10/13/11.
I know that my card is good. I have ensured that it is the same card that in under Store in the Settings App on my iPhone and under Store>View My Account inside of iTunes on my Mac.
I switched it up from a MasterCard to a Visa to a AMEX and all get the same result after the CVV code is entered...Credit Card Is Declined.
What's even more frustrating is that I can use PayPal as my source of funds on iTunes on my Mac, but not on my iPhone. When I switched to PayPal (thinking that might solve it) and tried to place the Card order it asked me for the CVV Code (what a CVV code for PayPal). When I went to the Store Setting on my iPhone it says that PayPal is not authorized to be used the mobile device.
What's up Apple. Life with you used to be easy and hassle free. Now there are a lot more headaches.
Please fix the billing process in your Cards App Apple. It should be exactly the same as purchasing an App from your App Store....Which you still let me do.

I entered my credit card info in iTunes; Store > View My Account and verified that the same credit card appeared when I checked on my iPhone; Settings > Store > Apple ID: > View Apple ID
The only thing I noticed this time is that Apple does not have a field for a middle initial on the billing address for your credit card. So when @Starv mentions make sure that the billing address is exactly the same...it appears that this may be impossible if your billing address uses a middle initial. Unless I just add my middle initial in the first name field?

If it's a credit card then is it registered to exactly the same name and address (including format and spacing etc) that you have on your iTunes account, it was issued by a bank in your country and you are currently in that country ? If it is then you could check with the card issuer to see if it's them that are declining it, and if not then try contacting iTunes support and see if they know why it's being declined : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Account Management -

Is it a new account ? If it is then unless you use the instructions on this page when creating a new account : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2534
then credit card details will need to be entered before the account can be used to download any item from the store - you should be able to remove your card's details after entering them.
If you don't have a credit card then you will need to create a new account, and this time use the instructions on that HT2534 page when creating it. If you want to use the same email address then you will need to replace it on that account first e.g. by tapping on it in Settings > iTunes & App Store on your phone and logging into it, via the Store > View Account menu option on your computer's iTunes, or via http://appleid.apple.com

uchas graciasAl final resolvi el problema, al restaurarlo tampoco se arreglo, así que revise las APP, y la APP de nike Fuel hacia que no me contase la distancia andando corriendo de la app de salud del iPhone. Al borrarla ahora si me cuenta la app de salud.
Ahora solo tengo instalada esa y la de Nike, pero no la de nike fuel, a ver si asi se soluciona lo tuyo también.

Yes you can redeem the card if it is a U.S. gift card, you have a U.S. based iTunes account and if you are using the U.S. stores on the iPad.
On the iPad - Swipe to the bottom of the screen in the App Store or in iTunes and tap on Redeem. If you are using iTunes on your computer, you should see Redeem under Quick Links (i think that is where you will see it) after you sign into the store. -
I have my Calendar app syncing with iCloud. Every time I open it it says, "Moving Calendars to Server Account..." It runs and runs and does not stop. As a result, I cannot access my calendars. Please help.

I accientally synced my iPhone to 2 different computers. Now my older apps are on one computer and new apps are on another. Every time I try to sync all apps on one computer it takes the other apps of and just syncs what is on that computer - Help please
I cannot for the life of me figure this out.What you need to do is connect your phone to iTunes but do not click sync. Go to File at the top and click transfer purchases from phone, that'll put all your apps into iTunes. When it's done transferring, locate your phone on the sidebar and click it. Then find the apps option above the picture of your iphone, you can select which apps you want or don't want on your phone. After selecting your apps then you can sync. Once you do this you should never have your problem anymore.

Please help me. My YouTube app will not work. Every time I open it says 'cannot connect to youtube'. I have searched for help and tried resetting my settings and rebooting my ipad2 but nothing has solved the issue.
Yes, I am connected to the Internet through my wifi. Everything is working fine with the e eption of youtube. I have reset all Internet settings and have tried synching to iTunes followed by rebooting. This is all the advice I have found although none of it has been helpful.

Why does a delated app keep trying to download every time I sync
I have deleted an app from my iPhone and it does not appear in my app. list any more, everytime I re sync using itunes it appears on my iPhone to be trying to download again. This appears to be messing up my synchronisation because the sync bar just keeps going until I delete the app from the iPhone screen every time. The particular app is a website app and I have deleted the website from everywhere on my computer in an attempt to stop this happening but it still keeps reappearing, any ideas please?

You can delete them in your Downloads list but not permanently.

- The app passes successfully the local Windows App Certification Kit 3.4.
- I have tried the app with the network cable out, and it works as expected.
- I have used the same credentials to generate the appupload package and to submit it.
- The app starts up and works as expected with a Surface Pro 3, a PC with development tools like Visual Studio; and another PC without anything extra installed.
- The feedback provided by the certification testers is the following sentence: "10.3.1 App is testable: Unfortunately when we reviewed your app, it failed to launch every time."
- Their attachment is a screenshot showing a fullscreen, flat color, rectangle.
- There is no crash report of any kind.
- The e-mail interaction with the certification guys seems to be quite a nonsensical conversation.

Ok when I install an app, even a free one, it always asks for my log in then takes me to the app. Never have problems with this unless my phone has an update, as soon as I install an update, my billing information get's messed up so it won't allow me to download or update apps. I've gone in to correct the billing information, which was only the security code from the back of my card, and it will not accept the changes. How do I fix this?

Settings > iTunes and App store > Apple ID = Sign Out... Then Sign In using the preferred Apple ID.
It should be Noted that anything Downloaded with a Particular Apple ID is tied to that Apple ID and Cannot be Merged or Transferred to a Different Apple ID.
